The idea is good and the platform has many users, but:
- it is full of fake products for which there is no guarantee
- if you get into a dispute with a buyer/seller, you always end up losing
- I received a fake T-shirt and ended up with neither the T-shirt nor the money
- unjustified amounts are withdrawn from the balance
- customer support is ridiculous and even if you are right, they close the conversation.

It was working well for 2 years and after my account got banned . All of a sudden when i posted a pair of shoes, they said they are fake when they are not . I just don’t understand how they check if the item is fake or not. Big disappointment after using it for 2 years and selling hundreds of products and also had 5 stars review

I am extremely disappointed with Vinted’s handling of a recent order. I purchased what was advertised as a genuine Huda Beauty powder, but I received a dangerous counterfeit.

The evidence is undeniable:

The product has an invalid batch code.

The packaging contains typos and alignment errors that would never pass quality control at a luxury brand.

Most importantly, the product has a strong toxic chemical smell, making it a major health and safety hazard!

Despite returning the item to the seller with tracking proof, the seller is now trying to block my refund over a minor tear in the low-quality, counterfeit cardboard box and because the product is open- which I had to do to discover the chemical smell.

Vinted's automated "reporting" system claimed "nothing was unusual," which is a joke. They are allowing a seller to distribute hazardous fakes while holding my money hostage. If Vinted does not intervene and refund me for this prohibited item, I will be escalating this through a bank chargeback and reporting the safety violation to ANPC.

My experience with the platform so far has been an overall net positive but I am also a seller and I have encountered several issues that have made the experience quite miserable to both me the seller and to my customers. The first one is a wierd glitch I have reported and have been given a generic answer several times, the issue is regarding to shipping larger packages that do not fit in delivery lockers, I have tried in vain to change all options in my account to make the "ship via courier" option available but no avail, I was literally forced to do the sale on a different platform because of this. Secondly, the one that pushed me over the edge today, I am selling gaming art-books for example and have them SEALED. The rules say I cannot put any other pictures except for the ones that I take myself. Ok, might work with clothing or other things but what can I take a picture of? The glossy foil that covers most of the front page of the book I am selling? I am sure that will be a fantastic starting point for the buyer. And let's say I wanted to post a few pictures of the contents of the book, am I supposed to unseal it so that I can take my own photos? Thus drastically reducing it's value? I am sure this is an oversight from the "only second hand clothing" days of vinted but this anomaly has pissed me off immeasurably, especially the imbecilic beratement I received, even being told I might get banned if I do it again, when I obviously wrote credits to the creator that had taken the original photos (a bookflip video from youtube). Please help me to understand how these things work for you Vinted. They are not working out for me too well.

Experiență extrem de frustrantă cu Vinted – platforma încurajează practic înșelarea.

Am cumpărat o geantă listată ca fiind Zara, exact așa era descrierea din anunț. La primire, produsul NU este Zara – nu există logo, etichete sau marcaje specifice brandului, iar geanta pare a fi un produs generic, posibil de pe un site tip Shein.

Am cerut retur, iar vânzătorul a recunoscut în scris, DUPĂ deschiderea procedurii, că „a scris din greșeală Zara”. Așadar, este clar și dovedit că greșeala aparține vânzătorului.

Cu toate acestea, Vinted a decis că eu, cumpărătorul indus în eroare, trebuie să plătesc taxa de retur. Deși am furnizat poze clare care arată lipsa logo-ului Zara exact din locul unde ar trebui să fie (buzunar interior), probele au fost ignorate.

Suportul Vinted oferă doar răspunsuri care par automate, fără analizarea reală a situației. În loc să protejeze cumpărătorul, platforma îl favorizează pe cel care a publicat un anunț fals.

Nu mi se pare corect și nici normal să fiu obligată să plătesc pentru o greșeală recunoscută a vânzătorului. Prin astfel de decizii, Vinted descurajează corectitudinea și încurajează practic anunțurile înșelătoare.

Nu recomand platforma celor care se așteaptă la corectitudine, responsabilitate și suport real.

I sent a package a few days ago but their app did not show that i did. I contacted them and sent them a confirmation from the carrier that the package is on its way to the buyer and they put the order on hold. Today, they have cancelled my order, gave th ebuyer a refund while i literally sent the package and i lost the products and money, Customer service is stupid and they only give automated responses. I lost 80 euros because of them not knowing how to do their job.

I created an account on Vinted on my wife's recommendation as she was using it for several months now and sold over 100 items and has 5 star reviews.
I mainly made the account so I can search for second hand Canon lenses. I found a 17-40mm and decided to buy it. Spoke to the seller, made 2 offers and finally agreed on the price. Bought it, they sent an invoice, shipping label, all good.
So I decided why not sell one of my old lenses. Got on the app, posted a few pictures of the lens and boom, "your account is blocked" with the reason being that I had multiple accounts. Mind you I signed in via my Google account (the only one I have for 20+ years now).
I contact support to ask why they blocked me, nothing. Later that day I got an email saying that my order was canceled.
So here I am, a new buyer, without a lens, without my money (and lenses aren't cheap) and without any response from their support team.

