I completely trust Armed Forces Mutual because of their strong military affiliation. The HQ is on the U.S. Army HQ Post. This wouldn't be permitted unless this was a extremely credible organization.

I have been a member of AAFMAA for 52 years, beginning in 1973. I have experienced the compassion of AAFMAA in ensuring my rights were respected at the death of my first wife in 1998. AAFMAA made sure I was aware of a clause in a policy issued by another insurer that provided me financial compensation in the event my spouse died. Frankly, I did not even know the clause was there but for AAFMAA diligence. My VA disability rating is due SOLELY to AAFMAA looking out for any benefit I was entitled to but did not receive. In this case, upon retirement in 1994 I filed a disability claim with supporting documents (medical records, X-rays, etc.) with the VA. I heard nothing. In 2010 in a review of my file AAFMAA asked about my VA claim. I told them I had heard---nothing. Not a denial, not an acknowledgement, nothing. AAFMAA went to work. The VA admitted it had received the claim, but had, unbelievably, lost it. AAFMAA worked with the DAV to get the claim approved for disability. This is service, pro-active service. You don't come to AAFMAA asking for help; they will come to you and ask if you are receiving your due. Why go anywhere else?

Best price for best products I could find. I've been with them for years and compared them to other companies when I got married for my wife and they won again. Then I compared them when we had kids and they were still the best so here's to the future.

AAFMAA and its employees/counselors are superb! I have been a member for over 15 years and have excellent service, both insurance needs and storage of valuable personal papers and documents. The counselors have guided me and my family through setting our affairs in order in the event of our death. Knowing what to do and how to do it plus the support from AAFMAA has provided me with a sense of security and peace.

I received my annual report. When I review the report I could not determine if my original will was in the vault. I called. They confirmed it was in the vault.

AAFMAA went far beyond what was expected.
My husband, Jerry, who went to be with the Lord in late January, was a researcher. He spent many hours on his computer researching and finding the best deals. When he found AAFMAA’s life insurance policies he was convinced that they were the best and procured one for each of us. In his instructions for after his death, he instructed me to take all payouts from all his life insurance policies and buy more of the same from AAFMAA. I am now thoroughly convinced that this was a very wise decision.
However, the blessing that AAFMAA has been to me did not end there. Jacob who guided me and my sons through the initial process did not stop there. He made sure that I had and completed all necessary paperwork for the Department of Defense and VA. Jacob and Sandra, who guided me through the purchase of the new policies, were invaluable with their many phone calls, patiently answered questions and wise advice.
