I had a hair transplant with Dr Sebastian Deme and his great team at Westminster Medical Group, the whole experience has been excellent from start to finish. I spoke to several different clinics beforehand, but what really stood out to me was being able to meet Dr Deme in person during the initial consultation and understand the options and recommendations specific to my needs. That made a big difference and helped me feel confident in my decision. There was no pushy sales approach at all — just clear, honest advice.

From the consultation through to the operation day, everything was handled with professionalism. Dr Deme and his team explained all the details thoroughly, and I knew exactly what to expect. On the day of the procedure, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the whole team made sure I felt at ease throughout.

The clinic is on Harley Street and has a strong medical team — even the consultants I spoke to were trichologists, not salespeople.

Dr Shaw was honest during the consultation, especially about expectations and what was realistic. He has experience with afro-textured hair, which was important to me and hard to find elsewhere. On surgery day, everything ran smoothly. The team only books one patient per day, and I could tell everyone was focused on the result. I’m now a few days post-op, healing well, and really happy with the hairline. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a UK-based FUE with solid medical backing.

Having a direct conversation with the person who would be performing my procedure made a significant difference, it gave me confidence in the process and allowed me to ask every question I had. Dr. Matt was incredibly thorough in explaining the procedure and the aftercare, and his professional, reassuring approach made it clear this was the right clinic for me.

Now that I’ve had my FUE hair transplant at Westminster Medical Group, I can confidently say I made the right decision. I only have positive things to say about Westminster Medical Group and would highly recommend them. The experience was seamless, and I felt well taken care of throughout. I wanted to share my hair transplant journey so far!
I took the plunge and made the decision to have a hair transplant after months of contemplating it.
After lots of research, I went with Dr. Sebastian Deme from Westminster Medical Group.
His team were absolutely amazing on the day. I am not a fan of needles and this was the only part that was uncomfortable. In all honesty, the injections were not that bad.
The surgery as a whole went really well and I even fell asleep.
I genuinely cannot fault Westminster Medical Group. Even pre-op, Barbara and Theresa were brilliant - I had so many queries and they were prompt in getting back to me immediately.
The post-op instructions provided by Dr. Sebastian were really easy to understand and he answered all of my questions pre-op (I also had a 1-1 with him online couple of months before my surgery).
I will continue to share my journey...watch this space!

From the moment I arrived, I felt secure in the hands of Dr Grahame Shaw and his medical team. The due diligence on the day was incredible - the team patiently waited for my pulse to behave before proceeding. Each step of the process was completed expertly and I was kept informed and well along the way. At the end of the session, the aftercare was thoroughly explained, and I await the results now...Very good medical experience led by Dr Grahame and the clinic is recommended for those considering treatment. As an added bonus, even the movie choice was impressive!

From my initial phone enquiry 8 weeks ago with Debra to having an FUE transplant last week with Dr Sebastian.

The Client Coordinators (Theresa & Debra) & Patient Advisor (Barbara) have all been exceptional, explaining the process, uploading photo's, to organising a Consultation with Dr Sebastian, and at no point was there any pressure to commit.

The day of the procedure could not have gone any better - from the moment I arrived at 09.30am, I was introduced to the team and they put me at ease straight away.
The room is well lit on the second floor with a lot of natural daylight and very modern, having background music helped greatly and by 10.00am they all got to work - with-in a few hours the grafts had been extracted and after a 20-30 minute lunch break, Dr Sebastian completed the procedure with the help of his team / technicians to implement the grafts on the top of my head.

The whole process was smooth, professional, friendly and relaxed.

The pre & post care instructions are very clear and concise and Dr Sebastian verbally went through it with me after the procedure.

I cannot fault the experience and fully understand why they consistently get top reviews.

Finally, a special thank you to Barbara - as I emailed WMG 5 days post op - regarding a query and she responded with-in an hour (evening hours) sorry !!!

Scalp Micropigmentation

Marzena is friendly and effective at her job, results are great, had my crown tattooed which was perfect as I shave my head anyway and that affected area looks a lot denser.

Process isn't painful but not pain free, would describe it as uncomfortable for 1.5hr - 2hr per session over 3-4 sessions. Marzena lets you take breaks and watch TV whilst its happening which helps.

Overall great experience, lovely service from Marzena and effective results.

