Terrible terrible terrible !!! After seeing their reviews and fees they charge to cancel after 2 days of cover they are going to charge 60% of premium .
Also as i had Classic insurance i had no acrued no claims and i had put one year they wanted to charge plus 120% extra.
Rip off , just dont sign up , avoid at all costs.

Absolutely disgusting, this company should be avoided at all cost. Do not buy any product with this company. I wanted to cancel a policy I took out 12 hours earlier and paid in full for the year and got charged £41 for the privilege. Admin fee apparently for something that had never been processed fully within the time frame. Had an annoying conversation in which the manager clarified that I had to pay the admin fee. Ripped off and I am fuming. I feel I have been mugged. Shop else where for your policies, cheaper is not always the best as I have found out.

Absolutely terrible experience with Wicked Quote. They charged me a £41 cancellation fee for something that was not my fault.

During the quote process, I did not select the "Overnight Storage – Locked Garage at SW19 2SZ" option, yet they insisted that I had. Instead of acknowledging that there may have been an error, they cancelled my policy and charged me £41.

The customer service was unhelpful and unwilling to investigate what had happened. I felt like I was blamed for an issue I did not cause and was forced to pay a cancellation fee without any fair justification.

I would not recommend Wicked Quote to anyone. If a mistake occurs during the application process, don't expect them to take responsibility or treat you fairly. Very disappointing service and a complete waste of time and money.

I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this company my partner took out a policy at around 5:30pm yesterday and he had to cancel due to not understanding about how the no claims bonus worked it has now been cancelled and they are not refunding the first one off fee of £65.03 which he paid upfront and they were also trying to get more money off him for the cancellation on top of the £65.03 he tried cancelling the policy right after taking it out but they were closed but they stated on the phone today that it wouldn’t of made any difference and he would still of been charged absolutely disgusting taking that much money for less than 24 hours he will be taking this matter further to the financial ombudsman

Took out a policy then realized my renewal was a multi cover and so the price with my original insurer was fine and so less than 12 hrs after taking out the policy I called them to cancel.
Was told to do so I would incur a £50 fee.
The policy wasn't due to start for another 7 days and so they have done nothing admin wise and are a complete cowboy outfit.
I have referred the matter to my solicitor to get my money back.

One of the worst insurers I have ever dealt. Stay away at all costs. I had accidentally applied for insurance because the gocompare notified me that is due. My insurance was about to start in 7 days. Not started yet. So, I insured my motorbike on Sunday and Monday I realised there was a misinformation from Gocompare, my insurance is still valid for another two months. I called straight away to cancel and they keep 50£ of my money for a product that I didn't buy. Certainly I will seek advice on citizens advice bureau and acas and claim legally my money. Already reported to Acas and finance ombudsman.
Yes you can keep policies like this and you will end up closing down. You know deep down it's not ethical. It's a steal, a scam, a fraud, but you call it policy. Nobody should pay for services or products that didn't buy. (You had no work done in my case because you always asking for no claim bonus, etc before you validate the insurance).

Cheap prices but very full on with their huge penalties and fines if you get anything mildly wrong.obviously just a broker with series of agents working out of their mums front room.i think their business plan is to make more money out of the fines than actually providing bike insurance.stay away.

I'm a 19-year-old student and received what appeared to be a very competitive quote. I proceeded through the full purchase process, including authorising a payment of £3,148.06 — a significant amount of money.
Shortly afterwards, I received a message stating that the policy "did not convert" due to a system error and that the cover was not something they could actually offer. When I called at 9am, I was informed there had been an issue with "false quotes" being generated and that this had already been brought to their attention. Although I was told the payment was not taken, the £3,148.06 was placed on hold with my bank, leaving a large sum temporarily unavailable. Allowing customers to authorise substantial payments on quotes that cannot actually be honoured is extremely concerning and undermines confidence in the quoting system.
Quotes should not be presented if they cannot genuinely be offered.

Stay clear of the initial first competitive price

I took out a fully comp policy on my motorcycle, and after I paid I was presented with unreasonable terms. Basically I'm not allowed to leave my motorbike anywhere except my home garage, so if I go on a trip or stay at a friend's house, hotel etc, I'm not covered for theft!

People like to use their motorbikes, that's what they're for, yet this company seems to think that we should have to stay at home all the time.

Anyhow, as the policy doesn't start for a few weeks, I decided to cancel and get a full refund. It clearly states on their site that I am entitled to a full refund if the policy hasn't commenced, yet when I cancelled they charged me £40, and flat out refused to cancel if I didn't pay.

I had no choice but to pay as I needed to cancel the policy, and will now have to pursue my complaint via the FOS. What a lousy company, they are cheap for a reason and I recommend to avoid at all costs.
