Very organized, polite and care in handling all items. Seperate garden van for my very tall bamboo plants which are extremely heavy. All positioned exactly where I wanted them in the new garden. Cheerful chaps made moving easy for us oldies. Def recommend.

At first I thought that the removal men did a great job, but that was until I started sorting my boxes out. Despite the fact that the small bedroom was half the size of the other two bedrooms I found some items in one of the big bedrooms clearly labelled small bedroom. I even found some things in the small bedroom labelled 'shed'! This was particularly troublesome as I am 83 and have a crumbling spine.

On the plus side the guys were friendly and placed furniture where I wanted it. They even moved furniture when my daughter inadvertently asked them to put a chest of drawers in the wrong place. They used mats everywhere and had covers for things. Only 2 of my ornaments (of about 50) got broken during the move but as my daughter & I packed them ourselves the movers could not be held responsible and I accepted this in the agreement when booking.

From the first call to Actual Removal, speaking with Jo through to moving my 78 year old mum out of her house and storing her belongings until she moves into her new home in six months, the experience was fantastic. Jo and team were extremely helpful and really went out of their way to accommodate the move date. The two Steve’s who came the day before the move a packed my mums belongings were brilliant really polite, helpful, fun and very considerate to my mum’s needs. On moving day the team arrived exactly when they said they would, again helpful, polite and very carful of belongings and the property it’s self, they worked extremely hard and had the house emptied by midday, I would absolutely recommend Actual, great firm great people 👍

Very efficient, everything went smoothly, even down the right amount of boxes they gave us. Would highly recommend, they made the whole thing stress free for us. Thanks to all the friendly office staff too.

Absolutely fantastic service - bookings team were so kind, helpful and empathetic in what was a particularly busy and stressful time due to the stamp duty deadline - exactly the attitude you'd wish for. The service was fantastic, they packed everything so well, they worked really hard to load everything and they unpacked in a logical and helpful way. The remover guys were very friendly and cheerful and kept us going through what was a very exhausting and gruelling day for us, and especially my hubby who had not moved house for 67 years!

Actual were very helpful in meeting our needs. All staff polite, helpful and efficient. Thankyou for making our move easy.

We moved at the end of February from a 6 bed to a 3.
All the guys worked so hard, were friendly and went the extra mile.
It was a very long day, but they made it go smoothly.

What a wonderful helpful company we were worried it wouldn’t all fit in the two vehicles that arrived but was put at ease by the excellent staff that were sent they packed everything up by 11.30 then once we were at the new premises they unloaded everything within a couple of hours , would highly recommended and definitely use again if we ever move .

This is the second time I have used Actual Removal. After my initial enquiry I received an appointment for a video call and within a few hours I received our quote with no hidden costs. Communication was excellent and the team that took care of our removal on the day were wonderful - they were friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommend.

We had a big move from Great Dunmow up to Scotland with Actual and they were great. From storing 90 boxes that we had managed to pack up a couple of months before the move to loading us up on a Monday morning and delivering everything to Scotland the next day, unloading hundreds of boxes and reconstructing various beds, wardrobes and sofas. All done with absolutely no breakages!

A great team who exceeded expectations and where careful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful

I send this email almost 10 days after our move due to going away the following day and not having the time until now to send.

I was incredibly disappointed with our move. Upon closer inspection we have had items damaged; grease marks on our new sofa, items scuffed, marked and scraped.

Our expensive treadmill; which is why we had someone view to see what we had in terms of weight and items had so much heavy items on it. Explaining to your colleague it has a maximum weight it can go on - he said wont fit everything in if not stacked on the treadmill. He said normally have a second vehicle with gym stuff to avoid this but company “saving money”. We asked for a quote so our equipment would not be damaged. We have not haggled for cheaper and expected to have appropriate sized vehicles for the safe transport of our possessions. We could have easily got a firm who quote over the phone or got a man and a van for our equipment and been significantly cheaper but we were reassured our gym equipment would be looked after. I have not been able to look at the state of the rest of the equipment as the garage is rammed and I cannot get to it.

I will need to come back to you with itemised damage; but I am away for 2 weeks so it will need to wait until I get back. I will not be able to see if the treadmill is damaged; as it no doubt is with all the weight placed on it, until I get back and test it.

Regarding boxes being placed in correct rooms - we put rooms on the boxes and most of the boxes were in the wrong place so having to move them ourselves - with some suitcases and obvious things for the house being left in the garage. I can understand boxes in the house and its not a huge deal; however it is time consuming and have spent most of the time putting everything in the right room ourselves so may as well not have written anything.

Furthermore all our garden planters were left x4 in our previous back garden and x1 in the front. We chose to leave the 7 water butts as could see these would be stacked above the gym equipment and have residual water dripping on the gym equipment.

Whilst packing the vehicle at our property I also found your colleagues using my weights, had most of my weights on the bar - so not just starting to use. At the time I laughed it off and pretended to be ok with this; because they had barely started and I didn't want them to do a bad job and then have less respect for out stuff packing, storing and then delivering the following day. But this is very unprofessional.

What a huge waste of money with no regard for our expensive equipment. Cannot express how disappointed I am in the service received. Nothing was done by the company as we had sent the complain 10 days after the move due to going away 2 days after the move and not having time to sort everything.
