Puzzled why I couldn’t get the item delivered to my local Warrington branch on click and collect? This would be my favoured choice as I like to ‘mooch’ around in-store to see what’s going down.

T-shirts from essential range at a really low price, these wash up nicely and don't loose shape.

Very happy with Arco, bought loads of uniform, hard hats etc, my local branch in Basildon is great always helpful staff, if its not in stock they get it in for me.

So will continue to use them as very happy.

Very responsive on ordering and items arrived within a couple of days.

Free next day delivery. Ordered late afternoon and was delivered the next day, had a phone call at 8.45 am to say what I ordered had arrived.

You guys have a terrible policy want me to ship an item back to you that is going to cost me almost the cost of just buying a new item? You do not have a warranty and it is worthless to say you have a warranty policy and going to make the consumer pay to fix an item, not good customer service. Your customer service reps are just as bad when you call and talk to them have no people skills.

Definitely one of the worst suppliers I have ever dealt with! You wait days for a response, you would think calling is quicker and easier but it really isn't! Staff have very little knowledge of products and cannot give a definitive answer when it comes to delivery times and availability. Numerous times I've chased orders only to find out they're still sitting there. I only use them if I have no other option and even then I'm very reluctant to do so!

Unfortunately Arco is the most difficult supplier I have ever dealt with :( waiting for the answer takes usually few days, dealing with Arco is also very difficult, never get the info if my order cannot be processed until I ask the question. Sometimes it takes hours to ask Arco not to process something and after that they process is anyway...
Wish that Arco have a better system - more friendly !

If I could give no stars I would! The worst customer service I have ever come across, but let me take you on my journey with Arco.

Have worked with the company for may years with several large manufacturing companies in Northern Ireland, and usually held them in high regard. Until I was trying to purchase a pair of safety boots for just myself.

First of all they sent me the completely wrong saftey boots, but not harm done, just a simple return and refund...right?...wrong!

Couldn't get a response to any of my customer service emails, sent 3 in total. So decided to use the live chat. Managed to get the return set up via the live chat. However, a week went by and still nobody came to collect the safety boots. A lot of back a froward between the live chat and ringing customer service, but just got pushed from pillar to post and never got a solid answer.

Eventually was told that Arco was having issues with their returns via FedEx and it would be sorted asap. Mind you this is now into the 3rd week of me trying to return the safety boots. So finally manage to get a FedEx return label, however on the same day I printed the FedEx return label a courier from Express Freight arrived at my door and collected the safety boots. So I thought happy day that will be me getting the refund any day now...how wrong I was.

Another week goes by and I am yet to receive my refund, or any contact from Arco to say they are processing the refund. So again I ring customer support asking for an update. Now this is where it gets interesting. They tell me that they have not received the returned safety boots and that I will not be getting a refund until they are returned. They were adamant that I had not sent them as I had not got FedEx to pick them up. However, someone on their end had sorted for Express Freight to pick them up. I made them aware of this, but they denied that they even used Express Freight. They told me that I needed to provide a tracking number from Express Freight to prove I had sent them, but that was impossible as I did not set up the return...they did. They then told me that there was nothing more they could do.

So long story short, I had to start a small claims via the courts in order to get my money back. Funny enough, 7 hours after I had started the claim I was issued a full refund, along with a few "we are really sorry" emails. Too little too late.

The order arrived within a few days. All items delivered. Staff member was very pleased as it was his uniform.
The other staff members were please that they had got a new hat to wear outside in the cold.

It is sad to see that in almost 2024 ARCO still thinks all their customers are male. They do not think in female.
Unable to buy a basic pair of thermal socks....clearly label as "male sock".
I did not check more items but probably it is the same!

Arco's products are fab, never had any issues with products and items come quickly. I am leaving a review as a shout out for Samantha Collins is needed. She always goes above and beyond for K and N Surfacing. Working in construction, we are always told things last minute.. Sam always looks into products and gets them at a drop of a hat. Thank you Sam! :)

I can't put all of the blame on Arco, but you have to stand by what you sell. Bought two pairs of Trojan work trousers with knee pad pockets. However, the velcro that is supposed to hold the pads in, constantly parts and the knee pads drop out as you walk. Such an annoyance! I am continually picking knee pads up and having to replace them. I mentioned this on a revisit to the store but got little reaction. Not madly impressed. The trousers are pretty useless to me.
