SO much better than I expected!
My first experience with beef tallow wasn't terrific, the product I had purchased was not pure beef tallow as described and my skin broke out so badly. I was hesitant to try another brand, but a friend told me about this company and gave me a sample size to try. I loved it so much I went and ordered my own and it should be here tomorrow.
So an honest review of the product alone (I ordered the same thing she let me try, the almost unscented balm)..... I ha e used it for a week now, so far no skin issues. I do not like the scent. Just being honest there. It's not awful by any means, but the initial smell is very strongly like when I'm rendering fat for cooking lol. That aside, it does fade quickly and the results are very worth it. The last product I tried from another brand never absorbed. It also had olive oil and beeswax among other things and my chin, especially, broke out badly. Not the case with this tallow. It soaks in pretty quickly, doesn't leave a weird, greasy feel and omgosh my skin feels so much better. I've been using it every night on my heels and hands as well and it has totally healed the sore, cracked skin from constant handwashing. Might try a more scented version next time, but overall I am very impressed with this product and the very fast shipping.
