Terrible service for a private clinic
Terrible service for a private clinic, my husband was turned away an hour and a half before closing saying they were full but the place was empty, won’t be using again. Vhi Swiftcare is much better
Very bad service
I phoned Affidea to get an idea of waiting times for an appointment. I was told it may take two weeks. I was also told it takes 48 hours for a referral to be received - this is also on their automated phone message. 7 days later, I called and the person on the phone told me it wasn't there. Then I was told after about ten minutes of waiting, that the email was there. Essentially, this means I would have to wait even longer for them to process the request. When I told the person on the phone that I should have checked around, I was told the waiting time is 5 weeks, which I responded to to say that my own doctor said two weeks. It turns out this is untrue. I called a private clinic directly afterwards and they said it will be ten days, reflecting what my own doctor said. I asked for a manager and I was told to email referrals again. I will never use their service. I wasn't even able to to begin with.
Very rude call centre staff
Call centre staff extremely rude and unprofessional spoke with 2 different people 1 advised me he had a manager and another advised me they have none… what sort of call centre has no manager?? Also raised her voice to me and did not help in the slightest. I quoted on the connect patient app it says doctors receive report in 1-2 days in which she called me a liar. Also hung up on me after I wanted the complaints team. Extremely unprofessional biggest waste of money never again.

Pathetic. Won't use again. Worst experience ever. Useless. Wouldn't let us in an hour and half before closing. Said place was full, there wasn't a soul there. Won't use again.

Tried to book an MRI as requested by my consultant. Was told I would be contacted in 3 days called them after 4 days was told no its 10 days before we contact you. Person on the phone couldn't care less that the information was conflicting and offered no solutions. Would not go near as they dont care about their patients.
Husband had ultrasound done in santry…
Husband had ultrasound done in santry paid 180€ up front and in the day asked for receipt so he could claim off insurance.He was told they couldn’t give him a receipt but would email it to him .. it’s now almost 3 weeks later and at least 10 emails he still has not received the receipt..very bad service…deffo will not use it again ..

Would give 0 stars if it would be possible. Had an MRI scan on my knee in the beginning of July in Tallaght. The report came back with one of my conditions not noted when it was noted in the report from 2019 done by the same centre. Contacted them asking to review the report and reissue it to my consultant and myself. It's now September and still no review on the report. Just useless emails asking to speak with my consultant first when they made a mistake in the first place and they need to fix it. So much for the customer service. Can't even get anyone on the phone. Don't waste your time and money and use their service.

I attended last week and the week before dealt with receptionist both time Katie, what a lady to the highest order I was so nervous and on edge goin for the mri she assured me I’d be fine as I’d be in an out in the space of 5 songs which was a great way to put it she proceeded to joke unless it was the stone roses song fools gold which is one of the longest songs ever, we both had a giggle an I felt at ease whilst this was all going on the printer was broken there was a young chap in her ear also asking a lorry load of questions while answering him showing him what to do on his system she reassured his customer fixed the printer booked an appointment for a lady with no English an directed someone to a room with a red clipboard before she even asked a question she done all this while still attending to me, what I loved most was when I came back the following week she greeted me by name mr pardy is your Walkman broken would you like to hear another few songs? I’ve attended the Mater for everything I will now be going to affidea absolute gem Katie thank you

I attended the Santry clinic Friday the 25th of August and I have to the say the staff are wonderful especially Denise on reception who went out of her way to assist me in every possible way, thank you Denise you made a very nervous person totally at ease.

I had the pleasure of dealing with a lovely lady on reception her name is Ruth, she was so helpful in every way possible. Ruth is the kind of person everyone wants to talk with when you might be anxious and needing to sort out your appointments.
I would give no stars if I could
I would tgive no stars if I could. Waited weeks for a scan apt after referral sent in by doc. Ended up missing apt due to bad tummy bug. Have been trying to rearrange for almost a month now. Either I can't get anyone on the phone or I do but they obviously hate their job and are extremely rude. They don't pass on requests. Via email, back and forth constantly. They keep asking the same questions and directing me to their useless phone number. I complained about these guys a few years ago and absolutely nothing has changed.

Shocking how you can't talk to anyone from Affedia over the phone and they only put you talking to prerecorded messages and info. Considering the service they are offering it's appalling you can't talk to an actual person and get relevant info.
Needed to have an ultrasound
Needed to have an ultrasound. Arrived to my appointment at Northwood facility, unsure of where I was going I asked ‘security guard’ At reception was I in the right place, his response was did I want him to open the door and hold my hand! Went and had my ultrasound and afterwards staff called her colleague to review my scans, while I was there they discussed my scan results in Filipino .When I asked what they were saying and if anything to worry about was told it was not urgent and results would he went to my gp. Very unprofessional. Gp confirmed further treatment required as soon as possible’n

My second time having a MRI with them. Reception staff lovely. But once that door closes behind you the rude and mean staff appear. I will never attend Dundrum again. I had difficulty with something. The women told me I had three minute to sort it or I should get dressed go home and make a new appointment. I am paying for this treatment. They should be ashamed .

I brought my mother for a MRI recently to the cork clinic, appointment was for 2.30 and we arrived early @2pm and were seen @2.15.
The staff, service and care was second to none. I would highly recommend affidea. This service is second to none

Trying to make an appointment for CT. Only available dates are two day in July while I am holiday. Next available appointment is in October. So much for having Laya Insurance, 4 month wait period a disgrace.
