Great Treatment, But Warning: The "Included Top-Ups" are a Pricing TrickI had a very positive experience with the actual varicose vein treatment at VeinCentre. The medical staff were highly professional, and my legs look and feel much better. However, I am leaving a 3-star review due to a serious lack of upfront financial transparency regarding post-treatment care.VeinCentre heavily promotes that foam injection top-ups are "included" in the main treatment price. What they don't explicitly tell you upfront is that you are forced to pay a mandatory £250 gatekeeper fee for a follow-up scan just to find out if you even need them. A patient cannot safely access these "included" top-ups without this appointment, making the word "included" highly misleading.In my case, it feels like a total con. My follow-up appointment lasted less than 2 minutes. I didn't even need any extra injections—I am being billed £250 simply for someone to look at my legs for 120 seconds and tell me they look fine. To make matters worse, the front desk team let me walk completely out of the building without mentioning a balance, only to send an invoice later.It is incredibly ironic that the clinic was pushing me to leave a review while simultaneously blindsiding me with hidden bills. The clinical care is fantastic, but the administration side uses very sneaky, contradictory pricing logic. Be prepared for an extra £250 paywall at the end.

Thank you to the VeinCentre practice in Richmond Upon Thames. Reception staff were welcoming and efficient and the clinic was immaculate. My vascular surgeon, Dr Nung Rudarakanchana, was excellent. She understood my concerns and was very reassuring about the procedures. The care I received was outstanding and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend the clinic in Richmond.
