Updated: I received a call today from Billy in customer services and several follow ups after he acted upon the feedback — honestly, a credit to the MTR team. I felt genuinely listened to, and he not only understood my concerns but agreed that improvements are needed to the customer journey — specifically around better informing customers about reasons a product may fall below their standards and what that means financially. I’d welcome those changes and hope they improve the overall experience for future customers.

My original review -I think it’s terrible that you lure people in with a favourable price but then offer less than half for any issue. My Mac battery was apparently tested at 76% (bear in mind the battery settings stated normal) and due to it being under 80% you would only give me less than half the stated amount.

It’d be better to be transparent to people about price tiers so that they’re better informed before sending off their electronics to you.

The only snag was the original envelope didn't arrive to return the phone until I asked for a second one!

Provided the plastic envelope and label for posting the item to them. Also gave clear instructions regarding taking the parcel to the Post Office. Everything was so simple and I received the money into my account within a couple of days. Very well organised.

Great trade-in process for my Galaxy Tablet. Best price I found online. Required just tablet and stylus to be sent ( not the charger). Quickly assessed my device and confirmed the price as originally offered. Money was in my bank the following day.
Only issue was a poor service from Royal Mail Tracked 48, taking 6 days (4 working days) to deliver.
