Imported a Lexus is300h F-sport from Japan through Ola at Velaron. The service and communication was so clear and professional, I was worried and a bit skeptical at the start due to this being my first time importing a car and not only that I was also trusting someone I had never met before with my money and doing it all for me so I didn’t know what to expect a lot of things going through my head, but from my first contact with him through instagram and WhatsApp I was reassured that it was a smooth and simple process, couple months later here I am writing a 5 star review about his service. He keeps you completely in the loop with everything that’s going on from selecting the perfect car at the auction (if you are picky like me then it might take a little longer) to proof of invoice, shipping times etc and he is super transparent about what you can expect to be spending on VAT,customs clearance and VRT when the car actually arrives in the country. He even helped me organise a truck to bring the car half way down the country to where I live. The car came in perfect condition inside and outside even better than I expected to be honest, only issue was the battery was flat even after a couple days charging so had to buy a new one but that is expected when a car hasn’t been driven for so long. Overall I would recommend Ola at Velaron 10 times over to anyone that wants to import a car from Japan.

In the end, the car arrived in great condition and matched my expectations, so I’m happy with the purchase.

For improvement, clearer upfront communication around timelines and setting realistic expectations would make the experience even better.

I found them on Instagram, and even though they had a small following, I still took a chance because I know what it's like trying to get your name out there, having started a business myself. So, I trusted them and believed in the brand. With that, I ordered a 2019 Mercedes S450 (it was meant to be a 2018, but I got a 2019!). I couldn't be happier with the results, the car, the way it looks, the immaculate paintwork on the body the car looks brand new. Everything about the car is amazing. I even brought it to Mercedes-Benz in Dublin once the car arrived to make sure everything was alright, and they told me it was perfect, with no faults. I couldn't be happier. Even though I had to wait a couple of months, it was well worth it. I'll definitely be recommending them to anyone looking to import cars from Japan and save money, or even to buy and sell them. I'll be back for more cars and will be sending all my friends through. The whole process was good, and I'm grateful and happy with the car I got.
