I ordered a 6m x 4m Skillion Prefabricated Steel Frame for over $3,000 including delivery. My experience was very disappointing.

Despite paying for delivery to a residential address, the consignment was unilaterally sent to a regional depot instead. The shipment was described as a single pallet measuring only 2.4m x 490mm x 270mm and weighing 78.1kg. For a 6m x 4m steel frame of this value, that left me seriously questioning whether I had actually received the complete product ordered, particularly as the principal frame members would need to make up a 6m x 4m structure. Vendome confirmed that this was the complete consignment.

This concern was particularly troubling given the number of other customer reviews reporting poor communications, delivery problems and, in some cases, incomplete frame orders.

I ultimately had to pursue the matter through my credit-card provider, while Vendome countered the claim with legal threats through an organisation called Recovaxis. My claim was upheld, with the credit-card provider confirming that the merchant had accepted liability for the payment.

My advice is simple: read the independent reviews carefully and think twice before pressing the “Buy” button. I wish I had.

I ordered $20,000 worth of product from this company and paid in full. 5 months later and I've had no communication from them since. They never answer their phones nor respond to emails.
Today I recieved an email from Trust Pilot saying that this company had flagged my review as defamatory. Shortly after this I recieved another email from Trust Pilot saying that they had reviewed my been assesed and found no defamatory content.
Seems that this company will try to quash bad reviews

Purchased Modern vaulted roof pitch prefabricated frame 6x3m steel structure sleek modern design.

Installation instructions for the product was not provided, customer service keep advising to install then contact them with photos for how to install apex.

Multiple components missing: components for the central main beam of the Apex and middle beams have not been supplied and 4 reinforcing brackets missing.

Have lodged appropriate complaints with governing bodies.

Placed order in March. Paid 8k. It's almost August now. Haven't received my order yet. Spoke w/some guy on the phone. He told me he wasn't paid enough to deal with my situation. Was putting me on hold every time I called to inquire about my order. Got tracking #. Order is continuing to sit in Sydney warehouse somewhere. However, I paid for delivery to home address in Melbourne suburb. They will be sued for inconvenience and financial loss, because my project is on hold because of them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Update: asked my bank to help me in getting my money back from this company. The bank resolved the problem &got my money back.
Instead of apologizing for poor service, Vendomeliving tried to intimidate me with legal action 😆 They are ridiculous.

I placed an order for panelling on 17 October 2025 and paid approximately $2,400 upfront. At the time, I was advised delivery would take 4 to 6 weeks.

After that timeframe passed, I was repeatedly told the product was on backorder. I waited patiently for several months and continued to follow up, but communication was poor and updates were minimal.

After approximately four months of delays, I cancelled the order by both email and phone and requested a refund. Despite cancelling the order, I later received a call from a transport company asking whether I still wanted delivery. I advised that the order had been cancelled. The caller would not identify who they were calling on behalf of and the number could not be called back.

Since then, I have made countless attempts to contact the company by phone and email. On one occasion I was hung up on, and on another I spent 23 minutes on hold before being disconnected. For the past six weeks, I have received no response to calls or emails.

The most concerning issue is that the company has retained my $2,400 for almost a year, despite the order being cancelled months ago. I have now contacted Consumer Affairs and the ACCC due to the lack of communication and progress on obtaining a refund.

My experience has been extremely disappointing. All I am seeking is communication and the return of the money owed to me.

Strong and solid flooring. Easy to install and good for outdoor use.
It looks durable and suitable for long-term outdoor applications.

I bought the external cement floor sheeting for an outdoor weekend project. I had a few questions about the product and when I rang all my questions were answered professionally. I had my product delivered, but you can pickup as well. Sheeting arrived on time and I was able to complete my weekend Dyi project, no problem. Was very happy with the quality, would definitely deal with them again. 5 star

My partner and I used the super Duty External Cement Floor Sheet Tongue and Groove for an outdoor desk we were putting together and honestly it worked really well. The tongue and groove edges made it pretty easy to fit the pieces together. It feels super solid and has held up great against weather so far - no warping or crashing. The size is good too, helped cover the area quickly. Would definitely use this product again and highly recommend it to others.

Delivered on time and matched the product specs. The 19 mm thickness gives real toughness and durability. Once sealed it copes well with weather and traffic. No issues during installation.

Terrible communication - product not delivered.
Ordered 13 cement sheets at the end of November. Early January I followed up as I had heard nothing - was told the product takes 5 weeks to be in stock - and I had to wait until the warehouse was back. Heard nothing.
Followed up end of Jan - told there was an attempt to deliver but as there was no one to help off load it was sent back to somewhere else.
I had received NO notification AT ALL that it was being sent. So how could I know to be home? They then decided to organise it being sent out again without communicating with me - I have been give a vague timeline "within the week".
My partner who will need to help off load will not be here as he will be returning to work. I have been told the drivers do not offload at all. This is not my first time ordering building materials & never have I faced such a ridiculous scenario RE delivery. Its not an envelope! Its large and valuable. Delivery communication is ESSENTIAL.
Will be asking for my money back. We needed the materials in January so we could use them while my partner was in his break from work.
Communication is appalling.
Better off spending a little more & buying James Hardie from a hardware store
