Abysmal Watch Service
My watch was serviced through Wallace Bishop and the battery was changed. Approximately 2 months later the battery stopped, and so I thought perhaps it was an issue with the watch itself. I sent it off to Longines to look at, and their repair centre said the watch needed (another) full service, the case back had been damaged (I’ve only ever given it to Wallace Bishop to service and change batteries), that it did not pass the water resistance test (I had paid for it to be made water resistant again by Wallace Bishop), and that a new battery was required. Of course, I paid for Longines to do the repairs, worried about sending it back to Wallace Bishop to repair. When I approached Wallace Bishop about a refund for the $350+ I had spent I was told no, and that I had to give them the opportunity to correct their mistakes. Only a mad person would allow them to touch the watch again surely?! We won’t be using them again obviously.
