I am deeply disappointed with the service and lack of transparency from Windup Watch Shop. I placed an order for a watch on August 11th. At the time of purchase, the item was indicated as in stock, and I paid extra for 2-day express shipping with the expectation of receiving it by August 19th. I was even issued a tracking number for the shipment.Today is August 19th—the day it was supposed to arrive—and the watch is not here. When I followed up on the status, it turned out that the shop does not actually have the item in stock.Processing a customer's payment, issuing a tracking number, and promising a delivery date for an item you do not physically possess is completely unacceptable business practice. Selling "ghost stock" and taking express shipping fees without delivering is incredibly misleading. I will not be purchasing from them again.

I ordered the Hexagon Watch Tube (3 watches). I hate giving businesses bad reviews as small business owner myself, but I thought this needed to be brought to the business's and potential consumers' attention. The Tube fell apart immediately after i took it out of the box. its held together by glue, rather than being woven in, nailed, stapled, etc. It felt very cheaply made. I was traveling with 3 watches worth nearly $20k a piece, and while I see the potential for this product, particularly the rigid construction, I wouldn't trust this particular product to protect some of my favorite time pieces. I do appreciate how quick they were to issue me the return label and refund. 5 stars for customer service - 2 stars for a poor product.

I have made several purchases from them, always fast shipping and great service. This last time, I accidentally preordered two of something I only wanted one of, and didn’t notice for several days. I sent one email and it was resolved in minutes. Great customer service

Catastrophic customer experience. I ordered a watch, provided all necessary information, was then informed that it was returned without any explanation as to why this happened and asked whether I wanted it sent again. I replied within 20 minutes that I did want it resent and asked why it had been returned and was then informed that it was sold and is now out of stock. Super unpleasant and not helpful in the slightest. I'll amend this review if they redeem themselves.

Never got the watch because they don't actually track any inventory...despite me asking them if there are any issues, they said there were none and a week later they tell me its out of stock. Offering me another model which was also out of stock. Waste of time, not a serious watch enthusiast shop or professional.

I bought a vintage Omega on Windup watch website a few months ago.
The watch stopped working (the crown doesn’t engage, I can’t set the time ) 2 months later.
Their warranty is only one month (which is on me for not seeing when I purchased), and I am now being told that it was on me to properly maintain my watch. I can understand that old watches might need more love, but having a problem 2 months after purchase can’t be put on me.

The watch is supposed to have been serviced by them, most maintenance come with a warranty longer than a month, all this doesn’t look serious at all.
Exactly the type of experience you don’t want when you are buying from a well established shop.
