My experience was brilliant. I really enjoyed the opportunity to apply some of the skills I had learnt on my Bootcamp. As I was placed with a small startup company, I felt really valued and able to make a significant contribution. During my 12 weeks I learnt how to use WordPress which I had never learnt before and was put in charge of building the corporate website. The CEO of the company was amazing. Great communication and feedback. I would definitely recommend an internship.

This company's team was able to answer my queries very fast and supported me every step of the way.

The Virtual Internship followed my Bootcamp in FrontEnd WebDeveloper & was designed to be easy to apply, with all the relevant information provided through webinars and by email. Opportunities opened up for me that wouldn't have been available if I had not participated. I highly recommend and would also partake in this experience again. Weekly reviews were completed online by myself and my supervisor and regular online chats were scheduled as a one to one with the Virtual Internship Team to ensure progression was made according to the projects planned with the host company. The projects are based on your own interests and host companies were available to us globally to enable you to choose a company that matches your values as well as passions.

They make you do the application, a long process that requires videos and lots of filling. At the end of the application, a payment of $300 is required, which isn't mentioned anywhere on the website. I am overqualified for an internship, but I desperately need a job, and seeing how companies take advantage of people's desperation is disgusting. Capitalism at its lowest

Charging $300 before even providing an actual opportunity is complete robbery. Hello? you're charging people without solid experience that want to GAIN that experience through your platform. HOW TF do you expect them to afford this? Just some tech opportunists that want to exploit desperate people. Capitalism at its best.

I have been juggling with marketing admin tasks, operations, sales, etc and it was quite hectic.
The interns were quite enthusiastic and open to learning new skills in marketing and were quite open about upscaling. I have been very happy with the service provided and would recommend this organisation again.

Great experience with virtual internship. Many of the amazing staff sent qualified interns to work remotely with our company. Some did great work but when others didn't fit the requirements, they immediately replaced the intern with someone who can do the job.

Easy process, professional communication and a very valuable output

We've run two rounds of interniships with VI. The first batch of Cohorts were from Saudi Arabia and were quite surprisingly highly skilled. We were placed with a mix of females and one male, all in the TECH and HR industries. Our second batch placed a college student from the UK. In each opportunity, we were pleased with our interns.

The VI team was available the entire way to assist with whatever we needed. We will be back soon... ☺
