Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review; I only wish we could have achieved a higher rating from you.
With regards to the number of emails you received (12 according to our system, including seven unpaid invoice reminders and one invitation to review us), I can only apologise for this. You are not the first to comment on the emails, and we are looking into it. Unfortunately, the majority of our emails are sent automatically from our system, which only accommodates a 'one rule for all' approach, so we are unable to tailor the frequency of emails on an individual basis.
Your opinion of not having to do much work demonstrates the misconception that graphic and illustrative work is quick and easy. We firstly visited your bar, Captain Will's in Filey, to obtain a photograph of your logo from the artwork on your wall. We then imported it onto our computer and traced it by hand to form a vectorised version of the logo as you were unable to provide a high-resolution version yourself. We then featured this vectorised version on the A5 notepads that you ordered initially to give a crisp, high-resolution finish. Only when you had received this artwork did you ask us to amend the specification and provide an A6 notepad instead and so we had to scale and rearrange the artwork to suit a smaller artboard. For all of this, we only charged you for two hours of labour, with no additional expense for travel or delivery of the printed goods to your partner's place of work as requested.
With regards to not signing an agreement, this was our trust based on the working history we have with your partner for his separate company. Had we known that you would not extend the same goodwill by refusing to pay us, then we would have been sure to follow our company procedure. It is vital that you remember that like beer is your product, our time is ours, and it is not free. We make little profit from our print - enough to cover our running costs when providing printed products to our clients.

I'm happy to have made my choice with Viable Design. I'm happy with the appearance and content of the site and sub folders. I would recommend VD to others as well. I did feel there was too much "ping pong" of emails. I feel this could have been reduced by both sides if a list of requirements had been sent out in the beginning so we both knew what was expected from the other side. I was also a bit confused that the design company said they would do the text when in fact I wrote some of (50 - 60%) it as well. These are not severe criticisms just a bit of confusion which I feel led to make the time for completion run on a bit.

I am so pleased with my new website thanks to Will and Steve! They answered all my emails, listened to all of my ideas and completed so many changes until I was completely happy. They are super efficient and explained anything throughout the process, even a couple of months after when I forgot how to change something myself.

Having trusted Viable Design with my marketing for over two years now, I am proud to launch their latest creation to represent my business.
In 2016, having seen their efforts with a local community interest development, I engaged them to redevelop my website. As 2018 comes to an end, I wanted a new style, new design, new functionality for my online presence in the new year and Viable Design approached each feature with enthusiam, delivering what was promised, when it was promised.
