I had hoped that the program instead of…
I had hoped that the program instead of placing me with a company, they can provide a network of other interns to discuss our internship experience on the Career bridge platform. This career bridge website also caused me a lot of stress because it was just reading facts without giving me any situation to apply them. However, I'm glad that I did learn something from the website and can use it for my future career.
For the weekly checkpoint, I think it would be better and less tedious if the program could follow up with us to talk about our struggles and provide some resources.
For the calls, it was pleasant, but I only had 2 calls and there was no other support.
This virtual internship was difficult, but I'm glad that I successfully completed it. I'm happy that the company I worked for found values in my reports.

I believe given the circumstances they did a wonderful job pairing us and getting us some much needed experience. One recommendation would be to switch up the format/methods/reasoning in which emails are sent. It felt a bit spammy and It was hard to tell what was important. Other than that, it was wonderful. A very valuable experience to have during a challenging period.
I had a great experience with Virtual Internships. After lockdown in the UK I sort of began to feel like all the days just blended into one, but doing this virtual internship is a great stand out experience to have and I feel really lucky to have been a part of it. It was also great that I managed to intern with a Chinese company to get some experience of the work culture there, as all my plans to go to China this year had been made impossible. It was all managed very well and I felt supported throughout the process. Would definitely recommend this program to any applicant.

A wonderful opportunitty to learn more about yourself under worthwhile, challenging circumstances
The internship was an interesting journey as it was one of my first experiences of working remotely and professionally with a proper overseas company. Though I'd love the objectives for our project at the time to be clarified and more tangible to a certain extend, which might have been avoided if our group had had more time with the host company, the experience provided an amazing opportunity to work and observe things from different perspectives, culturally. Overall, I find myself satisfied with how my learning curves took place on numerous occasions during the internship. I therefore expect the program to continue to provide support for both students as well as the host company, which I think VI did a wonderful job in this space.

I completed my virtual Internship and the company was quite good but the supervisor doesn't have any experience in training the interns, he just gives unrealistic projects but the company had quite good employees as well.

I did my virtual internship in the UK
I did my virtual internship in the UK; they offer a great training portal called CareerBridge that helps you to not only reflect on your chosen category of internship as you progress, but gives you all aspects needed for navigating employment once you have finished; you also get coaching sessions too. I got involved in a software project that exposed me to different scripting and object-oriented languages that I can demonstrate I have experience in for future prospective employers. The virtual internhip model offered here is more efficient for getting post-graduate experience and it saves you the time lost in commuting to a traditional internship in a building.

Beyond Exceptional!!
I am a master student from Egypt, and I have to say that Virtual Internships was the best experience in my entire life. I'm very satisfied with the experience I had so far. While I had no idea what do do at the beginning of my internship, their training platform was very useful and guided me alot. Staff is so friendly and kind with me. Through VI, I made alot of connections through my internship in so little time which is very good for personal development and personal relationships. Many thanks to Sacha Grégoire who helped me find a host company. Very helpful, and they constantly follow up with my progress. Extremely satisfied, and I reccommend Virtual Internships to all other students! It might be a bit expensive for students from the Middle East because of the currency rate, and it will not be accessible for everyone, but it's definitely worth it. Perhaps they could make custom offers for developing countries in the MENA region, but still, they're doing a great job anyway!

Virtual Internships is fantastic!
I was a third-year student in Australia without any substantial work experience until I found out about Virtual Internships. The VI team were great and helped find a good company in my area - Law. I was matched to a small US law firm in California. Pretty amazing! I was able to gain work experience in a different country, valuable insights into the industry I was studying, and I formed crucial global connections. The coaching provided by VI helped me to approach work at a professional, interpersonal and proficient communicative level. After my internship was finished, I was much more confident with my own professional abilities and my knowledge of the industry. I highly recommend Virtual Internships to any student who needs that kick to begin their career.

Virtual Internships is a platform that presents information, enlisting a range of skills and traits that will ultimately enhance your level of employability. With great coaches and ongoing support from the team (provided the cooperation from your delegated company too) I have definitely found an increase in my level of confidence and assertiveness when approaching tasks that initially may seem daunting, especially upon entering a career. 10/10 would recommend
I can't recommend virtual internships enough. I got the opportunity to work with two companies although the first company did not work out great, vital internships were more than happy for me to work with another company that best fit me and my career goals. I love the fact that I had regular meetings with my supervisors and we got to give each other constructive feedback. They really had trust and confidence in me and that made me have confidence in myself too. It has been a pleasure working with Ed Holroyd he always complimented me on how great I was doing. This company put the time and effort into the interns. They listen to their career goals and take the time to get to know personally know their interns. Whenever I had job interviews my work placement with what Virtual Internships always mentioned and I can't put in words how great this company is and how great my experience was. I even got offered a permanent job with the company that I interned for which was even better that I had expected.
