Let me start by saying I've never had an issue with windy city. They're a great company, but I don't smoke a lot, but I do get a 5 pound bag so that I'm not spending a lot of money on a 1 pound bag and So at this time , I got through two thirds of a turkish silver ohm and the rest was dust. Try calling. The company pushed one and got extremely rude. Extremely unprofessional, gentlemen that suggested to me instead of ordering 5 pound bag that I just need to go ahead and order 1 pound bags. So now i'm going to think about using a different company than because ohm is it international brand so I would say, think how you talk to your customers.I've been with city for more than 2 years now.Great products , great company p*** for customer service

Regarding your order, it is unfortunately outside our 30-day return and claim window, which limits our ability to process a replacement or formal claim. However, based on your feedback, we have gone ahead and shared this issue with the manufacturer for further review.
As for the suggestion of 1 lb bags, it was intended to help avoid the compression that can sometimes occur in larger 5 lb bags, which may lead to more tobacco dust over time due to the weight. We do apologize if this recommendation or the way it was communicated came across poorly.

The product is amazing,.. but
The product is amazing. The shipping costs are far too high. And the person that answers the phone every time I've called doesn't have full knowledge of your extensive products.. I asked him how many cigarettes a 5 lb bag makes and he said only 400.. I am now on my 800 cigarette and have half the bag left,.. but I think the tobacco tastes great and the little machine I bought works well.. it's the little plastic $4 machine.. I did want to buy a more expensive one but again the man that answers the phone can't really go into detail. Told me to watch the YouTube videos. I would prefer his extensive knowledge on the product and explain it to me.. I'm not sure if he's the only one that answers the phone?

As for shipping, once an order has been dispatched, it is handled by the carrier, and unfortunately, we have limited control over transit times or delays. That said, we are always working with our shipping partners to improve delivery speed and reliability.

Windy City cigars does it right!
I’ve been ordering from Windy City cigars for two years. I have had one issue with an order. They called me up and told me that they wouldn’t have the tobacco in until the next day. That is the kind of company you want to do business they have the decency people don’t do that anymore big thumbs up to these people. I order tobacco and it’s always been fresh. I order tubes for smoking pipe tobacco never been damaged. I packed the box really well thumbs up for these guys. I know what they’re doing.

I have purchased my monthly RYO…
I have purchased my monthly RYO supplies from Windy City Cigars several times and have generally been happy with the quality of the products, care taken to protect them during shipping, and the shipping times. I was disappointed on my most recent order to find the 1 lb. bag of The Good Stuff Memthol tobacco I received was already open because the zip lock strip at the top was no longer attached to one side of the bag more than half way down the strip, which would have required using some type of glue to re-attach, and I wasn't willing to contaminate an entire pound of tobacco with the fumes and toxins in glue that would be stron- enough to hold the zip lock strip in place through a month's worth of opening and closing the bag. This wouldn't have been that big of a deal except it meant I had to dump the tobacco into a large pickle jar to rehydrate it a bit and keep it somewhat fresh. This made it very difficult for me to roll all month because I don't have a fancy automatic injector machine, I still use a hand roller machine, and I'm not able to prepare a large amount of tobacco at a time because I live in one of the hottest, driest places in the US and even if a keep it in doubled ZipLock bags, the tobacco is too dry to roll within 6 hours and just turns into powder. I usually take a pinch out of the the 1 lb bag with enough to roll 2 smokes each time. The problem was, in order to screw the lid on the jar tight enough to prevent the tobacco from drying out after each time I opening it, I have a health condition that causes my arm strength and hand grip to not always work the way I want them to, and several times I wasn't able to unscrew the lid for 2-3 days until my hand/arm strength returned. I learned my lesson though, I need to invest in some large, durable, reuasable, easy to seal/unseal, airtight storage bags so I don't have to go through the same experience again. But the second week the tobacco was so dry it was too powdery to roll and I ended up throwing away about 2/3 of the 1 lb bag I bought. Today its time for me to place my monthly restock order, and after this last month, I going to try out a few other options online and hope I receive products worth paying for.
