Loved my new Ray Bans

Loved my new Ray Bans, great price and delivered on time. Was gutted when I sat on them and broke the arms off. I emailed them to see if they could help me find replacement arms and they were so incredibly helpful. The new arms fitted perfectly and saved the Rays!!

Where is my delivery?

Placed order on the evening of the 3rd October & still waiting for delivery.
Poor service & no communication.
Still waiting.
This morning, finally some communication from this shambolic Company.
They explain that the manufacturer has advided that unfortunately there will be a delay in my order!!!! What a load of bull.....
Advertising products not in stock promising delivery with 1-10 working days. Lies, lies, lies.
Buyers avoid this Company & seller.
Run a business, they couldn't run a bath.......

No problem at all

Poor communication.

No response yet about my returns. Poor communication.

Im nervous about using a company I have never heard of before and have no assurance of them receiving my email does not help. All other retailers do this with an automatic reply and an estimate of response time .

I am not sure how big this company is but I do have my emails to them with date and proof of sending. I want to return before the expiry date for returns but even so i know i have contacted them within delivery date so have a copy for the delivery tracking so will follow this up if theres any disputes.

If it is a genuine poor comms business then they need to sharpen this up as their reviews here are so bad . I had to look up as i was curious to know anyone else experience when i had doubts fed up from waiting, that it makes customers nervous about using them ever again.

no response seems like they don't respect your money and time.

I am currently looking up their business details encase i need to take legal action.

Will update with how the returns process goes. Spent £300 and unhappy about their service. If companies like this havent understood yet, quality postage time returns policy is part of a successful return custom. At this point I dont trust their security, especially of these people who have my bank details.

i will be making sure i documents with video and photos carefully the parcel being packaged and the goods in perfect condition on the day that DHL collects to be sure there is evidence and tampering.

Hopefully I will get a returns request promptly on the way. Heres hoping but will let my bank know in the morning to make a case if i dont hear anything tomorrow that they will take action.

I will change this review and star rating if and when something positive changes.

Further UPDATE 23 July 2018

They have responded below but not to any of my complaint emails but The return is now being processed .

It’s sad and unfortunate as I was referred by a friend initially. I have given an extra star back only because their DHL courier collected my item today and this service is at least impeccable and reliable as DHL is worldwide known.

My reply is below concerning their response on this forum.

As they don’t seem to give respect to customers to reply to the actual emails sent they have forced me to do this publicly instead.

I contest ‘Middle of the night’? I sent consecutive emails on different days.

Regardless of the time I sent the emails it was during GMT times that would mean 24 hours had passed for each of those days so enough time for someone to have responsded. I would not have minded the wait but at least set an automatic reply response so we understand the process as a customer.

Rather than apologize for a slow response which would have changed this review immediately instead you patronize me on here , which has made me even more upset and bewildered by the lack of care you have for the responsbility you have of people’s money. I have proof of all emails sent and calls attempted made to your landline provided on your website .

Nervous? because if customers have to go to other customers to find out how the process is usually, for their own assurance because they couldn’t reach through to you, then of course I’m unapologetically nervous about my money. How dare you throw that back in my face in quotations marks ‘nervous ‘.

I have not used your company before and I understand that risk ordering from overseas stock and I was genuinely excited to use your service.

I do not appreciate the customer response style this company has. If you want to get defensive that’s fine but if any feedback is to be warranted that approach is useless for professionality.

It might be a coincidence that the request for returns response came right after my complaint emails, I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt , but due to the character of your reply on this forum I will remain on the fence.

Ironically I am still ‘nervous’ about receiving a refund after The facetitious response here. I would have respected some acknowlegent in an actual email if you wanted to defend the company And to try matter of why they were returned.

What’s actually made me more mad is that you are accusing me of lying.

I won’t assume you have a complaints department worth contacting if that’s the behaviour that I am to expect.

Anyone returning items I would recommend documenting everything in writing.

Its a shame they have responded this way rather than think about the customers position.

I hope others below with similar feelings have been served better.

On a side note this complaint has had nothing to do with their quality of products if I have to be fair. It arrived boxed well and in a DHL bag . The wait times are stated on the website which was fine for me.
I do believe I would have kept one pair of glasses had they looked the same as the image on the website and the other unfortunately did not fit.