I came to WMG in 2020 for my first FUE for 1,500 grafts. I was exceptionally well looked after and Dr Richard Rogers was professional and helpful, as were his team. They only operate on one person at a time in a day so I felt really valued. During the recovery/growth/shedding and the regrowth phase, I was anxious throughout but a former team member, James, were quick to alleviate any concerns I had - being on hand with quick responses and tips for maintenance.

Roughly a year or so in, the hairs regrew with full force but I was a bit disappointed that the hairline was not entirely symmetrical around the temples... I don't think it was easily noticeable but I knew it for sure and as did my hairdresser. Didn't think much of it initially but it began to bug me more over time.

Another two years later, my original hairs continued thinning (probably due to dipping in and out of finasteride inconsistently) and I wanted to lower the hairline slightly anyway, so I got in touch with WMG in 2023 to express my concerns around the symmetry issue and to schedule in a corrective & additional procedure.
Barbara, Theresa and Dr Sebastian were both all over it and understood my dissatisfaction, giving me a preferential price on the second op for December 2023. Again, a phenomenal experience and so comfortable throughout. I'm now 13 months in and couldn't be happier with the new result! I'd wholeheartedly recommend WMG to anyone :)

I had a brilliant experience at WMG, and would highly recommend the clinic to others. From my first interaction with WMG via their website, to the speed and quality of interaction from Barbara and Theresa, and my initial Zoom consultation with Dr Shaw. It was clear this was a professional and high quality clinic.

This was actually my second hair transplant after initially having one 6 years ago, so I was of course very conscious of making the right decision - and I definitely did with WMG.

I was immediately at ease on the day of the procedure after spending time talking through the process and my situation (due to my previous transplant) with Dr Shaw and Marzena. They took the time to explain everything in detail, and answer any questions I had. Their professionalism and genuine care was abundantly evident throughout the day. It was also great that we managed to get quite a few more grafts than originally expected!! I ended up with 2,560.

The technicians Thurya, Andrea, and Milena were great too. I did fall asleep during the afternoon so apologise if I was snoring!!

The post op instructions were clear, and the kit provided was helpful. Dr Shaw made sure to check up on me during this time.

I recently had a hair transplant With Dr Grahame at Westminster Medical Group on 5th Nov 2024, and I am now in the second day post op recovery.

Although it is too early to comment on the final results, the process itself from the initial consultation to the procedure was entirely smooth, professional, and exceeded my expectations.

Dr Shaw stood out to me as an incredibly kind and enthusiastic surgeon. He geniunely listenned to my concerns/ ideas when it came to designing a natural looking hairline. And what appealed to me about WMG was that I never felt pressured into making a decision - the entire process was done at my speed.

Dr Shaw and the team were incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the procedure in detail and answer all of my questions. They gave me realistic expectations about the process, including the recovery timeline and the final results. I felt confident from the start that I was in good hands.

The procedure itself was virtually pain-free, I actually fell asleep while the extraction was happening! and although you are sat/ laying in a chair for a long period of time, I felt very comfortable and could watch TV. The team made sure I was never in any pain and always topped up the local anaesthic when I needed

The technicians Thurya, Julie, Andrea and Ridha were also very attentive and kind, checking in on me throughout the procedure to ensure I was doing well.

I was provided clear instructions for achieving the best results post op, and received contact the day after from Dr Shaw to check in on things, which made me feel very reassured that my treatment didn't end once I left the clinic and it would continue throughout the healing process.

The initial consultation was very useful, the doctor discussed my motivations, current hair loss drug usage, what to expect, etc and it felt like he had my best interests at heart rather than trying to push me to go forward with the surgery.
The surgery itself took pretty much an entire day but was fairly straightforward. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. The surgery theatre is clean and well maintained. The initial anaesthetic injections on the back of my head (donor area) were very painful, but after that the entire procedure was completely painless. I was on the larger end for total grafts with approx 2650 new follicles implanted.
Post surgery you’re sent home with a booklet containing care instructions for the next few weeks and what to expect as well as the necessary drugs & products.
My recovery in the 2 weeks post procedure has gone well. I had significant swelling that started a few days after the procedure that started on my forehead and travelled as far down as my cheeks so fair warning you will possibly need to around a week to recover. Since then I’ve returned to normal and the scabs have started to shed. Both the donor and recipient areas are healing well and there doesn’t look to be any scarring.
I would definitely recommend WMG to anyone looking to get a transplant and advise to book a consultation to discuss your options.