I had a very disappointing experience with Vinted. I received a clearly counterfeit item and provided extensive photo evidence, including comparisons with an authentic product I personally own. The seller failed to prove the authenticity — in fact, she lied repeatedly, sent a receipt dated after my order, and provided inconsistent and irrelevant documents. Still, Vinted refused to take responsibility. They told me to cover the return costs myself — despite paying their so-called “Buyer Protection” fee. Customer service sent copy-paste responses, ignored key facts, and eventually closed the conversation without resolving the issue. I will be reporting this to consumer protection authorities. Buyers, be cautious — their protection policy doesn’t protect you when it truly matters.

Cea mai jegoasă aplicație. M-am înregistrat și mi-am făcut cont și de 5 zile încoace mă tot întreabă să confirm numărul de telefon. Când vreau sa îl confirm, niciodată nu primesc codul.
O aplicație oribilă, execrabilă, mizerabilă și jegoasă.
Suportul clienți nici nu există. Nimeni nu e acolo sa te ajute. Îți trimite un email automat care niciodată nu te ajută și totdeauna e pe dinafară. Acum nici nu mă mai pot loga din cauza asta și vreau să-mi șterg contul pentru totdeauna.

The buyer pays protection tax for every order. When you find out something is missing after delivery the only measure they approve is....talk to the seller. Of course the seller will deny everything and stall to make you pay. They get most of the protection. I dont't know even know why is mandatory in any case. It s like a SCAM for every transaction.

Their buyer protection tax is a SCAM. They are sending items to wrong pick-up points, losing them and not refunding the buyer. The virtual assistants are copy pasting messages, not co-operating, talking like to idiots, they’re even mean. VINTED=SCAM

Am vandut o pereche de ochelari cartier cu lentile de vedere deoarece sunt nevoit sa schimb dioptriile iar ramele nu mai erau pe gustul meu .
Listez produsul la suma de 400 EUR desi costul total platit pe rame + lentile sare de 1000 EUR .
Toate bune si frumoase , postez anuntul , primesc oferte peste oferte si decid sa accept una dintre ele .
Am trimis coletul in afara tarii iar dupa primire cumparatorul a inceput sa faca afirmatii cu privirea autenticitatii , lucru destul de ciudat deoarece postarea avea peste 10 poze plus ce a mai cerut in conversatie , dupa lungi discutii cu acesta unde am trimis linkuri + poze cu acelasi produs pe diferite site uri lucrurile au ramas inca in 'dubii' .
A fost contactata echipa vinted care mi a sugerat cererea unei returnari a produsului deoarece nici ei nu pot garanta daca produsul este autentic sau fake . Zis si facut , am cerut returnarea , am primit coletul inapoi iar la deschidere am fimat tocmai pentru a evita o teapa despre care deja am simtit posibilitatea , surprinderea a fost destul de mica atunci cand la deschiderea cutiei pereche de ochelari nu se afla inauntru .
Am semnalat problema celor de la vinted , am trimis videoclipurile cand am ambalat coletul si cand a fost deschis cel retur si am asteptat un raspuns .
Astazi dupa 2 saptamani de la acest incident cei de la vinted au ajuns la decizia ca produsul este fake si daca nu pot justifica autenticitatea cu factura , cumparatorul primeste banii inapoi si desigur produsul pentru ca acesta nu a fost returnat catre mine .
In finalul acestei intamplari doresc doar atentionarea persoanelor interesate de aceasta aplicatie , STAY AWAY !

Am primit alt produs decat ce am comandat, nu am putut rezolva direct cu vanzatorul asa ca am solicitat suspendarea comenzii, am adaugat foto ca dovada si astept de mai bine de o saptamana ca Vinted sa se implice si sa gaseasca o solutie. Incerc sa iau legatura cu vinted, insa este imposibil. Cel mai slab serviciu de relationare cu clientii. Acest serviciu este de fapt inexistent. Probabil nu voi mai folosi acest site. NU ESTE DE INCREDERE.

Prima mea experiență de cumpărare a fost un coșmar, atât pentru că vânzătoarea a fost nepoliticoasă și a refuzat returul pentru un pulover deteriorat, cât și mai ales pentru că serviciul de suport clienți Vinted este cel mai prost cu care am avut de-a face vreodată. Le-am trimis numeroase poze și dovezi că produsul nu corespunde descrierii din multe puncte de vedere, iar ei mi-au răspuns într-un mod robotic că au eliberat plata către vânzătoare. Pentru ce e buyer protection fee atunci?

În final, nici măcar nu o pot învinui pe vânzătoare; doar a profitat de o platformă care favorizează escrocii. Nu au acordat nicio atenție cazului meu, așa că nu vă așteptați să primiți vreun ajutor real în caz de ceva. Voi dezinstala aplicația, pentru că nu vreau să susțin ignoranța, lipsa de empatie și profitul pe seama oamenilor.

Este prima dată când scriu o recenzie pentru o aplicație. A fost cu siguranță de necrezut și sper ca aplicația să nu mai reziste prea mult, având în vedere cât de riscantă este ca experiență de shopping.

Cum e posibil să trimiți un colet, care ajunge la easybox sâmbătă după-amiază, și să-l lași acolo doar 36 de ore? Orice companie care trimite colete îți dă 3 zile, mai ales că e week-end și poate ești plecat. De aceea alegi livrare la easybox, să poți ridica coletul când te întorci. Nu și la Vinted, care îl returnează după 36 ore! O dezamăgire totală!
