Local company to me , which meant that any snags and they were at hand (and eager) to sort it out . Not the cheapest quote I got but it was a no hidden extra type. They even saved me money by only selling me what I needed. I was up and running ahead of schedule and I’m very happy with the quality of the work. If I had a question it was promptly answered in a way I could understand.

I had a solar assisted heat pump installed in January 2023 at a cost of £7,000. The system fitted was made by a company called SAHP. I reported a fault with my system and was advised that this company has ceased trading and therefore my 5 year guarantee has gone out the window. As my system is now two and a half years old it is outside the Wisegreen two year workmanship warranty. After 10 days the system suddenly started working again but I check it every day with trepidation waiting to see if my money is down the drain.

We chose WGE to supply our renewable energy system as they are a family run business, and we felt comfortable with their knowledge and expertise. We had quotes from other suppliers, 3 local and one national company, however we chose WGE as the team gave us confidence in their knowledge. It was a smooth installation from start to finish, informative and helpful design options and a competitive price. We added a battery and a A2A heat unit for our open plan areas and WGE explained it would provide cooling on hot days as well as heating. Once installed we moved to Octopus and they export to the grid at peak times so we get a high export credit and the batteries are then topped up at night on a low rate so we are saving ££’s on our electricity bills. We would have no hesitation in recommending WGE, we are delighted.

Very straight forward process with Wise Green Energy - after paying my deposit, surveys were carried out, equipment was then ordered. I was kept up to date with timings - which didn't slip.

The scaffolders arrived when expected, talked me through what they were going to do - I asked if they could ensure that a car could be parked in the car port, which they did.

The roofers - two outstanding guys who went the extra mile. Did a superb job - everything left clean and tidy. Then when the electricians arrived - again went the extra mile - overall all of the guys delivering the installation were friendly and caring, would highly recommend. Installation was done quickly, with all rubbish taken away.

Wise Green Energy provides decent solar solutions, but I encountered minor frustrations despite their professional approach. Communication and installation were generally smooth, and the team showed good expertise. However, their service didn’t exceed expectations, and pricing felt average. While the results are satisfactory, I’d suggest exploring other options before committing. Overall, an okay experience.

I recently had Solar panels installed by Wisegreen. From start to finish the team, Daniel, Jamie, Jack and Brad, were efficient and professional. They arrived on time and kept me informed explaining each step and answering any questions I had. They were pleasant, friendly and tidied up before they left. Simon the managing director of this family run company spent a lot of time with me explaining how everything works, supported with diagrams and photos. No hard sell, no pressure, pure and simple explanation of the advantages of having solar panels installed.

Great Service, great products, local, friendly and helpful - and at a very competitive price for high quality materials. I have just had Wise Green supply and fit 12 solar panels, inverter and battery. Full details, clearly explained were provided by project manager Grant. The attention to detail and communication from Jack and Jay who did the fitting was impressive. Wise green also fitted a heat exchanger for me five years ago - with the same high quality experience and it still works and delivers all my hot water for free! Highly recommended

The team is entirely made up of local folks who are passionate about solar energy. We liked how informed they were and how they helped us get our heads around moving forward with solar. Everyone from the first visit and assessment to the installation was professional and truly lovely. It was a very honest operation with a very transparent process.

This is a great company. They previously installed my solar array and have now installed a storage battery for load shifting. The guys were so friendly and did a great and tidy installation. As newbies to the solar panel world, we very happy to work with a local and family run business who were available and approachable to help us understand the process and help with any concerns we might have. We were pleased with the time Simon spent assessing what would be our best option and felt that we were given good advice. The work of the roofing company Wise Green use to fit the panels has been exemplary. We liked the fact that our reroofing and solar panel installation could be done by the same team .We were also impressed with electricians work. They were able to run the main cables up through the cavity wall so no cables were exposed on the facing wall. Super. The panels themselves along with the inverter and fittings look very smart. After asking 7 or 8 companies for a quote, Simon was the only one prepared to actually visit my home. All the others just told me what I needed over email using Google Maps! He came round and provided me with all the necessary information, answered all my questions in very understandable non-technical English for a novice like myself. He explained that although he wouldn't be the cheapest, his workforce and materials used were always first and foremost in making the company what it is today. There was no hard sell attempt , and even paid a second visit when my wife was able to be there. After choosing Wisegreen, we had both solar panels and a solar assisted heat pump installed. The whole process was handled by a project manager (Grant), and the only hiccup was a damaged part that wasn't discovered until unpacking, but was reordered and installed less than a week later.
All the staff from the Roofer's to the Plumber's to the Electrician's, and even the Scaffolder's were polite, clean and tidy and left no mess at all behind when they left. Overall a very good experience.

A superb family run company to work with. I elected to install solar panels, with a battery storage system and will be soon following up with an Air Source Heat Pump to complete the suite. At every step of the way I was kept informed of progress by a dedicated project manager and every timeline was met. We are very happy with our givenergy battery, something we have wanted to do for awhile. After lots of research we chose wise green, Simon came and discussed with us what our choices were. Wise green are local have someone on the end of the phone. Bradley and his mate were a delight to have here and did a very neat and tidy job.

Wise Green Technical sales (Elton) arrived on time as planned and talked us through which system was best for us. He answered my many questions politely and concisely with no hard sell/special-offers-on-the-day at all.
Their staff and external contractors all arrived on site over the install period days on time and with all the materials needed for a smooth job through to completion. (It's taken longer to get a smart meter installed than this whole job!) Other Solar installers take note - this is how it should be done - this project has restored my faith in local workmanship. No problem in recommending them to other prospective clients.
