Edward Whitaker, who manages several branches, brings a big, most welcome breath of fresh air into the estate agency business. I thoroughly recommend him. And I have moved over a dozen times in the past 4 decades.

I am about to complete the purchase on my first home through Vickery, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the team were absolutely amazing. I dealt mainly with Edward and he was brilliant. He was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process.

Buying a house can be stressful (and it was!), but Edward made everything feel smooth and manageable. He kept me informed at every stage, was always available to answer questions, and went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed efficiently for both sides. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. He wanted us to get into the house as much as we did!

All members of the team I dealt with were equally fantastic — friendly, organised, and always willing to help. Their communication and coordination really made a difference, and I felt confident that I was in good hands as a first time buyer.

The whole branch works brilliantly as a team, from senior management to front-line staff. Toby was our main point of contact once a buyer was found, but Edward, Charles, Matthew, and Lewis were all consistently proactive and supportive throughout.

With the purchase of my first home had multiple challenges due to my inexperience, however Toby and Edward conducted the whole process in a professional and reassuring manner.

After the disappointment of missing out on it the first time round they was quick to notify me when it returned to market and get me in contact with the seller.

The weekly progress updates was a nice touch and being in contact with my solicitor and broker directly sped up the process to approximately 12 weeks including Christmas shutdown.

If/when I come to sell my property I’ll definitely be in contact with them to assist me again

Toby and Lewis were helpful throughout and communication was great.

The staff at Vickery’s are delightful to deal with. They are unfailingly polite, helpful and hard working. Selling a house, particularly using a Lasting Power of Attorney, is stressful. Vickery staff eased the process. Edward, Matthew and Lewis have been delightful to work with.

We have just brought our first home and Jordan was was beyond fantastic within this process. We ran into quite a few delays (not with the estate agents) and Jordan went above and beyond to try and get the issues solved as soon as possible. We didn’t have the most smooth sailing experience of selling our house, a few hurdles got in the way to say the least but by no fault of the estate agents.
