This has been extremely frustrating…
This has been extremely frustrating from the beginning. I REALLY wanted this to work. I was signed up with Arise a couple of years ago but didn't sign up for any jobs, but I could still see opportunities without having to go down the rabbit hole into frustration for more than 2 months. In March, I signed up for Arise and then discovered now an assessment is required before you can see any opportunities. So I completed the assessment successfully but when I went back to the Arise site, it just kept prompting me to Complete Assessment. I tried using the virtual chat AVA - this is useless. It takes a miracle to connect with a human. When I finally did, they could see the assessment had been completed and I was given a ticket #. It took almost 2 weeks for this to be resolved. So then I find out I have to actually register with a company before I can see opportunities. So I signed up with the one I really wanted to work for and I received a message that I had been accepted and then I got an onboarding email with further instructions, which I tried to complete. But now on the Arise site, my account was stuck in pending registration status and I could do nothing. I emailed Arise and was told to contact the company and finally the company replied that weren't hiring in my state and that was a mistake. They advised I could cancel it on the Arise site. This was not correct, I was unable to cancel this on my end and got nowhere with Ava. I logged in several days and no changes were ever made.
I had a trip planned in Mid April and I really had to step away from this frustration. Last week, I tried logging in to Arise and now it looks ok, except I am prompted to complete the assessment. Again. At this point, I think I must be getting close because I already know who NOT to register with. So yesterday, I completed the assessment again, successfully. When I followed the prompts to close the window and go back to Arise, all I get are more prompts to Complete Assessment.
Then, I saw a contact option which turned out to be Harver, the company that processes the assessments. I was back and forth all day in email with the end of the conversation being Harver telling me they confirm the assessment is complete and I need to contact Arise to resolve. Again, I tried AVA. AVA cannot handle complex issues like this. I tried 15 different options to chat with a human and got nowhere. So I tracked down a phone number and called Arise yesterday afternoon, only to be told after 10 minutes on hold that I needed to send an EMAIL to registration support describing the issues. I sent a lengthy email with all details and screenshots only to receive a canned response telling me to use Ava. When I replied Ava is not helpful, cannot handle these issues and how difficult it is to transfer all this in a chat bow, when I replied that I am begging them to please help resolve this some other way, all I got was the same, canned response telling me to use AVA they don't handle these issues by email. Or apparently by phone either.
I'm done. I have spent HOURS just trying to get onboard with Arise. Based on the other review, I am not missing anything. I began this nightmare of an attempt to earn money around March 15 and it's now June 4.
I do not recommend this company. All I get is the runaround just trying to get started.
