Had a rep on the line almost immediately. Answered my initial question quickly and effectively. I had a few more questions about the other clubs and she answered them honesty. Very excellent experience.

The wines were good, 85 to 89 pts in my opinion. Nothing exceptional but worth a try.

I am so impressed with Vinesse wines! The quality of the wines are excellent. Their customer service is extremely helpful. I canceled my membership only because the price for continuing was not within my budget. I will most definitely re-subscribe, if I am able to in the future.

Excellent customer service delivered by Gabby! She was able to alter my delivery schedule efficiently. She was a very pleasant person to talk with and get the change accomplished.

1)did not receive wines shown in initial order 2) got a notice in mail showing wines but upon further reading it said if I did nothing they would be sent with my next shipment(forcing wines on people) 3) I was just looking at an e mail I got and the next thing I know I got an e mail confirming my order!! Again forcing wine on people. Disgrace!! Change my rating to ONE star

9/12020: I Grabbed introductory offer from Acorns.com for $40+ called the American Cellars Wine club. While on the site (on a Saturday) I clicked the World of Wines club link to investigate and was IMMEDIATELY charged for joining the new club. I expected to be able to review and confirm before being charged. The total charge to my card was $164, I assumed it was for 12 bottles of wine (6 intro wines + 6 new club wines).

9/14/2020: I could not reach customer service (chat/email ONLY) until after the weekend and by then they said it was too late to cancel. No worries, they stopped any more auto shipping and gave me the option to refuse the shipments in order to get refund. I opted to take the 12 bottles of wine for $164.

9/17/2020: A shipment of 6 bottles arrived. The World of Wine club shipment included only 3 brands (2 of each), not much variety for a club, but the wine was pretty good. I expected the intro shipment later.

10/07/2020: I contacted customer service again to see what happened to my introductory shipment. I was informed, "After reviewing our notes I see that your ACWC membership was cancelled on 09/14/2020 via chat. Therefore your Introductory offer that was scheduled to process on 10/5/20 did not go through because you canceled before this date"...
Furthermore, "...only charged for the TWOW shipment the fee for 6 bottles in the TWOW club is $154.49 plus taxes and surcharges.". I was expecting to start an intro to the club for $40+ for 6 bottles and ended up paying over $27 PER bottle (incl. tax/shipping).

BEWARE the site and the club.
There's no way to see itemized receipts,
there's no confirmation of purchases before being charged,
the CLUB shipments have a small variety (I ONLY got 3 brands).

My first shipment was lost in transit and they replaced it immediately. Great Customer Service.

Rep was very courteous and professional and provided the assistance I needed.

The 1st trial is economical and a regular mid selection.
The 2nd order just becomes to expensive after delivery and state taxes for the quality
Of wine we received. Better off just getting the wine at the local wine shop and purchase what I need at a better price.
So for me is not a value for the quality.

I was introduced by a friend and enjoyed each bottle of reds. Closest i found to my Italian Reds. I since had ordered and now turned on my neighbor and my family. The flavors pair so beautifully with fish and meats no matter what flavor. I encourage you to at least try it. I don't spend much on wine but with this company its worth it. I am sad that i did not keep some of the bottles since they were very unique and can be reused as art. Enjoy the collection from these various vineyards.

The ease of ordering, the quality and variety of the wines and the incredible low prices cause us to always trust and purchase our wines from Vinesse.

Update 10/21/2020- After posting my initial review, the company reached out and sent 4 new bottles of wine. So, while that first box was disappointing, the customer service is outstanding. Updating review to 4 stars.

Original Review: I did this to sample different wine selections, and didn’t get the variety I was expecting. The featured red wine sampler had 6 different bottles, but for the white, I received 3 of the same vintage Chardonnay and 3 of the same Sauvignon Blanc. I guess it’s fine if you trust Vinesse to send you something you’re going to love. But if you don’t love it, you’re stuck with 3 bottles rather than 1.

I had an excellent experience with a very smart and kind young woman who assisted me in my membership questions. She was very patient, and we both learned a few things about wine today!

We have enjoyed all of the red wines. We usually do not drink white wines. I would like to have a way to track an order, after it is confirmed; In order to determine when it will be delivered.
