I found this company on the internet as I was moving back to the UK from Toronto, Canada. From the very first contact they were excellent! I dealt with John, who answered all of my questions and gave sound advice and guidance throughout. Every time I emailed I received an almost immediate reply. The move has gone extremely well and our furniture and boxes arrived here in the UK last week. John arranged everything from pick up in Toronto, to shipment, and final delivery in the UK. The crew who came to pick up our furniture were excellent. They wrapped everything with great care. There was an online tracking service where I could track the ship's voyage. The ship was briefly delayed in Bremerhaven, but I received a phone call from the UK agents to inform me of the delay. Their partners in the UK, J A Coles were equally helpful and were in touch as soon as our shipment docked in the UK. I got a number of quotes from different companies in Canada, and I chose ViaMar Scilla not only on price, but on the way they responded to my questions. They were professional, helpful and provided great guidance throughout. I am happy to recommend this company to anyone who needs this type of service.

Not worth one star quite frankly. After quite a bit of difficulty dealing with a certain employee who runs Oshawa side of operations we were unceremoniously dumped out of the blue! With classic phrase " our average shipment is 10,000 and you are asking 20 times the questions"! Oh you mean like why you couldn't even put my surname on legal forms to sign? How much do you want me to pay and how? Plus other simple questions... Obviously our 2 crates at 650 plus 150 insurance and 25 handling fees too small fry for them. If that the case then why mess us around for nearly 2 weeks? Could it be this seemingly sole employee at this centre isn't up to the job? So rude, arrogant, and complaining to head office was a horrible experience. Statements like " what do you want me to do about it, ring him up and shout at him?" I mean seriously? Case of they got enough business, although seemingly chaotic, and little person gets the boot! I would not recommend this company to anybody! As it happens it was a blessing in disguise as quickly found a much better freight firm who wanted our business and at a much cheaper price!
