I had good experience using Abriggs before they were bought out by CIBT. The service was great then. Now, the service is all time worst. I submitted my China Visa application almost 1.5 months. I was rejected due to how they filled out my application. Also, I got no advice from them. The consultant even complained that I was too aggressive for follow up with her. My advice is NEVER use this agency for China Visa. They are just clueless and horrible. Go with a Chinatown Agency. They can do 100 times better.

This company was recommended to do a legalization of foreign documents. I did the online form and paid the initial fee because nobody will talk to you unless you do. I was told someone would contact me within 24 hours. It’s been over a week. I have called and emailed numerous times. Not a single response from this company. I have wasted more than a week of my time when I need this document urgently. Terrible, terrible , terrible customer service.

Went to my son's gym (Laf*tne**) on a promotion. They asked for and held my drivers license. When I left they couldn't find it. I had travel booked. I called A. Briggs in LA and they expedited a passport. I had a courier deliver it to my door in 4 days--the Sunday night before my important trip. You can trust A. Briggs.

This company will take large amounts of money and provide no service. A "rush" took $640 and 4 weeks (they lost paperwork).

I travel the world for business and have utilized A.Briggs for years. A. Briggs was quick, efficient, cost effective and most important honest.
CIBT has ruined A. Briggs. What does CIBT stand for, Costly, Incompetent, Broken, Terrible! I spent an 30 mins with a lovely lady named Carla and she informed me that total costs for my colleague's Chinese Visa would be about $200...I was happy to pay. The final bill was $655.26! I was shocked and called the company, it took 30 minutes to argue the over charges and I received a $219.00. and still have to pay more than double the original quote.
Never again will I use CIBT.

I was needing a visa, so I hired A Briggs to do a 3-week passport. It took 1 month and 5 days. My granddaughter filed for a passport at our county office after I did and received it in less than 4 weeks. She paid $80 total, and I paid A Briggs $476 plus I had to send a signed document to them and paid $30+. So I wasted over $400 and it took a week longer. I recommend that you never use this service.

I am about to cancel a major business trip because their expediter obtained a tourist visa instead of a business visa and they cannot get me my passport back in time. I need to find someone new as they've gone massively downhill.

Before buyout a trustworthy company. After, too many hidden fees offered almost as an afterthought (one $25. fee written in light grey typeface almost impossible to see... but even if checked, they charge you anyway). I used the company for many years. During the last two uses I have been scammed by them..... twice. I'm done.

First problem was they wanted to process my application for a tourist visa as a business visa and put a "due date" ten days after what I had requested.

Website says fees "start" at $90, but since I wasn't applying for expedited service, I didn't see the fine print that said I had to opt out of a $25.00 "Passport Replacement Fee" in case they lost my passport! They also charged another $25.00 for a "Brazilian upload Surcharge" after I had completed the application online, printed it out, signed it, and mailed it to them. There was also a 4% "Consular Processing fee." Add $10.00 for a money order which costs $1.25 at the post office and which other services ask you to mail in with your application, but which Briggs/CIBT does not include in their requested documents.

Their communication protocol is horrid. You must call a central office and wait for them to get around to contacting someone in the office actually handling your application. (Emails also go through a central screening.) That may take 2-3 days. One morning I called and the person answering said they had heavy volume and that I had to leave my name and number and I would get a call back. I did not get a call back until two days later. You cannot call and expect to be connected to the person actually handling your visa.

What A Briggs used to get completed in less than 3 days takes CIBT a minimum of 5 days and at a higher cost!

I have used A Briggs for nearly 2 years. Now that A Briggs has been bought out by CIBT, the entire experience has drastically changed for the worse!!

CIBT is total corporate bureaucracy with slow turnaround times, high fees that are not fully disclosed upfront, and extremely poor customer service! I have never seen a company that wants your credit card number upfront without disclosing the total cost of services to be rendered!! BEWARE!!

Thanks to flippant customer service agents that are only robots reading off a computer screen, I will have to find another Visa service for all my business travel. Thanks for wasting my time CIBT and still not getting me a travel visa!

Abriggs made applying for a visa as painless as possible. We had a meeting with them where they told us all we would need. We chose to pay extra to have the process expedited, which was worth it. We got our visa as soon as it was possible. Highly recommend!

I was in a crunch to get my Brazilian Visa (leaving in less than a month) and A Briggs provided the fastest turnaround through their expedited service. I even received the passport faster than expected and had no issues with the visa when I arrived in Brazil.

Expensive service, but got the visa in a quick time frame. Only issue was that there was trouble with the application, and although I called and left a VM for them, no one responded to my questions. That was very concering to not get a response after giving away my credit card information.

I've used A Briggs for several years now, and recommend them to all my associates. There are cheaper ways to get passports and visas, but no better ways, at least that I have found. The A Briggs website works great, and takes the mystery out of what can otherwise often be a confusing process.

I was completely happy with the service I received at Abriggs and would recommend Abriggs to my friends and family.

Because of the difficulty in sending my visa application to the correct office, as I had tried to send it to NYC and then to Washington,, DC, I asked for your help in getting it through, in time, to the Atlanta, GA office.

You did this, with only a few days. before my departure date. Not only that, but you refunded the original cost of this visa sevice, after I had overpaid for this service.

I would gladly use your service again and recommend it to friends and family.

ABRIGGS passport services is top notch

I've had to work with Abriggs twice due to tight timing with travels and, in both cases, they got my passport and visas to me with time to spare! The knew about the oddities of individual countries' requirements and also how to make the most efficient use of logistics -- they were truly invaluable to me.

I was weary to use this service due to price, but desperate times right? And they are definitely worth it. I had most everything together already. The day I registered, they answered the few questions I had left and it was in the mail by that afternoon. I got my passport back so quickly, I was confused at first on what they could possibly be sending me. And everything was perfect, no problems. Great help, great service. If I ever back myself into a corner again, I know who to call.
