I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent work carried out by Andrew Wilson.

From the very first visit, Andrew demonstrated outstanding professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. He conducted a thorough inspection of the property, identified all potential entry points used by the rats, and ensured that each one was properly sealed. He also took the time to explain the work he had carried out, giving us complete confidence that the problem was being addressed correctly.

Before Andrew’s intervention, we were extremely distressed and felt helpless. The rat problem had become a constant source of worry and anxiety in our home. We were genuinely desperate and did not know what else to do.

Thanks to Andrew’s diligence, knowledge, and determination, the issue was resolved quickly and effectively. There is now no sign of any rat activity whatsoever. The follow-up inspection confirmed that all access points remained secure, the traps showed no further activity, and the problem had been successfully eliminated.

Thanks to Andrew’s work, we can finally live in our home with peace of mind again. It truly feels as though he saved us from a very stressful and upsetting situation. His expertise, dedication, and commitment to solving the problem have made an enormous difference to our lives.

On Tuesday 26th May, one of your technicians arrived at our home with no prior notice, no phone call, and no email confirmation. My wife was about to leave for work but allowed him in, assuming it was a legitimate appointment.

Before I left the house, I had placed £230 in cash in a visible spot in our living room. During the initial walkthrough, the technician passed the money and it was clearly in his line of sight. My wife then picked up the cash, counted it (£230 confirmed), and placed it in her handbag, which she left on the stairs.

She stepped into the back room to do some laundry while he worked on the ground floor. He repeatedly asked to go upstairs without any clear reason, which she declined. When he finished, he had my wife sign off on the work and left.

Immediately after he walked out, my wife went to the stairs and checked her handbag. The cash was still inside but had clearly been disturbed and was not how she had left it. She counted it and found only £130 remaining. £100 was missing. She called me straight away and I confirmed the original amount was £230.

We reported this to the company and have been left deeply disappointed by their response. They have wasted our time and have not taken this matter seriously at all, which is extremely concerning given the severity of what occurred.

We have since reported the incident to the Metropolitan Police. We are sharing this publicly to warn other customers and to make clear that this behaviour is not acceptable. A member of their staff allegedly stole from inside our home and the company has done nothing meaningful about it.

Mark was great today at our store, very friendly guy and does a great efficient job .

Absolutely terrible service. Engineers have missed repeated appointments despite confirming both via text and phone that they would attend. When they *have* come it’s been on the wrong day. The one appointment we had consisted of the engineer refusing to lift boards, advising against poison or traps, advising that it wasn’t worth investigating drains and basically saying once you have rats or mice you can’t get rid of them. A complete waste of time. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Excellent service. The operative, Chelsi, was very professional, very thorough, spent a long time examining the whole house including loft, garden and even the hard to get to space under the house. Kept us well informed throughout and was very reassuring.

I had a problem with squirells in my loft in october, rang Mission and Kathy got Dan out the next day, after 2 months and 2 traps and a camera we caught one, had a hole blocked up in my facia board and so far so good, Dan was very nice, very easy to talk to and reassuring that everything would be alright in the end, would not hesitate at recomending this company, great work guys

We have been fortunate with all the staff we have visit site from Vergo, they are diligent, knowledgeable and helpful.

Mark Donaghy is currently looking after the site and always has a friendly manner. He keeps conversations concise and speaks to everyone he sees. He has given very clear direction on what to do if we suspect pests and explained the way in which Vergo can prevent them.

Chris Matthews is absolutely brilliant. Always comes with a great attitude and is always a good laugh. Definitely helped with our pest problem.

The two gentlemen Dodge and Bill were very lovely and courteous. They were very motivated to help us, they had a great attention to detail and spent hours making sure everything was perfect for us. They were so friendly and polite and I have insisted that if we need revisits, that it be these two that come back!

This has genuinely been the worst experience I have ever had with a company and I don’t say that lightly. While the technicians themselves were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, the customer service and administrative side of the business have been an absolute nightmare to deal with.

We waited well over a month for our final visit, and during that time we were repeatedly told that “someone will be coming on [specific date],” only for no one to show up, not once, but multiple times. Each time we called to follow up, we were informed that the appointment had been “rescheduled,” yet no one ever contacted us to let us know. This cycle of misinformation and lack of communication went on for over a month, leaving us completely frustrated and without any clear answers.

I made several requests to speak directly with a manager in hopes of resolving the issue, but every time I was assured that “someone will call you back.” Not once did that actually happen. It’s extremely disappointing to be promised follow-up after follow-up and never receive a single call.

This wasn’t just a one-time issue, we had almost the exact same problem during our very first appointment with this company. It’s become clear that this isn’t an isolated case of bad luck, but a pattern of poor communication and disorganisation within their customer service department.

To make matters worse, at one point during all this back and forth, I could actually hear staff members in the background laughing about my situation while I was on the phone expressing frustration and simply asking for an update. Although an apology was later offered, it was completely inappropriate and incredibly unprofessional. It made me feel disrespected as a customer and confirmed how poorly communication and professionalism are handled within their office.

It’s such a shame, because the technicians on-site were genuinely great and did their job well. Unfortunately, their efforts are completely overshadowed by the unprofessionalism and lack of accountability on the administrative side. I’ve never encountered a company that made it this difficult just to get a straight answer or a reliable appointment.

If you’re considering using this company, be prepared for constant rescheduling, unanswered calls, and zero follow-up from management. The field workers deserve praise, but the office staff and customer service system desperately need a complete overhaul.

Mark Donaghy is a man who knows his Rats. He attended to deal with a situation I had, was very professional, polite and friendly and explained everything I wanted to know in detail. And he sorted my problem. I would highly recommend Mark to everyone.

Mark Donaghy the operative was friendly informative and was able to explain things in simple language. We had suspected birds/rats in the attic and after an inspection he was able to identify the issue. He set traps and poison together with a motion activated camera. Within the three visits and based on his actions and advice we seem to be rid of the problem. Great service and advice. I would recommend this operative for anyone with similar issues.
