I saw that Estevan Oriol (famous photographer from the Cypress Hill/L.A Gang era) was showcasing some of his work at Woodbury house so wanted to pop along and check it out. Lydia was very welcoming even though I didn't have an invitation and took the time to explain the pieces on display. The work was part of a L.A Lineage exhibition alongside other street artists DEFER and Chas Bojorquez, which all complemented each other fabulously. The gallery had a lovely feel to it, every piece on display had a story, and the team (Lydia and Steve) made our afternoon such a pleasant experience. I am a fan of Graffiti, Photography and Street art, and found Woodbury House a brilliant venue to host such a gathering of talent. My wife and I were so impressed that we purchased one of Estevan's original prints, and now are the proud owners of a piece of history. Can't wait for the next exhibit at Woodbury house.

It was amazing to finally see your art gallery after all these years. I was genuinely blown away by how unique and professional it is. The building itself is incredible, the hidden rooms, the layout, all so interesting.

The history and the stories behind the artwork were absolutely mind-blowing, and your knowledge and passion really stood out. It just goes to show, it’s never too late to take an interest in what your friends are building.

Steve is super friendly and knowledgeable and made my first experience of collecting art really enjoyable. You can tell there is a lot care and attention to detail into presenting artists work at the gallery, in particular the Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage exhibition. I can’t recommend Woodbury House enough and look forward to visiting the gallery as soon as I can.

This was my second visit to the gallery and I'm sure there will be more. After enjoying the Blek Le Rat exhibition a few years ago, I went back to see the amazing works by Lee Quiñones.
Lydia gave me a warm welcome, and great insights on some of the art, making the exhibition viewing a personalised experience. The gallery rooms are well laid out, and the central London location makes it perfect for an escape from the hustle and bustle!

From the moment I arrived, Steven personally greeted me which made it feel really welcoming and well put together. My partner (an art collector) introduced me to the events here, and I can definitely see the appeal.

The Los Angeles: A Visual Lineage exhibition was seriously impressive – loads of depth, culture and strong visual storytelling throughout. As someone who works in photography and videography, I really appreciated the detail and creativity behind the pieces. I even ended up making a reel from the day because it was so inspiring.

Loved the classic cars at the entrance too – such a cool touch and a great first impression.

The location is perfect as well, right in the heart of central London.

Overall, really enjoyable experience – friendly, creative and well curated. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been to their Mayfair gallery a number of times for live events to meet the artists as well as for catch-ups with the founder Steve Sulley and his team.

I’ve purchased artworks like Lee Quiñones as a long term play and invested into shorter term strategies. Recently I bought and sold an original artwork and made roughy 33% in less than 2 years.

A rare mix—deep-rooted ethical standards combined with a refreshing, genuinely fun approach to dealing high-quality artwork.

I’d been actively hunting for a good few months. Not just for the right piece, but more importantly, the right people to build a relationship with. That patience paid off in a chance encounter with Sam at Woodbury House. There was something distinctly unique, gratifying—actually, in the way he went out of his way to genuinely help without any agenda of forcing a sale.

Even after starting to engage, it was at least a few months before I eventually purchased. Not a minute in that time did I feel the approach diminish, the standards deteriorate, or the effort disappear. Sam answered questions I didn’t even know I should be asking.

One thing worth noting: I had a relatively unusual request post-transaction—exactly the point when dealer engagement plummets like clockwork. Sam delivered like a champion, no sweat
