I have 5 payments pending. The first one requested on the14th
August!!! I've had one email back after sending 3 with a lot of excuses. Shame, it use to be good. Seems like they owe a lot of people money.

From what was once a great app for earning a bit of extra money to an app that won’t pay out and has stopped posting videos you can earn from.
After weeks of waiting for my cash to be paid out I’ve now written it off and deleted my account.

WeAre8 are in financial trouble, they are currently trying to raise capital but are struggling to do so. This is why payments are not going through.

When they started, they were great and now they refuse to pay out (it's been 2 months)

This app used to be really good now my payout has been pending nearly 3 months and you can’t get in contact with them or any updates

I have been using this app for a few years but suddenly, like many others, no payments are being processed. It appears that this has been an issue for a few months. They know who is owed money and they could email everyone with an explanation. But they haven't which implies to me that they have financial problems. It's a shame because it was a good idea but I won't be hanging around much longer

Clearly something has gone awry with this organisation because payments have completely dried up. I made requests on the 29th Sept & 14th Oct & will make another in a few days for my remaining ‘cash’. I still get a couple of ads a day to view but don’t bother anymore because there’s little or no chance I’ll ever reap the rewards. The concept of weAre8 was & is good but even Rio Ferdinand who was appearing virtually every week with a new post has disappeared then clearly all is not good so I’ve accepted all good things must come to and & this has.

Joke of an app. Used to be OK now get hardly any ads and takes months and months to get payment. Support staff are useless also. Wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business..

Just rubbish.
I requested payouts in September, two months later nothing.
They sent me an email stating that they are working on getting an investment, lol. If you don't have money to pay customers what you promise but you're continuing business like nothing happens - it's just a scam.
It was really great app, I got total over £150 in payouts, but reading the comments it looks like it's over now.

When I first started using this platform years ago it was great at paying out swiftly and there were always plenty of ads to watch.
Things have gone downhill massively - it takes in excess of a month to get the pennies you earn from watching.
I have been waiting well over a month for a more sizeable payout (when you apply for a payout it still says 3-5 days) This seems a common theme looking at other reviews.
After getting in touch, I was given a sob story about how they have to cover payments themselves and are working to get new investment and it’s taking longer than expected…..still no concrete answer on when I will get my money….
Reading between the lines (and reading other reviews) it sounds like the company are having ‘difficulties’.
I would definitely not sign up now and have stopped watching videos. App will be deleted once I’ve received my payment….though I’m not holding out much hope.

I have waited months on my payout with still no sign of it ? So instead of wasting the life span of my iPhone battery on watching videos I don’t get paid for I will just take the loss and delete the app. WeAre8 was good at the start but it’s went downhill and the advertising videos became repetitive if you got any at all and you’re lucky if you receive a payment to your PayPal account for watching them. “ App Now Deleted “

Used to be a good site now the app crashes everyday no more videos waiting on payments for 2 months now when they declare you will receive payment in 3 to 5 working days has become a nuisance

It's a scam. Been with for 9 months and requested 4 payments, received none. Just keeping getting there is a delay, your payment is in a quey to be processed. Scam scam scam

2 months in to waiting for my payout, my wife the same. We requested the money with the intent of using the money for our wedding within 2 weeks of when we needed it, assuming the payout date was still 5 days as advertised. Should have looked at the reviews first.

Have stopped viewing videos now because what’s the point. Shame, it was always a good way of saving for Christmas in years past.

When I first started using this app it was great requests for payments to PayPal were made within 3/5 days with lots of videos over the last year videos are more scarce and when it come to them paying out it takes months and constantly changing them for updates

It is now two months since I ask for a cash out.still showing as pending.do the companies that advertise with you know you are not paying out.

Waited now 6 weeks and my PayPal is still showing as pending on the app. Have emailed to support only to be told there is a delay but don’t tell you when it will be resolved or what the delay is. Would strongly recommend staying clear and someone should be investigating where this money has gone

Used to be a good app but lately has went down hill no adds or payments.payment request still pending for nearly 10 weeks now.

This app is truly awful. I would avoid at all costs. It proclaims to pay you for watching ads. And says it will pay your cash out in 3-5 working days. It has been 2 months for me and they haven’t paid. No response from support request. The next step is trading standards for me.
