Avoid!! I’ve never known an online whisky auction to add reserves to lots midway through an auction and after bids have been placed, but these guys do it on several lots at every auction. They also advertise a ‘proxy’ system for incremental bidding, but this does not apply, the maximum bid you place on a lot will immediately become the actual bid on that lot. It’s a very dodgy online whisky auction, not to mention dishonest and compared to others, it’s very poor. Best avoided.

Each month the auction has a fabulous selection of whiskies especially if you are after an unusual Cadenheads, Japanese or Springbank bottlings. If you have any questions about any of the bottles there is always expert advice available.

I have only recently discovered this auction site. I have consistently found Whiskysauction to be straightforward and reliable. I look forward to them growing within what can be a cluttered market.

As a new site they have room for improvement, but are attentive and responsive.

They have been amazing throughout. I had a small collection of rare malts that I had decided to sell, I sent them an email along with photos of my bottles. A couple of hours later I received prices for all of my bottles, I was very happy with their prices and took my bottles to their shop.
I decided to sell my bottles through their auctions. The advice they have given throughout the whole process has been excellent, if I asked a question they would respond quickly. When bottles sold I received the payments quickly. I cannot thank everyone enough for the excellent service throughout the whole process.
