I had a poor experience with Affinity Living’s reservation process. After paying a holding deposit, I was asked to provide full, unredacted bank statements. For privacy and security reasons, I offered statements with store names redacted but with the income, charges, and balances clearly visible.
Management declined my offer and claimed this was a breach of agreement, so they were keeping my deposit. Only after I formally challenged this—pointing out that I was protecting my private data and following consumer guidelines—did they eventually refund the money in full. In my opinion, their initial handling of my data concerns was unnecessary and intrusive, and their policy is demeaning and uncivilized. I won't deal with them again.

I was a first time buyer and had Ellis and Claire Chambers work on my case for me and they were both so helpful. All questions were answered professionally and quickly. I had a stage in the process with the solicitors where something went wrong and I asked for there help and Claire was soo helpful and was so reassuring on the situation it really made me feel at ease. Overall they were amazing and so helpful

I was going through the process of remortgaging with Affinity, when a few weeks before I was due to complete, my mortgage advisor went AWOL. I started being contacted by Jess, with no explanation. I only found out my mortgage advisor left the company after trying to email him and getting an automatic reply. It is extremely disappointing the company weren't honest with me.

My mortgage advisor had also made a mistake in not realising I was due to pay an early repayment charge on one part of my mortgage and so this delayed completion of my mortgage. Although Affinity ending up reimbursing me the early repayment charge, and the interest as the mortgage didn't complete on time, I was still out of pocket for a short time as I had to absorb these costs initially. This meant I had to cancel a trip I had planned as I could no longer afford it.

I have now come to understand that at least two mortgage advisors left at around the same time and whilst I appreciate it must be stressful to try and take over their work at no notice, candour, communication and kindness goes very far which unfortunately I did not get on this occasion.

After reading the many positive reviews of Affinity and requiring guidance with a non-standard home purchase, we felt confident with our choice of broker.

However, after initially positive contact with Daniel Edwards, we soon found ourselves chasing for updates.
After agreeing a quote and asking Daniel to proceed with our application, we heard nothing more.

Two weeks on, via Heron Financial, we have been approved for a better deal, with the same lender, all within 5 days.

Simon Jones was extremely helpful and displayed a deep level knowledge clearly gained from experience as well a his own market attention.

Cannot thank or recommend him enough.

We came back to Affinity and Ben Carter to remortgage the property Ben helped us buy. Once again he was brilliant through-out the whole process. Incredibly speedy at getting back to us and always on hand to jump on a call if we had any questions. I couldn’t ask for a better broker! Nicola Winter was also amazing support and chased up other parties on our behalf to ensure everything went smoothly. We wouldn’t go to anyone else and are working with Ben again on our next home move.

After a series of negative experiences with other mortgage brokers, we finally found Eric Miller! He was brilliant in helping us obtaining our first mortgage offer. As first time buyers we had a lot of questions and Eric was always available to answer our queries at any time. He works tirelessly and with extreme professionalism for his clients to achieve the best result for them. I would not hesitate to recommend Eric to anyone I know. Thank you Eric!

Many thanks to Ben Carter who has been an amazing mortgage broker throughout the whole process which was not easy in my case. In a turbulent times of high interest rates Ben was able to secure the best interest rate just in time. We would not be able to achieve this via bank directly. He is very professional and always finds time to answer queries and help. He is the best broker I came across so far! Thank you again.

My family and I have used Affinity a number of times and they have been excellent. We have dealt with a few different team members and not once have we been disappointed. The ethos in the company is throughout. We recently had a situation where speed was extremely important as funds where needed ASAP. Affinity went over and above and used their strength in the market to obtain the loan very quickly indeed. Other brokers would not be able to do this! Do not look any further..

We've been dealing now with Simon Jones from Affinity Group for some 7 years now and he has made our life with our rental properties so much easier. All the staff at Affinity are always available and on hand to help with whatever queries we have, so very helpful, especially Olivia :-)

A solicitor friend of mine recommended Affinity so I entered with quite high expectations. From the first conversation I had with a mortgage advisor to the most recent contact I've had with the case manager and protection advisors, everyone at the Affinity Group has been courteous, friendly, reliable and extremely professional. Our purchase is not simple, so there is much to worry about. Having Affinity to support has taken so much weight off of our shoulders; it's so crucial have a team you can rely upon.

Our mortgage advisor and first point of contact was Louise McCarthy. Louise was easy to talk to, very experienced and gave us clear instruction. Louise is a great communicator, she responds incredibly quickly and she made us feel calm and comfortable. Louise often contacted us throughout the process just a day or even hours before we were about to contact her. She's really in touch with your case and you cannot help but feel in safe hands. Once our offer went for approval we dealt more with our case manager Mary Kearney. Mary is equally awesome and outstanding at what she does. She was also always incredibly fast to respond, excellent at explaining the process, offers thoughtful advice and perhaps most importantly, it's clear that both Mary and Louise really care. They're beyond excellent at their jobs and should you be fortunate enough to have therm on your team you're guaranteed to feel looked after.

The service provided by Jess Abrahams and Ben Groves was very efficient and professional. They quickly identified the right product for us and made the application process quick and easy. We would definitely use Affinity Group and Jess and Ben again.

We have been dealing with Affinity, Louise and Olivia for the past 6 years now, ever since purchasing our new home, and they have been nothing but fantastic every time we contact them. Excellent all round service.

We have used Affinity for our mortgage, life insurance and wills over the last 2 to 3 years and most recently in September of this year for our re-mortgage. We would not want any other organisation helping us with such important life choices. Affinity's staff are always attentive, understanding, quick to respond and ensure you are kept up to date and there are no hard sells from any of the staff. We have most recently been working with Dan Edwards and Mary Kearney on our re-mortgage and they have been excellent.

I was recommended to use Affinity group for my mortgage by a friend. Simon was amazing, he made the application process very simple and was in constant communication with me throughout.
