Slow settlements
Despite claims that settlements are made within 7 to 10 days, it took 21 days, plus a number of phone calls pleading that we needed to settle the credit card bill. When the cheque finally came it was made out to a different name to that I stated on the claim form.
Customer service was polite but ineffectual, claims dept - hopeless.
I'll be looking elsewhere when its time to renew.

STILL WAITING FOR A CLAIM! We submitted a claim 4 weeks ago and still waiting for the claim, with little communication.
They stated 2 weeks inc fast settlements- we have submitted 3 claims and I can tell you this is not the case.
Me and my wife have £2000 sitting on our credit card and are going to miss payments and incur cards, so this is why we are deeply annoyed.
Avoid!!!
Shockingly bad service and really disappointed
Really disappointed so far. I'd recommend paying the premium for a better company. We waited 4 weeks after making a claim (apparently the wait time was meant to be 2 weeks) all whilst chasing them up, not once did we recieve any form of communication from them. Being that we had to pay for our vets bills up front we struggled with our bills that month and when we were 1 day late paying our monthly payment, we were told they wouldn't even tell us if the claim had been approved until we paid our monthly premium.
Sorry folks but this is the first bad review I've written in my life and I'm 36 years of age. I genuinely hope people get a chance to read this prior to deciding to take an insurance with them. Very doubtful they'll even cover the cost judging from our experience this far.
Affordable pet insurance with excellent customer service
Moved the insurance for our two Spaniels to 4Paws at a third of the annual cost we were paying a major department store / high st supermarket retailer for the same cover level,
Have been with 4Paws for just over a year now and unfortunately have just had cause to make a fairly substantial claim after one of our dogs needed frequent visits to the vet for an acute liver complaint. Thankfully this has now been resolved successfully and shes back to her usual self. Our vet completed the claim form and sent it directly to 4Paws on our behalf. Within a week I received an E-mail from 4Paws confirming that our claim had been assessed and accepted.
Excellent, extremely prompt and certainly in our experience a no quibble customer service that I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone
They took 6 policies out for me instead…
They took 6 policies out for me instead of 3 and then took 6 days of which I was overdrawn on my account to pay me back. I was charged in total over £80 by my bank for this and an overlimit fee. After 9weeks they have offered me £50. Not on. Have had to report them to the Financial Ombardsmen. DO NOT TAKE A POLICY OUT WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS.

We have not dealt with a claim yet - thankfully! Meanwhile, we had to make a payment method change. Before the agent took our card info, she made a point of ensuring the quality control recording was stopped, and told me so. That may seem like a small thing, it's not. I write software to do this stuff, protecting personal information is a HUGE deal. By pausing the recording, their recordings do NOT contain your credit card information. That means that an accidental mishandling of recordings won't compromise your information. This means they are paying attention to the details of how they interact with their customers. And they're doing so in a way that maximizes customer safety. Still hoping to never need to file a claim; but, I'm confident that, this being how they treat us, claims will also be done exceptionally well.

Best money spent on dog
So far, 4Paws Pet Insurance has been the only thing we have bought for our 110 pound dog that he has not been able to chew through, eat, dirty-up, or completely ruin. The monthly premium is affordable and the personnel have been a delight to work with. In less than a year, we have already had to file two separate claims, and 4Paws has been a huge help to us. I would recommend to anyone and everyone- 100%.

Love this company!!!
Love this company. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. Met the Chief Pet Officer at NCSHRM. She put all my cocerns at ease. My pet is pretty old but she said no problem. We have a plan for older pets too. Quote took a few minutes and they have monthly options. Highly recommend!
