Brewing bold beers from our hilltop in Hebden Bridge and pouring punchy pints from our very own taprooms. We’re resolutely in the business of setting standards, not following trends. We punch above our weight by putting good beer into good people’s fridges, never courting credibility we just let our hop forward, unapologetic beers do the talking. Our core collection is a constant to always come back to, while we show our creative flare through limited editions. We put our heart and soul into every brew – it’s not life and death but it’s up there. We listen to our drinkers, we still make beer for us as much for as we do for them, and we still only brew beer we’re proud to put our name on. It’s still our Vocation.

Been getting beers from Vocation for a few years now, great service, but more to the point, exceptional beers. Personal taste plays a big part, and IPA's tend to be my thing, but I've tried most of the types of beer they brew, and have enjoyed them all. "Life and Death" is my personal favourite of theirs, although that's a tough decision, would be happy with any of them really.

Great beers & great service
I have ordered from Vocation a fair number of times in the past few years. Only once have I experienced a problem when I was sent the wrong glass, and that was sorted straight away. Their beers are first class, as is their service. They have always deserved 5 stars as far as I am concerned.

Their beers are not the cheapest, but the quality more than makes up for it. You can truly taste the difference, and for us that makes them well worth it. Vocation Brewery has become a real favourite, and we would happily recommend them to anyone looking for exceptionally good beer.
