poor service

Hello,



My name is Mike, I have been doing business with Vystar since 1979. Over the years I have noticed a real decline in how you treat your customers. The big blunder with the software was a terrible mess. My family all left but I chose to stay with you until now.



I had my debit card stolen and I went in to get another card as I make all my transactions via card. I was told you have chosen to no longer provide a card at the branch and that I would have to wait for it in the mail. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? You have the ability to take care of the customer right then but choose to use snail mail? Extremely inconvenient. Hope it saves you 3 dollars. You all have 6 and 7 figure incomes that you are making off you customers money. This is the last event for me I will be moving on and considering doing more cash transactions as banking has become expensive for everyone except the banker.



I’m sure this was a financial business decision but it affects customer service, we are the customer.



Impossible business partners!

Ridiculous Debit Card Renewal Procedures......

They are SUPPOSED to AUTOMATICALLY send you a new debit card THREE WEEKS before the current one expires.

However, this did NOT happen with ME.

When I contacted them initially, they said it was an "oversight" and they would send it express 3-5 days as opposed to the 7-10 days it usually takes.

However, that did NOT happen.

I contact them AGAIN, it takes over an HOUR for them to FINALLY figure out that somehow, they do NOT have my actual apartment number on file, therefore, my card never got sent. They also ADMITTED that this was 100% THEIR FAULT.

So, they agree AGAIN to send it express 3-5 days, arriving Monday. However, my current card expires tomorrow -- the last day of the month. They ASSURE me that I can continue to use my current one through then.

So, I go ahead and do my normal Sunday shopping today while I still can. BUT, I can NOT do this, because my current card has ALREADY been marked "Expired". WTAF?!?!?

I also get a message that it has been marked "lost". Uh, NO, it has NOT been "lost". I know EXACTLY where it is.

So, NOW, I can NOT do my grocery/supplies shopping for AT LEAST 6 days!!!!!! (Assuming that my new card actually shows up on time.).

And they will NOT give me ANY type of temporary digital card for those 6 (+) days Even though they FREELY ADMIT that this WHOLE ENTIRE FIASCO is 100% THEIR FAULT!!!!!!

So, I am just COMPLETELY UNABLE to buy anything for 6 (+) days, and I am just supposed to be okay with that, when I did absolutely NOTHING wrong whatsoever...........................

Also, I do NOT have a car, and my brother is on my account, but they will NOT let HIM go to a branch and pick it up for me since I am LITERALLY UNABLE TO............................................

In what universe is it okay to admit 100% fault but then do the bare minimum to fix it and I am just supposed to be okay with nearly an entire week of being COMPLETELY UNABLE to buy anything......?!?!?

Also, their "Chat" function KEPT getting cut off, basically making it IMPOSSIBLE for introverted customers to try to resolve their issues in the easiest way.

Please, PLEASE, I BEG of you, to read this and do BETTER next time................!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I’ve had nothing but…

Unfortunately I’ve had nothing but customer service challenges with their mobile banking. I tried to use Zelle for an emergency blood transfusion for my brother’s dog and 30 minutes on the phone and they couldn’t figure out why there app wasn’t working for me. I switched to another bank and sent him from another account. Not user friendly, and the issues never get resolved. I’m driving up there to close my account immediately.

STAY AWAY from Vystar credit union

Got auto loan through Vystar credit union. Due 6th, lot rent due 5th. Had to go in to branch to change due date. Payment due was $292, set up autopay on 14th for $350. Car was repossessed for non payment.

Called. Confirmed last payment was for $350, but back in April. This is now Sept. Told call my bank. Bank says problem on their end. Called Vystar back. Not only did they NOT set up autopay, but they NEVER EVEN CHANGED THE DUE DATE . The very reason they made me go in to the branch in the first place!

I filed bancruptcy five years ago and the dealer had to call 12 banks to find somebody to give me a loan. Now, FORGET IT with a repo on my credit report on top of this. They CLAIM they sent me an e-mail, but I never got one! They claim they sent a letter, but the only thing I get from them shows payment due amount and outstanding balance. NOTHING about non payment. All because the woman at the branch NEVER SET UP autopay, NEVER CHANGED my due date. The VERY REASON I was told to come in to the branch.

Now I had to miss work because I had to call off. LOSS of wages! Got a point at work (Disney) for calling off. Three points within six months and I am TERMINATED! NO POSSIBILITY of EVER getting a new car with a repossession on top of a bancruptcy. No transportation! All because of the COMPLETE INCOMPETANCE of Vystar!

I am waiting for a callback from a lawyer because I am seeking damages.

SHE NEVER EVEN CHANGED THE DUE DATE!

As a long time member

As a long time member, I am becoming increasingly dissatisfied with Vystar. The conversion to the new platform is absolutely no better than what they had in place prior to this debacle. In addition, they have gone from being a credit union for the people to acting just like any other bank too big to fail. I did not sign up for a variable rate credit card when I joined them in 1989 and that has now been forced on me along with an interest rate that is jumping up almost double from their last increase. When I called today, I learned they have gone from a live person to an automated recording. They offer me terrible interest rates on savings and CDs. I am left wondering just how this Credit Union is supporting me and its other members any better than a regular bank with shareholders these days....

The mobile banking issues happened during a planned conversion to a new platform. VyStar said all funds are secure. The bank is using local banking tech firm Nymbus to launch the new platform electing it as its digital banking partner a few months after investing $20 million in the company. Don't recall this being divulged prior to the implementation of new platform.

Lost a long time customer

In a span of less than 2 months, my personal checking account and credit card information was hacked. Twice. It was a real pain to close and replace the information. Ever since the conversion fail last year and how no one had access to their information plus how scammers are spoofing their fraud department to get information. I'm sure there are a lot more of us out there. It was too stressful to keep going through this. I closed my account and went elsewhere.

More than once I have had to get a new…

More than once I have had to get a new debit card because my account was hacked. In fact in the last 6 weeks I've gotten 4 new cards. Come on! That's a little ridiculous. Yes, they were prompt about returning my money, but it should have never happened in the first place.

Misleading, Always an Issue

Tons of downs and not enough ups, systems are constantly going down online still or things are completely not loading properly and causing accounts to be affected in a negative way with the company not taking full responsibility for their actions. Recently my accounts that normally get auto debited have not been getting auto debited and overlapping each other resulting in numerous fees they charge when using their courtesy service when challenging them on a removal asked to provide proof and/or screenshots to show things auto debited on the specific date we discussed which I easily can and could do. Just their smug way of trying to blame the client or retaliate against them for noticing flaws that they refuse to remove. I will be closing my account , I had already attempted to but they wanted to hold a loan as leverage when they could easily close the account and send it to collections I won’t be forced to keep a bank account that’s misleading that’s for sure .
