Really disappointed. Recieved a £30 box of chocolates for my birthday which had arrived with half the box totally melted, about 6 out of 21 chocolates edible and the rest discoloured due to heat and didn't taste great. Emailed to notify the company and still haven't received any reply.
Really poor customer service for an expensive product.

These Amelie chocolat cost £14.99 last year in april sept and december, for all 21 choc boxes.
2025 and it's an exorbitant £23.99 don't ya' know!.
8 quid more in just a matter of months? Thats up and coming corporate greed for all!!
I'm not purchasing again, i purchased numerous boxes 2023 2024 they were dear for what they are to start with at 14.99 but the new high prices demean the public intelligence.

I'm disgusted as the profits must be thoroughly obscene.
Stodgy over thick sugary brown stuff i'd not ever recommend to any one.
The cherry chocolates are totally disgusting and nothing resembling tangy tart cherry just not good chocolates and Now far in excess of the price they should be.

I sent a box to my 90 year old sister in law. She took a while to respond but I am pleased to report she described them as 'scrummy' which sure pleases me. I will use this company again with confidence.

Loved these. Ordered the 'Big Box of Chocolates" to use at coffee for a big dinner party and all guests were impressed. Will certainly use again.

Amelie Chocolat has always and continues to provide first class (real) Belgian chocolates with superb ganaches and flavours. I am so glad I discovered their beautiful and delicious chocolates a few years ago and now treat myself, send them to friends and have them deliverd at Christmas to business clients. Hurrah- Hurrah-Hurrah for proper fine chocolates !

Ordered the Easter Hamper bunnies.Must say very dissapointed how they were presented.Just delivered in a cardboard box,no presentation.For £18 expected more than a few chocolates.

OK. So I placed an order on the Friday... I only ordered a small box for around 12.99.. when asked to state which delivery method I'd like..
I requested next day delivery.. which was £6 .. I thought..yes OK.. I'm happy to pay the extra.. but it wasn't delivered next day.. so I contacted amelie.. they stated that, I had placed the order too late on the Friday. Therefore it would be delivered on the Monday.. 3 days later. Which apparently is stated in their terms and conditions.. i understand I should have read the small print. But surely the option of next day should even be an option if its too late. So when enquiring again. I was then informed.. my order had now been cancelled and refunded.
I'm still waiting for the refund. Which I didn't ask for.. I still expected the delivery... this service I have found shocking.. I will most definitely not be recommending them to anyone in future.

Not tasted yet ,but for the cost everything seems to be miniaturised, even the free gift so small, ,not sure I'd use them again , but we'll see the taste at Xmas may change my mind, delivery very good ,
If they doubled the size of products cost would be worth the money

Beautiful chocolates. The liqueur chocolates are to die for - real liqueur inside, not some gooey fondant. The other chocolates we have tried are all lovely.
Well packaged and we had free next day delivery from DPD.

I buy chocolates from here every Christmas as gifts for other people but invariably get to eat one or three if I'm lucky. My mum who is a chocoholic told my dad not to bother buying her chocolates from anywhere else, so they must be good. Always good service and the flavours are very distinguishable.

Ordered a Easter egg after buying chocolates before and being very happy with them, but when the product arrived on Friday the 31st March 2023 could not believe, For £28 they sent an egg the size of a large orange in a plain brown cardboard box wrapped in clear plastic with a plain brown cardboard box with a hole in it as the stand ( I bought food for my cat today and that came in a much nicer box than this egg ) , I have bought my wife an egg every year, but this was the first time from Amelia and the last !!!!! to say I'm not happy with the product would be an understatement, and I can assure Amelia chocolate I will never buy anything from them again, they should be ashamed of themselves, se below previous orders !!!! Ordered twice as presents. I'm told they were delicious and beautifully packaged.

I sent some chocolates to my dad who has coeliac disease so needs gluten free chocolates. He said they were really delicious, so I wanted to recommend this company if you're looking for gluten free chocs that are actually nice. They also clearly mark the gluten free ones so they were easy to find on the website.

I will not be using this organisation again!! I ordered chocolates for a friend on 17 December 2021. I was then taken to a delivery date calendar, & the soonest one I could choose for delivery was 20 December, as the other slots before this, were taken. It's now 8 January 2022, & I've had a few calls with the organisation, to put this situation right. Bearing in mind, my friend was supposed to receive her surprise gift before Xmas, and did not, is abysmal. Apparently, this organisation use the Royal Mail postal service to send items, and have informed me that 25% of staff are off work due to Covid-19. I'm a clinical NHS worker, & 1 in 20 people are off in hospitals, due to Covid-19. If this organisation cannot guarantee correct deliveries through the postal service, pandemic or no pandemic!! Then they should use a reliable courier service, as my experience with this company have been horrendous. They even asked if they could call my friend to see if she had received the chocolates, obviously disbelieving my word!! Apparently, they didn't tell her what the goods were when calling her, but this "charade" has gone on for so long now, that she literally guessed what the "so called" surprise was. This whole situation with this chocolate company has been a HUGE mess, and takes away the fun of a Xmas present. It has been a real anti-climax for both me and my friend, over all of this mess. I will certainly be using Amazon from now on, & only WISH that I'd done this in the first place.

Luxurious and delicious chocolates beautifully made. Just heaven in a box. What you see and read is exactly what you receive. Highly recommend.

First time using Anelie Chocolat and this will not be the last. Sent these to some friends and they were delighted. Had an small issue with the web site but that was handled superbly by Julianne. No longer will I send flowers when I need to send a gift. Thank you for great service.

I ordered chocolate for my Uncles birthday as I have a few times before. Sadly on this occasion they arrived in a molten mass due to the weather. I expressed disappointment on fifo when asked for a review. Instantly Philip mailed to ask about my problem and rectified by sending another order out which arrived in prestine condition. I cannot thank him enough..customer service at its best. I will happily continue to order from Amelie in the full knowledge that if I have an issue Philip will sort it. Look after him Amelie...he is a star X

I have placed many orders with Amelie Chocolate. They have been my savour as I live miles away from family. I order chocolate at Christmas, Easter, Birthdays or just because. The staff are always exceedingly friendly, delivery always on time and the chocolates are a great hit....Yummy is one expression. Wonderful that profits are being donated to the NHS. Very thoughtful. I bought these chocolates on the internet as I am self isolating and thought it would be a nice treat. Didnt know what to expect as I
have never bought anything from this company before.
I think these must be the best chocolates ever. They are sensational flavours , beautifully made and well packaged. Really glad I bought these chocolates. Self isolation doesnt seem half as bad with Amelie chocolates!
This was my first order and it wont be my last!
