Auctioning off Nazi memorobilia to make a few quid, they should be ashamed of themselves. They've done it before and apologised for doing so, then they just go and do it again, so apologies obviously mean nothing to them. Boycott this shameful place.

Just read the online reviews and put the filter on 1 star, you will see a very common thread

There is a lady that answers the phone, I think her name was Sue, what an absolute discase of a human being, she was insanely rude to my assistant and when I called with a different take on the situation and she couldn't talk her way out of it, she changed tack to a petty belittling squabbler

It was like trying to have a conversation with the absolute worst kind of partner in the world that see's it as their mission to try and win every single point, when did customer service become about proving your right and your justified in your rudeness, its insane

I shop with maybe 30-40 auctions a week and have done for over a decade, I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say Amersham's service at every level of this establishment is a crime, a crime to the industry and to the country to think people like this are allowed to have contact with the public

I spoke with a man at this auction house yesterday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. He was rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. I would strongly advise others to avoid dealing with this place.Scumbags!!!

Utilized this service to sell some unwanted household items from relatives that have recently passed.
Communicated with Barry who was always polite and professional. Regular updates were given with regards to the items. All lots were sold at auction.
Barry and his team made the whole process simple and straight forward.

I am appalled with this company’s service. I am a regular auction house supporter and have dealt with Amersham before. As a philatelist, my Lots are invariably small and on this occasion, I promptly paid, organised my courier and they kindly popped my item into an envelope, affixed the delivery label and all worked well. I bought another Lot and again paid immediately. I omitted to organise my courier as I had several purchases proceeding simultaneously. Amersham failed to remind me of the overdue item until advising me that they were selling my item and storage charges had been incurred of £189 + VAT! This was for a pair of stamps bought at a cost of £20 less than three months earlier. I apologised for the oversight, organised the courier and asked them to pop my stamps into an envelope with the label attached again. They refused to do so, claimed that their previous cooperation was a ‘one off’ and recommended their own couriers, for which they’d presumably obtain commission. This would have entailed an outlay in excess of the price of my Lot, for which I had paid. My own courier costs have been wasted and Amersham have not returned the cost of my Lot. They have refused to ‘pack’ my Lot and have stated that they will not be ‘communicating regarding this matter further’. This is scandalous and totally lacking in duty of care to customers. Other auction buyers should be aware of the hidden costs and I would advise caution in trusting any transactions!

I have bought several times with this so called „Amersham Auction“ I won a beautiful vase for £254.00 and they ask for the payment to be made within 3 working days. I sent a message to Amersham auction confirming that I will be coming through to collect the vase on Tuesday afternoon as I am disabled in a poweredwheelchair so have to arrange a driver to drive me through to them. I was told in a reply email from Amersham Auction that it was „Fine“ to do so. Amersham auction only open between 2pm and 5pm on Tuesday and I got there bang on time. Amersham Auction have no way to get in to their property as they have high steps which makes it impossible to get in with a wheelchair. They asked me did I not bring „ramps“ to get in………I said no as I have never visited this auction house personally. I got a very dirty looks and was grumbled at as if it was my fault. I was then told that „they would have to bring the payment terminal out in the street for me to pay“ as if it was my fault that I could not get into their auction. Seriously nowhere have I been treated in this manner before, they have a serious attitude problem, young boys who are rude and nasty. Even though they treat a disabled person like this I was still very nice and complimented them on a wonderful auction and said I will see them on Thursday online as I always do, the reply was with a grimace which is so odd as I. Take note this was Tuesday, exactly 3 days after the Auction, I paid and collected within 3 days of the Auction and they said it’s fine to do so.

Thursday was their auction date and tried to sign up to their auction, only to see that I was blocked, so I called only for a woman to answer when she heard my name and surname she said she knows why I am calling her and she the girl in the front office blocked me. She then started shouting and screaming to go away, I asked why and she shouted that I paid late!? I said I paid an£ collected within 3 working days and I got a confirmation to say that it was fine………..I tried to call her down but she was having none of it. I would stay away from this auction place it’s not worth been treated in this manner. Clearly they have issues dealing with disabled people and it’s too much for them to come out in the street to take my payment. If this is the way they treat a severely disabled person I would not deal with them under any circumstance. Rude, Arrogant, Nasty and clearly Dislike Disable People Auction. They are not going to be around long if this is the way they treat their buyers, I wonder how they treat their sellers!? Looking at the very low rating they have on Trustpilot and other review and social media website it says a lot about them.

The Equality Act is there to protect disabled people against venues and service providers to make reasonable adjustments, provide support and make things accessible.

Just because I have a serious and major physical or mental impairment you are warned that such behaviour is unacceptable under the Disability Act, they should immediately take ACTION TO MAKE YOUR PROPERTY ACCESSIBLE, if you fail to do so I will report the matter to the authorities, it’s disgraceful to make it out that it is my fault that I am disabled and I should have equipment to access your property!

Lastly, they clearly do not like foreign people and dislike foreign accents, they tried to make out that they could not understand me when speaking and they made strange noises imitating me, I have 3 business degrees and come for an English family and have lived in the UK for nearly 25 years. This type of racism is on an all time high in the UK where Muslims and any other foreigners are made to feel unwelcome, which is very sad!have been only courteous to them.

Big happy shout out to Barry at Amersham Auctions! Helpful, knowledgable and realistic in managing expectations on selling hard-to-let-go treasures and possessions. His fun, friendly manner helped make a challenging task a positive step forward. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!!!

As a first time seller I was anxious about the whole process, I had quite a large consigment of ad hoc items, but Barry, Hayden and the crew made it so simple I need not have worried ! I thoroughly enjoyed the live stream of the auction. I will definately be back with more items, thank you so much x

Terible action house! be careful what you buy from them! they sell fake products! I bought 3 watches from them only to find out that they are actually fake! I tried to talk to them but in vain. Buy at your own risk!

Unfortunate incident in their car park. It was suggested to me by one of the staff that I should block people in as their car park is very small, I said OK if my car needs to be moved can you let me know you have my details at the reception. They said they would let me know. Unfortunately I wasn't let know and over £100 of damadge was done to my vehicle in the carpark. I requested politely that an announcement related to carparking and letting people know if a car needs to be moved be made at the next auction. This was denied and I then said I have to write a review, this was taken as an unintended threat and I was banned from the auction house. So if ever attending this auction house be aware your car may get damaged if in their car park. And no responsibility taken or prevention of more incidents. This is such a shame as the atmosphere was mostly good at this auction house.
