My wife purchased a David Yurman Wheat…
My wife purchased a David Yurman Wheat Bracelet from Bloomingdale's for over $4,000 as a Christmas gift. From the very beginning, the bracelet repeatedly fell off due to what appeared to be a poorly designed clasp. After nearly losing it multiple times, I returned it to Bloomingdale's, and it was sent back to David Yurman for repair.
When I received the bracelet back, I trusted that the issue had been corrected. Unfortunately, the clasp failed again, the bracelet fell off, and this time it was lost.
What is most disappointing is not only the apparent defect, but the complete lack of accountability from both David Yurman and Bloomingdale's. The problem was reported, documented, and supposedly repaired before the loss occurred. Yet neither company has been willing to take any responsibility or offer a reasonable resolution.
For a luxury brand commanding premium prices, I expected far better product quality and customer service. My experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I would think twice before purchasing another David Yurman product.
