A great solution for us
A great solution for us, helping us get organised for a house move. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and showed us their units so we could judge the size we needed, and helped us a lot when we needed to adjust our start date. Moving in was easy, too, and there has been plenty of parking space whenever we've been there, lots of trolleys, and the lifts work. Plus our house is much tidier for viewings! Well worth the money.

Access Self Storage Stevenage
The staff at Access Stevenage are absolutely lovely. Unfortunately the company has decided that this location should close at 6pm on week days, 5pm on Saturdays and 4 pm in Saturdays. 6pm is too early during the week. When we rented a unit previously first in 2018-2020 and then 2022 to 2023 there was late opening. We did a move from Norwich on 19th March. The removal company packed up the Luton van by 2.45pm and we all arrived at Access Stevenage at 5.10pm. There was no way everything could be unpacked by 6pm. I did not have the required ID on me to arrange late access but the very kind (female) staff member stayed on late and we finished by 6.20pm. Whilst we were unpacking two other Luton vans arrived between 5.15pm and 6 pm and everyone was unhappy about the closing times. I wouLd suggest Access at least open until 7pm as it seems lots of people do try to get there after 5pm. It also made the move very stressful as the Norwich company would have been completely stuck had the Access staff member not kindly stayed open a bit longer for us. So 10/10 for the staff, but 5/10 for the company's opening hours

The space was easy to book on line, I was able to upload my id and proof of address and complete my booking simply and easy. On the day we stored our belongings the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great but timings need reconsidering
Customer service is great. Employees are helpful and polite and always smiling. I had a good offer, grateful. However, opening times aren't at par with nearby competition. Only bigger units are offered "after hours" access. Competition is open 3 hours after 6 for all. Otherwise, all is good.
