Vocier is a Scam

Vocier is a scam.

They told me that they would refund their luggage, which was terrible quality. So, I sent the luggage back.

I have never received the refund. After repeated confirmation by them over the last year that they would refund my money. They have not.

This is hands down the worst luggage…

This is hands down the worst luggage company on the planet. Please do not waste your money and time to buy from them. I place an order for two items two months ago; one was shipped with no explanation about why the other was delayed. To this day, non of my queries have been answered. They clearly seem to be operating a scam enterprise. I have initiated a refund request with my credit company after my numerous failed attempts to get a response about my order. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I would give them ZERO stars if I could.

This is a terrible company and a scam

This is a terrible company and a scam. After receiving the luggage and being unhappy with the quality and product, I returned it as per their policy. However, it has been over a year and they have not refunded my money as they promised. I would not recommend them or take the risk with a company that does not honor returns even when they've promised to do so. This company is a scam.

Disappointing service experience despite good product

I bought a VOCIER C38 a few years ago and was very happy with the luggage itself. Unfortunately, the handle broke recently. Since VOCIER advertises a lifetime warranty, I contacted their support.

After some back and forth, they told me to send the bag to their repair partner in Frankfurt. I live in Switzerland, so I paid nearly 70 EUR to ship it there, as they don’t have a Swiss repair option. I informed both VOCIER and the repair shop once the parcel was on its way.

A few weeks later, I learned that the repair partner never picked up the package because they “didn’t know about the case.” So now my bag is somewhere out there, possibly on its way back to me, most likely with additional fees — and still with a broken handle.

VOCIER’s support has stopped responding to my emails, and it seems the so-called lifetime warranty is worth very little in practice. I really liked their product, but after this experience, I’ve lost all trust in their customer service.

They will steal your money

They took my money and never sent the product. I ordered weeks ago, have followed up with their support over 5 times, receieving one response that was just an apology for a delay, no timeline given, no explanation. The response was less than 10 words. I've requested order cancellation and recieved no responses. Even if I get the bag at this point, it will be immediately reutnred, I cannot imagine needing warranty support from such a poorly run customer service department.

Caveat Emptor

One thing I despise is apparent dishonesty or lack of transparency.

I was invited to give feedback after a recent Vocier purchase and gave a bad review. Why?

1. P55 luggage wheel fell off on FIRST use and likely sitting on a tarmac somewhere in the USA. I write customer service and told that I wasn’t supposed to check the luggage. Utterly insulting. No warranty coverage if you check your SUITCASE yet no where stated that’s visibly obvious. They then have the gall to ask me to spend $70 for a new wheel.

2. Three years ago, bought suitcase 1.0, pretty suitcase where zipper broke on 3rd use and unrepairable. This happened just before a flight. Vocier offer? No warranty and was forced to take a credit note.

My review never made it to their site. Their current reviews appear filtered and selective.

Like the other reviews - avoid Vocier

I bought the Vocier Avant roll-on suitcase and accessories in 2019 for around 1,250 Euros.

The Avant range was launched to much fanfare at the time and as a frequent business traveler, the modular luggage system looked brilliant. I even received an email from the CEO Michael Kogelnik explaining his vision and inviting feedback. The case is brilliant BUT...

...Vocier discontinued the Avant after only 2 years, maybe due to Covid timing. Vocier didn't bother contacting me to notify of this after all the hype. That was already disappointing. After 6 years of careful use, the wheels literally fell apart. This is a problem in humid Singapore with poorer quality synthetic materials. Never happened for any other cases I own.

Since I have a "lifetime warranty" I thought it would be easy to get replacements. How naïve of me. The customer support couldn't have cared less. In a nutshell, lifetime doesn't mean lifetime, it means 2 years for wheels. The website buries the real coverage of the "lifetime warranty", which is already bad. And anyway 'we don't stock the wheels anymore since the product was discontinued'. I explained that wasn't good enough, that the wheels had deteriorated due to materials not usage. Vocier didn't care. They advised, buy some from Amazon. They wouldn't even recommend the appropriate wheels. I asked them what the product being discontinued meant for the "lifetime warranty" if I have any other problems. They didn't reply. Some sorry's doesn't cut it.

Absolutely terrible. Rubbish CX. Do not buy Vocier. I thought I was rewarding an innovative business. Stick with luggage brands you know, like Rimowa, Tumi etc.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, I have tried for 3 months to get the things I ordered and paid for, they keep saying that they are out of stock and then they send me advertising mails where the same items appear in stock.

Bought a suitcase at close to 1.000…

Bought a suitcase at close to 1.000 euro’s in 2019. The product in it self - I dont have anything bad to say about. But despite warranty having run out I do find it poor poor poor service that one of the wheels falls apart and support only ref to the warranty. They can repair it if I ship it and at a cost of 150 Euro’s.

When you buy such expensive travel cases its really not acceptable that something as simple as the wheels fall apart and they just look at warranty and says ‘computer says no’.

Further response time from support was more than 3 weeks…

Overall - dont pay this much if quuality is not better ‘supported’

Worst company ever!

Worst company ever. Bought for 3,000 euros but they never delivered the last suitcase. They don't answer the phone and they have an extremely long response time to e-mails, until it stops altogether. Have now made an objection with the bank and got my money back. Don´t buy from them!

Avoid

Sadly, the company has gone completely downhill in recent years. Quality is way down, they charge unannounced duty fees to UK customers, and support is simply non-existent - you will not have your items serviced, do not count on it.

Support ignores all e-mails

They sent me the wrong item but never replied to my e-mails regarding this problem. Packaging also feels very cheap. They market themselves as a higher quality company but the packaging looks and feels cheaper than packaging from Zara and co. The quality of the leather also doesn‘t seem that nice. Can’t recommend buying from them. Especially because they will not reply to any of your messages if you want to return your items or in my case return the wrong item.

Scammer Company

I have now noticed that there are no reviews for this company, wish I had looked them up before.
I recently purchase a travel on case from Vocier online. The case was advertised for sale at £224.50 (50% off, down from £449.) About 5 days later I received an email from UPS saying that they had a deliver for me, however I need to pay the taxes of £149.95 either online or pay the driver on delivery. I at first thought this was a scam email, however I received a second email from UPS a couple days later demanding £149.95 upon delivery or in advance by online payment. I contacted the Vocier customer service to find out why I have to pay taxes of £145.95 which was not mentioned on their website. I got an email back from them, stating that since the UK left the European Union this is the usual thing that happens. I answered the email stating, I am not a politician so I would not know about this, so this should have been stated on the website. I further explained that I will not be paying the taxes or accepting the goods so they can instruct UPS to bring the goods back to them and return my £224. They email back again to say I would have to contact UPS myself and ask them to return the goods. I wrote another email (to which I am still waiting for a response,) stating that I have done no business with UPS so I am not responsible to contact them about anything, it is their responsibility. I should add that I originally ordered the Carry on case on 22/10/23, and today is 12/11/23 and I have still to received my money back from them. I would advise people to keep away from this Scammer Company, they advertised items for sale at half price to lure you in, then let their courier slap on heavy taxes to collect the goods, (they probably split the taxes from the courier between themselves.) A decent company would declare on their website that import taxes would be applied, so that the customers know in advance they have to pay import taxes. I am still waiting for my money and a further response from Vocier.