They could have easily responded with a reason of the wait and inquired about my experience and I would have approached my review with compassion and charged it further. This is the worst review I’ve ever had to make due to customer service. My friend had a good experience but she kept her goods so I can’t speak for if you have problems other than my own.

Sorry this has been a long read but when you are ignored and disrespected needs must.

Only because of thei quality DHL service would I recommend using them and you know that the sunglasses you chose are definitely what you want or have seen and tried on elsewhere.

their company seems to have 9 employees if their records are correct so confused why it would take so long to see my email request by now.

I also have alternative contact details for them if anyone wants research their company name SOLGADE.

received my sunglasses within 2 days…

received my sunglasses within 2 days great 5 stars... But the style didn't suit me not their fault. they offer a free returns policy.. But order didn't come with returns labels and you've got to contact them which is impossible.. Nobody answers my phone calls 65 made so far. Nobody replies to my emails 12 written so far.
Their whats app number they give on their website is redundant as the messages do not go through... A bogus Sham of a returns policy

Lied, said discontinued yet brand new design!

So I order a pair of Oakley Holbrook Mix that are a brand new design this year, After chasing to confirm that my order was on time I was told that these sunglasses had been discontinued? Really? a design that had only been available for a couple of months? So, I cancelled my order and reordered direct from Oakley who delivered within 3 days . Don't trust these people

The glasses for this order was in fact in the manufacturing process and not discontinued as advised which was the reason we were unable to send the glasses in the time frame and were advised and provided with another options as per our delivery conditions. You chose to cancel the order and refund was processed swiftly. We are happy to say that that the majority of our customers are satisfied with our service and are sorry that your expectations were not met on this occasion.

Customer care?!? Not here!!!

I ordered two pairs of sunglasses both with sign ‘Available’, waited patiently 10 working days, nothing happened. Wrote to them, no answer; wrote again on WhatsApp No, no answer besides the automatical one. So now I don’t know if I will ever receive my order or if I will get a refund... I could only guessing that the sunglasses might have been strangely sold out and new will be ordered for me, but what stops them from notifying me, the CUSTOMER, about the delay?
Bad service, awful customer care!

Do not use! I ordered a pair of sunglasses with a ten day delivery wait (absolutely fine) no further communication until I got in touch with them to ask where my glasses were as it was approaching the tenth business day and still no word from them or a courier. I was then told that they’d sent me an email over WhatsApp and didn’t tell me any further information - I received no such email! Until they finally sent it and advised that they hadn’t sent it from their end, the email advised my glasses wouldn’t be delivered due to an issue with the supplier and offered me an alternative or a wait (either no good). Only good thing I can say is how they sent me a refund confirmation - will always order with sunglasses-shop from now on, way better experience!

Just to clarify that an email was sent to you on the same day that we spoke to you over Whatsapp and it was within a matter of minutes that we realised that the message was not sent and this was rectified. We are human beings working very hard to meet the demands of our customers, mistakes can be made but are rectified as soon as possible. We are pleased that the majority of our customers are in fact satisfied service. Once again we apologise that you were inconvenienced.

Ordered glasses on 23/04/18 for my…

Ordered glasses on 23/04/18 for my wife's birthday.(after 3pm which for withsunglasses is the end of the working day)contacted them on the 25/05/18 to ask if they will be delivered by the 27th which was my wifes birthday.i was told no it will take 10 business days and offered a refund or different style of glasses. So in other words when it says avaliable on the website,they don't have them they have to order them.WHY NOT JUST SAY 1 TO 10 DAYS instead of avaliable.if I sell a car online and says it's avaliable and someone buys it I can't then go back to them and say I've had to order it so you'll have to wait 10 business days. The 4th of May was the 9th business day so I assumed they would be out for delivery in order for me to receive them on Tuesday after the bank holiday.i emailed them twice to inquire if that was the case as I've heard nothing to suggest they will be delayed(as they state in their delivery terms) and I've had no response whatsoever. So I can safely say I my wife won't be getting her glasses by Tuesday next week and I'm going to have to contact them yet again to find out what us going on.so in summary if the glasses on the website say a avaliable buy them somewhere else because you'll be waiting for who knows how long to get them from these people and the customer service is shocking at best.roll on the excuses.this should be fun.
Tuedays 8th may. Cancelled the order after several more emails to find out what was going on.apparently they should get them by the end of this week. I would trust them as far as I could kick them.total disappointment never use again.

