I tried to download a voicemap guide for Trondheim but did so at the last minute and did not manage to make it work before leaving. The support via email gave me a bonus to use for another guide. Stephan has been particularly helpful in helping me out. Very good assistance overall, prompt and clear replies. The guide was well written and interesting, I will use voicemap again.

Publishing my second VoiceMap tour has been another great experience. Stephan was professional, responsive and always helpful throughout the editing process, offering constructive suggestions while respecting my vision for the tour. Olivia also did an excellent job with the audio editing, improving the overall listening experience.
Communication was clear from beginning to end, and the whole team made the publishing process smooth and enjoyable. I look forward to working with them again on future tours.

It took me nine months to get it out, but the VoiceMap team supported me all the way. And only towards the end did I realise and appreciate the VoiceMap team's input. If I had known how much work it involved, I probably would never have started it. But Stephan always made it sound like a marathon, not a race. He responded effectively and quickly. I understand that creating the tour is only the first step; next is getting it out in front of the right customer, and I will need to learn how to do that. But with Stephan's team behind me, I am confident and excited to continue.

I am 60, so understanding new software doesn't come quickly for me. I have had the pleasure of working with Renier Nolte, a Tour Editor at VoiceMap, and his guidance has made creating my tour far less stressful. I have created over half a dozen walks with VoiceMap in London, Hong kong and Beijing. The process has been unbelievably smooth, even if as a technical neophyte I need a lot of initial handholding. Both the technical and audio teams (Ren and Olivia) as well as Tom in their London office and Helene in marketing have been incredibly supportive. And, as to the nuts and bolts - they support my tours, advertise them brilliantly and pay me on time! Couldn't be happier.

I really enjoyed working with the VoiceMap editors. This was the first time I published a tour and would definitely work with them again! Beyond the editors the tools within the app itself for creating tours and testing the rough draft scripts were really helpful and intuitive to use. When I first contacted Voicemap to enquire about creating my audio walking tour I was very apprehensive. Especially as I'm not fantastic with technology. Tour Editor Stephan could not have been more helpful and patient with me, explaining the process in great detail and answering my queries promptly, despite having a heavy workload. Any technical issues were quickly overcome and the whole process of creating my first tour was very enjoyable and stress free.
Audio Editor Olivia became involved once I had created my scripts. Like Stephan, she was fantastic and assisted me greatly with my voice recordings and further edits that were dealt with efficiently.
After numerous emails back and forward, my tour was recently published. I would highly recommend Voicemap to anyone thinking about creating an audio walking tour. Easily 5 stars to Steph and Olivia from me.

Excellent organisation - hand holding and quick and friendly comms. My editor Stephan and the sound person Olivia were really responsive and if you think you just sign up and help yourself you could not be more wrong - it is a collaboration and they deserve to flourish - as a charity organisation we just want to maintain our reputation and we feel it is safe with VoiceMap.

I signed up for a tour that I was going to take tomorrow. I installed the app on my phone. I tried at least 8 times to get it to work. All it did was bounce up and down with static on the screen or shut itself down. Per AI, this is due to:

"Because the "static jumping" happens immediately upon opening, this is a launch-level graphics conflict. Since you're on a cutting-edge Samsung 'X' with Android OS 'X', the app's initial "drawing" instructions are likely crashing against the new OS's display protocols."

Also the transaction is foreign, so due to potential fraud, I closed my credit card. I also emailed them for an immediate credit.

Too bad, I was interested in trying an app that is voice guided rather than where you have to constantly turn your phone on and look at your screen to follow the tour.

I have talking about doing something like for years. Whilst I am not the most tech savy person I have found the process relatively straight forward with the guidance of primarily Stephan and Chad for Audio. I am now really excited to see what happens with my tour and now that I have started I look forward to working with these guys again with future tours.

It's not an easy task to guide someone creating an audio tour. What Stephan did exceptionally well. He really was kind, patient and coordinated on a very high professional level.

Using VoiceMap with Stephen as Audio Editor was smooth and seamless. Strong storytelling, clean audio, and a well-crafted final experience....
