Failed deliveries and 5 prices changes within a month
Title says it all.
Missed deliveries, no contact. Asked for a manager call back yesterday. Stiil waiting. We will cancel our direct debit. Id rather you collect the fuel than deal with a company like this. No communication, no replies to my emails and now no return phone call.
But a member of staff did call to ask if we wanted a delivery... even though we were waiting on one that was missed.
I understand the market is difficult, but you missed a delivery at 1.22 per litre, changed the price, higher, again and still missed another delivery then added to the price even after a phone call leaving a voicemail with a different price. Can anyone keep up with this facade, I certainly can't.

A saga of mistakes by Watson, and a justifiable reason I think.not to accept what they say.
We were a Monthly Payment Scheme customer for probably 20 yrs+. Generally we were satisfied until a statement was received in Jan 26 which debited our A/c for an oil delivery which we had not ordered or received. We raised the issue on 20th Jan.
The lack of the ability of Watson to acknowledge and sort out their mistakes was soon obvious. Failures by Watson included a lack of acknowledgment of our communications, non existent or slow responses, an incorrect Statement and poor explanations, which indicated to me a system overwhelmed.
On 30/03/26 we received two statements, am and pm, each with different figures for the cost of a delivery. One of the statements sent omitted a Direct Debit taken by Watson. A part of the Watson Dashboard shows Historic Deliveries, that part of our Dashboard still showed, on 30/03.26, a different cost for deliveries than the correct costs. All in all a complete shambles.
It took far too long to rectify a mistake caused by Watson, I find it unacceptable.
It appears that the new systems do not function properly and are confusing for both customers and staff.
After over 20+ years with Watson but with the thought that I do not want to spend time forensically checking Watson's accounting and administration systems, we have closed our account.
For Watsons to verify we are customers a communication from them was titled
'Your statement for account 1026265 from Watson Fuels [MsgRef: 43101-132483]"

Untrustworthy and Unreliable
I have been an account holder with Watsons for around 15years and i never always checked my statements as I trusted Watsons to be competitve and reliable. As we wanted to make sure we had a full tank just before Xmas I ordered a delivery which was on time. I cannot recall seeing a invoice and as always I didn't check. It was only through talking to a neighbour I found that they had been invoiced for my delivery. Had we received an apology that would have been the end of it as mistakes can be made but it is how they are dealt with that matters. Since then I have emailed Watsons 6 times and never received a reply. I have telephoned several times but got fed up when my calls were not answered. I recently wrote them a letter and after a few days received a call from a lady called Davina who listened to my complaint. I had asked from December for my account to be closed and my credit balance (of around £1000) to be returned This had not been done until I spoke to Davina on 24th March. As promised the money was paid into my account within a few days. As I have had this problem with Watsons I have looked carefully at my account and found that they have not been competitive as promised when I set up a monthly Direct Debit. Also I have been paying too much monthly so my credit balance has been building up. I cannot believe it has taking over 3 months to sort this out. I will never deal with Watsons again

I placed an order 7 weeks ago
I placed an order 7 weeks ago - still not delivered. They have been delivering to my address for over 20 years. They claim there was no payment card on their system. Didn't contact me to sort it out. But mysteriously the payment issue was sorted without contacting me! I spoke to them a number of times in the last 10 days and was told I am on the priority list to be delivered - no delivery. The people I have spoken to are perfectly nice though utterly ineffective at getting this resolved. I'm now on the priority list for the 3rd - let's hope it's third time lucky!!
