V's Home Improvement completed my upstairs bathroom renovation. Jose had some great ideas to maximize the footprint. This included moving the location of the sink, toilet and shower. He also suggested changing the entrance to another wall. What a difference that has made! Jose was quick to respond to any questions I had during the process. His team was efficient, tidy and always on time. They replaced windows, remodeled the bathroom, painted my stairwell and moved the entrance to the bathroom. I'm very pleased with V's Home Improvement. I've been recommending them to my friends, family and clients.

We needed some drywall repairs, new paint, and new carpet in our basement due to water damage.

V's Home Improvement earned our 5-star review from start to finish of project! We are in a new construction home and needed one of our basement rooms completely finished. Project was expertly completed and looks great! Some of the work performed included framing, roughing-in of recess lights and outlets, electrical. Walls and ceiling were drywalled, spackled, sanded and painted with our color choice. Flooring of our choice was also installed with V's guidance on quality and type. V's price was fair and never went beyond what was estimated. We were particularly impressed with the care and cleanliness of the entire team throughout the process. We don't have a walkout basement, so all materials had to be carefully carried in the house, down two flights of narrow stairs. Surrounding areas were protected and covered throughout entire work process. V's also provided a clear project plan with scope of work to be performed with timelines for all work as well as payment timelines. There were no surprises and everything was very clear. We liked the crew and work so much, we had them stay a little longer to paint the rest of the downstairs basement. Job well done by all and we will call V's again for any future projects. We used V's Home Improvement for a double bathroom renovation and couldn't be happier with the final results! We updated our hall bathroom and completely gutted our master bath. When my wife and I decided to remodel two bathrooms in our home (hall and master bathrooms), we contacted several contractors for estimates. We ultimately chose Jose, who owns V's Home Improvement, as he was professional, but also very personable and friendly. We also appreciated that he is a Military Veteran. We gave him an overview of what we were looking to do and he gave us several positive recommendations that we had not previously considered. Jose provided us with a very fair price in his estimate for our projects and broke them down by each bathroom. Another factor that influenced us to go with him is that his business is truly a family business! His dad handled our window replacements, his father-in-law is excellent with drywall and painting, as well as brothers-in law, nephew, cousins and other relatives. This told us that the men and women who would be coming in our home almost daily over a two-month period, had a responsibility to Jose and "their" business and they were not people whom he had simply hired recently to get a job done and had no idea who they were. Each of his "guys", as he refers to them, has their own specialty and trade and they are very polished in what they do!

Once we had committed to work with Jose, he took the estimate that he had provided and he broke it down into a detailed contract so we would know how much we would owe him from the initial deposit, through other stages of progress in the renovation of our two bathrooms. As with the other contracting estimates that we had received, his estimate did not include the cost of the tiles, grout, vanities, bath and shower fixtures, new tubs, lighting fixtures and other minor furnishings such as mirrors, towel racks and the like. These are the items which are based on personal preference and which we therefore, would need to purchase on our own. However, he did provide helpful guidance in what materials to look for, where to consider buying them and how much to purchase. His contract specifically delineated what we would provide, what he would provide, and an approximate timeline (barring any unforeseen problems) for the stages of renovation of each bathroom.

We began with the renovation of the hall bathroom first, as it was a smaller room and wouldn't take as long as the master bathroom. From the first day of demolition through the finished product, we were amazed with how meticulous the crews were in setting up drop cloths and taping plastic to the walls where necessary, to minimize any dirt or dust from getting into other parts of our home. They would literally spend the first 15 minutes of every morning to prepare the pathways to and from their project site and to ensure that our home stayed clean. At the end of the day, they would take everything down and restore our home to normal. His crews were always polite and friendly, but always very professional and focused on their jobs at hand. His tile specialist is amazing at his craft and has been laying tile for over 17 years. Each of his other workers is also very experienced at what they do.

After the completion of the hall bathroom, we paused work temporarily for the holidays and Jose was very accommodating and flexible to wait until right after the new year began to start on the master bathroom. Once again, they were very careful to keep our home as clean as possible during all phases from demolition through the final touches. As with any project, there is always the chance to run into an issue or two. We were fortunate to only have one with some minor water damage and wood rot that was discovered under the pan of the original shower in the master bathroom. Jose was quick to recommend a fix that was affordable and would not significantly delay our project and they repaired it in less than one day. We had also requested a couple of changes from the original plan, such as adding LED lighting to the shower niche and building a corner shelf behind a stand-alone tub, that we had not considered before. Jose was quick to allow for those adjustments and provided some insight as to what we should consider, and they were taken care of for a very fair modification to the original cost.

We are extremely satisfied with both of our new beautiful bathrooms and the work that Jose and his "guys" accomplished! We will actually miss seeing Jose's "family" at our house every day and sharing coffee and talking with them. It truly felt like they were becoming part of our family as well and we trusted them implicitly. There were several occasions where they were working in our home while we were away and they took great care to respect our property.

Absolute professionals! I have worked with them for going on 5 years. I bring them in for large jobs that I cant handle on my own at work and at home. They have done an extensive list of jobs from emergency repairs due to sprinkler system ruptures, to roof work, privacy fence installs, HVAC, drywall and painting. A miracle: a construction job done with minimal snafus at a reasonable price and more or less on schedule. V’s did a complete reconstruction of our master bathroom and we are thrilled with the job they did. I also want to add that the men who did the work were always polite and considerate of their work in the house.

We had extensive renovations done over a 3-month period involving painting, flooring, plumbing, electric, and tile work and had a great experience with Jose and his team. Jose is exceptional with communicating, coordinating the workers, and making sure you are satisfied with the work. The workers are professional, dependable, and very skilled at what they do.
