My first order through Veenas as I used to love Priya Pickles & became quite addicted but haven't managed to find them with a sensible delivery or fair price for quite a while. For some reason this brand just isn't so easy to find either locally or online, but in my opinion blow the socks off most other makes & well known brands for consistency & lovely hot & tangy flavours so I was stoked to find them again. So I've stocked up but wouldn't hesitate to use Veenas again. They delivered on the requested date & I was fully updated by DHL with various emails. The jars were in a double box with a receipt & packaged really well in rather fantastically strong air cushioned bags with cardboard sandwiched in between the jars inside for protection from any 'Over Enthusiastic' handling, which, let's face it, we all know can happen with couriers.

I cannot even give this company 1 star, rather 5 negative.
I ordered food which arrived damaged becuase they posted frozen items. They purportedly were packed okay for upto 3 days, but I delayed the order not realising they were being posted without refrigeration. There is no way these items could have stayed frozen over 3 days in June the way they were packeged. Absolute Con.
I was cut off on the phone, twice. They claimed I had no right at all.
Out of an order which was over £40, they would not even refund me under £7 worth of items or resend them.
They were rude, extremely rude and unhelpful
There are plenty of other businesses sellng such products, why would I ever to to them again?
They should have warned me the items would be shipped without refrigeration so not to delay delivery if I was at work.
I also live in the sticks and often receive orders late and I do not believe they even checked if my delivery was late anyway.
I think they were rude and I suspect there was some racial prejudice going on against the english too, although I am not english, I just have an english accent.

Worst ever online service! waiting for 2days order is not delivered they keep updating my address with DHL get a message driver hasnt got your address now they cant cancel my order and return my money. Am not going to recommend veenas to anyone.

I have been making online purchases over last 6 years and service had been good overall.
However in my most recent purchase, they have not refunded for an item not available and another one not delivered.
I was promised that an email will be sent confirming the refund and amount will be credited to my bank account within 3-5 working days but still no refund or email.
Really disappointing service !

First time buying at this shop and I had a great experience. I paid £6 for delivery as I didn't order too much and I got my items delivered with care and fresh items, also it was delivered after 2 days I placed the order. Thank you!

Great service, again. Shopping at Veena's has almost become addictive. Feels like going to a grocery store back home, with added convenience. Wide range of items, including fresh veggies and fruits, delivered with care. Highly recommended!

It’s more than 2 week’s ,now, my daughter’s order remains undelivered. Veenas are tied with shippers who randomly leave the parcel at any doorstep and walk away. They have been asking me to wait with one reply as Dpd is looking for the box. It’s 15 days now and the response is same. Neither are they responding to refund nor arranging to deliver. Take care before you place an order with Veena’s.

Veena Stores is amazing! We find everything an Indian kitchen needs. They are always well stocked and have good variety of products on offer. Also, we are able to find fresh vegetables, which are always delivered fresh.

Ordered a couple of times from Veena’s over the festive period. All of the produce was amazing quality and I got great customer service when they needed to substitute a product.
I just love the fresh Paprika peppers roasted in the oven.

selling Beef in store , not going again....

Had placed an order which eventually wasn't satisfied as there were missing orders.
Tried to reach out the team by email and call which is of no use and there's no reply for missing products
The products are not secured with temperature control or like which eventually spoils the products and when asked they say it is because of delivery team which is a very careless answer
The delivery is not good very negligible customer service

Such a mistake ordering with this website, they only delivered less that quarter of the stuff I ordered.
I paid extra to receive the package on the weekend and now they don’t even give me an ETA on the rest of my stuff and assume that my time is useless and I should wait around according to them on a weekday.
Sorry but this is highly disappointing and PLEASE DONT EVER WASTE MONEY ON THIS WEBSITE!

Their customer service has been next to non-existent. I have tried to contact them several times over the past few days about a product, and they keep saying they will surely get back to me by text or email but have done nothing. I have chased them every day and it has now been a week.. still no action. The same happened even a few months back when trying to place another order. Why have a 24/7 online customer care, if your are not going to provide customer service?

Very high price . You will save a ton of money if you shop directly or some other sites. Frozen fish prices are 200 percent more than what diamond and Neptune sell in UK... . Many other sites available online with cheaper rates... Totally avoid and don't buy from them