Just to be clear. I accept your terms of delivery and I accounted for the bank holidays and weekend. The expected delivery date was 8th of May not 9th.order after 3pm on the 23rd so you had 10full days upto the 8th of may.YOU DID NOT contact me once to let me know there was a delay.it was only after several emails that you responded.in the last email you stated you were expecting the glasses by the end of the week.YOU DID NOT say they will be delivered to me by the end of the week.
You website is not clear AVAILABLE is not 1 to 10 days just change it and say 1 to 10 days.what is wrong with you people??? How many times will people give you bad reviews because you just can't be upfront and clear. Stop stating your delivery terms and make it plain obvious that you don't have certain glasses and you will have to order them. If they are going to be late then stick by your MUCH QUOTED DELIVERY TERMS and have the decency to let your customers know what is going on. You have NO argument at all. You are wrong and your customer service and delivery terms are ridiculous.
ORDER FROM EDEL OPTICS YESTARDAY 8th may AND COMING TODAY 9th may. £10 more expensive but at least you'll get them. It aint rocket science.change your name to "WITHOUTSUNGLASSES.CO.UK"

The delivery time for this order was up to 10 working days which means that the final date for delivery was today 09/05/2018 (please remember to exclude bank holidays). Our delivery conditions provides further information regarding delivery times and states,
'... on occasions situations will arise that fall outside of our control where we are unable to deliver the item to you. We will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative pair of sunglasses or advise that we will cancel the order and provide you with a full refund.'

As advised in our email correspondence, the glasses would be delivered this week as there had been a slight delay from the manufacturer and you would have received the glasses before the end of the week.

We are happy that we the majority of our customers are satisfied and are sorry that your experience with us was not the same.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Was told my sunglasses would be delivered in ten working days then sent email on the day they were due to be delivered to say I need to wait another ten working days! Was only told this after chasing.

Really slow so far with no…

Really slow so far with no communication. Placed the order on the 15th of April and it's the 21st now. Zero communication and nothing has shipped.

As you can see from the response to this review below, this company is incredibly defensive. Rather than accepting that a 10 working day delivery is not acceptable in a world where we expect Amazon style service and delivery they point to their terms and conditions.

Actually, they need to make it very clear to customers on checkout that it will be 10 working days else it will continue to be a cause of frustration and negative reviews.

Withsunglasses need to recognise this is a real pain point for customers and something they need to show some humility around.

Absolutely disappointing

Absolutely disappointing, I am waiting for my glasses 20 days, and still no one can tell me when I will have them delivered! They put glasses on sale, which are out of stock, take money in front and ask you to wait.

I ordered my sunglasses on the 5th of March I didn’t receive them till the 26th of March even though it says on there website 10day delivery I then emailed them to see what’s going on got a reply saying I can either wait till they get to me, change to a smaller size which would of never fitted or have a refund. I didn’t get offered no compensation for the extra 11day wait .. other then that glasses are good just the rest let’s them down.. my advice either get the ones that are 24 hour available or be prepared for a long wait .. they replied saying that I made direct changes with there delivery company dhl which I didn’t do ... I would not recommend them now at all

To clarify, your order was made after 3pm on 5/03/2018 and therefore was not processed until the following day. We advised you of the possibility of this order being late and provided you with alternative options and you chose to leave your order as it was. The order was sent out for a next working day delivery - 2 days after the final delivery time, however because you made changes directly with DHL the delivery time delayed.

Our delivery information can easily be found on the first page of our website and at the footer of every page and states '...occasions situations will arise that fall outside of our control where we are unable to deliver the item to you. We will contact you as soon as possible to offer an alternative pair of sunglasses or advise that we will cancel the order and provide you with a full refund.'

Poor communication

After reading positive reviews I decided to purchase a set of glasses. The delivery was two weeks. After this time they did not arrive so I emailed them to be told I would have to wait another two weeks. That time passed; no communication, so I've emailed them again to be told another twenty days. Poor communication has let them down. Refund requested, would not use again or recommend. Very, very poor.
In response to your comments ... you didn't contact me once; you responded to my emails but not once did you email me to inform me of the delay. You say I didn't email you to sort the cancellation ; why would I not contact you about a pair of glasses that cost £135? I did email you Friday to cancel and strangely enough ... after six weeks they will be here tomorrow.
