Went in store and wanted a pair of pants, but they had a stain, so I ordered them online. Then, when they arrived to my house, I got a obviously worn pair that was all black on the bottom, had water stains, and other stains all over the pants. These pants are $78, so I expect a new and never worn pair of pants, but these were so obviously worn and destroyed. One thing for stains in stores, but there should be none on my online order.

Ordered a product with incorrect address but seller refuses to cancel. Purchased over $100 in Jewlery for a loved one but apple pay put in my old address. Immedicatly I tried to contact customer support but they refused to cancel. The order didn't ship until 3 days later and to an incorrect address.

Ordered 2 physical gift cards on 12/2/24 but received an email shortly after saying my order was "partially cancelled." Email wouldn't load properly on any device so it was unclear exactly what was cancelled. Called today and was told the entire order was cancelled. What company runs out of gift cards during the holiday shopping period? December 2nd isn't exactly at the last minute.
So, I decided to get an e-card for my granddaughter. Chose the Christmas tree card but had it sent to my own email so I can put it under the tree for her. However, when it arrived there isn't anything decorative about it. No color, no tree picture, nothing. What's the point of all those choices for e-cards?? This was my first encounter with Altar'd State and will be my last!

Ordered items for my wife for Christmas. Got order confirmation, card charged, etc. Got an email a day later that my order was canceled because they were now out of stock. Talked to customer service and they basically said “oops lots of people wanted these and we oversold. Also we aren’t ordering more sorry”

Cam at the store in Crabtree mall in NC is AMAZING! My grandmother passed away a few days ago and I was so nervous to go shopping for a funeral dress. Cam helped me find the perfect dress and was so kind/helpful the whole time.

Usally I have a great time shopping at altard state but this time unfortunately was a terrible experience. I am usually greeted well when i’m in the dressing room however today was awful. I was shopping with my friend and a lady named Sirena was helping us out. She was so awful fat shaming my friend i couldn’t believe the words she was saying. I will never be going back to that store.

I took my wife and daughter there today, in the Summerlin, Las Vegas location. The caucasian lady with black hair was extremely harsh in the way she spoke and her attitude to help. Noticed she was nice to all the young caucasian guest, but not to my wife and daughter, who are Asian. Even while waiting, I got up and asked her if she knew the closest coffee place, and she answer harshly and short, “across the street”. Which was not exact, but across and all the way down to the right past 5 or 6 stores. Honestly, felt she had a thing against Asians. Never will my family ever enter that store.

I was looking forward to shopping at Altar 'd  State at this location with my daughter. We've been to other stores and had a pleasant experience every time. We like that it's a Christian based establishment and their association with volunteer work. My daughter loves the clothes, but when we went inside the sales associates did not represent the morale of the the company. They had on  belly shirts and no customer service. There was no urgency for store presentation, associates gossiping over in a corner. Meanwhile, clothing all over the floor, my daughter tripped over them more than once. No one at the register. We had to hunt someone down to ask a question because everyone disappeared at the same time.
The management at this location is very negligent and it shows. I know this does not represent all locations. This one is by far is the worst I have ever visited.
The staff here are more interested in gossiping, disappearing and ignoring customers than applying any effort.

Do not waste your money at this store.

Purchasing from the Altard State website, I have received stained clothing 4 times. 2 of these items were on sale, and 2 were full price. The 4th time occurred today, and I must say I’ve had enough. Is anyone checking these products for stains? Some have makeup stains, some have markings, and some just look plain dirty. Although I appreciate customer service reps refunding me, I still cannot believe that the website has sent me stained clothing on 4 separate occasions (and they weren’t cheap).
The AS stores are much, much better in terms of cleanliness with their clothing, at least from my experience. The website, however, must require their employees to actually CHECK the clothing before mailing me items that look stained and dirty. Until then, I will no longer order from the website.

They had a BOGO 50% on sweaters around the holidays. I really loved two of the sweaters and decided to splurge (because if we’re being honest, even the sale doesn’t make these sweaters “reasonably priced.” Well, both sweaters start falling apart after 1 wear. I absolutely wasted my money. The dresses here are good, but don’t bother buying anything that is knit, because it is an overpriced item that won’t last.

Advertised delivery by Christmas. I get it, shipping is not reliable this time of year. Good thing I didn't have high expectations with this company because they also let my daughter down when she had ordered a gift for someone this fall.

What a wonderful experience!!!! Lovely merchandise and I received it the next day. And it was in a beautiful package in my front porch. THANK YOU!!!! It made my whole day!!!!

The workers are so nice! Clothing is also really good too! The prices are understandable but I would like them to lower the prices just a little bit. I would definitely recommend this

so so so cute. the staff is incredibly helpful and available. they call everyone by name and check in often to help with sizes. but honestly, come just for the dressing room area. it is so spacious and beautiful, with personalized dressing rooms and couches galore. highly recommend for a lovely shopping experience

My 13 yo daughter tried to buy a dress marked at $70. When she took it to the register they took off the tag and wanted to charge her $90. Unethical practice as far as I'm concerned. Will never go there again.

I love their clothes, but also the customer service is awesome. I brought my daughter in yesterday, and it was her birthday. I thought I would ask if there was any sort of discounts on ones birthday, and this customer service woman called her manager to see what they could do. She ended up allowing us 50% off one item. It made my daughters day!

Cute clothes but for the price of the t-shirts I expected them to be better quality.. they are paper thin. Because of this I would not purchase from here again. If they don’t last long I would give this place a 1 star.

I used to really enjoy dresses from here but over the past year the quality has gotten awful. Every single dress or shirt purchased within the last year has ripped or frayed after 1 wear. For an 80 dollar dress I expected more. They carry cute clothing but horrible quality.

This store is cute but WAY WAY over priced. My biggest issue- for this to be a Christian store, 100% of their dress are SHORT short! I have found one dress all my years going here that doesn’t flash everyone at the slightest movement. Give us a few more inches to work with here. Tryna preserve my modesty up in here.
