Vamos Paella are wonderful! I recently used them for a rather hastily-arranged 60th birthday party for 75 guests in a friend's garden in London, and Melissa and the team could not have been more helpful. With just a few weeks' lead-in time and numbers uncertain, Melissa was very flexible over the final menu, numbers of waiting staff and so on, for which I was very grateful! We ended up with three different paellas plus tapas, and the food could not have been more delicious – many of my guests (including several fussy Spaniards!) commented on how fabulous it was. Several had second helpings! The chefs Adrian and Szymon arrived two hours early and had to put up their gazebo on a rather constricted site, but after we cut down some extra branches for them (!), they happily set up shop and were delightful, helpful and charming all night. They also packed up and left while the party was still going, and nobody noticed! I can unhesitatingly recommend Vamos Paella for any party or celebration, they are professional, friendly and accommodating, they use top quality suppliers (including Brindisa) and their food is delicious. Melissa and Vamos: thank you so much for everything!

A huge thank you to Vamos Paella for hosting a fantastic event for us on Friday. From the start they were so helpful and professional and the party ran without a hitch. I recently attended an event where Vamos Paellla were providing the food. Everything was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Three options of paella to suit every taste. Extremely friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

Melissa and the team at Vamos were great. The food for our wedding was just incredible. It has been a few months since our big day, and people are still commenting about how delicious it was.

The process was easy leading up to the day. I think we changed our menu options numerous times when our RSVPs started to come back. Was also a fantastic day out to try the food before the wedding day.

Vamos made the day easier by providing staff, table cloths, cutlery, and even helped us to set up on the day. Our Maitre d was attentive, sorting out the bar staff and waiters, as well as a bunch of excited wedding guests.

Would definitely recommend!

Vamos Paella catered for my 50th birthday party and the paella, service and whole experience was excellent.
Th initial contact with Melissa was many months before the party, when she explained how the process worked and the different kinds of paella and options.
I ended up going for a chicken/chorizo, seafood and a vegan option (asparagus, mushroom, peppers and hazelnuts), which was just outstanding.

A few weeks bfire the event, Melissa contacted me again to discuss the details and final arrangements. I confess that I was a bit nervous about hiring catering without trying first, as it was a recommendation from a friend, but I could not be happier with what I got.
The presentation of the 3 paellas, salad and breads, the caterers, paper boxes and wood disposable cutlery, and slick marque were classy and complemented seamlessly all the carefully planned party set up.
Could not thank Vamos Paella enough for the outstanding service.

Melissa and Marcin catered for our wedding in September and we couldn't be more pleased that we chose them! They provided canapes, three different types of paella and a wedding cheese cake. Everything tasted delicious and all of our guests said how much they loved the food (and how generous the portions were)! You could tell straight away that the quality of the ingredients were top-notch.

Melissa and Marcin provided us with an excellent service from start to finish - always very responsive, helpful and kind. Everything on the day ran smoothly - they arrived early and liaised with the two waiting staff we'd employed.

We would also recommend the tasting session at Melissa's house which we did - this gave us a really great opportunity to try different paellas and canapes (and is very good value for the amount of food you can try)! Initially, we were only going to order the paellas and cheese cake, but were so blown away by the canapes during the tasting that we decided to order these too (the chorizo sausages are out of this world)!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Melissa and Marcin to cater for your event (and in fact many of our wedding guests asked for their details)!

We live in Berkshire so away from their Brighton base but everything went exactly to plan. The website provides lots of info and the initial enquiry was quickly answered by Melissa. Booking process very fair with initial deposit to confirm and then final payment and on the day we knew the names in advance of who would be cooking for us and they just cracked on from set up to clearing everything away as though they had never been! Lots of praise from our guests from the quality of the food to the friendly service. No hesitation in recommending Vamos Paella

We cannot thank Vamos enough for the wonderful food and service at our wedding. The paella's were authentic and delicious and the service from initial enquiry to our wedding was excellent. Melissa spent time on the phone going through our day and at times it felt like we had our own personal wedding planner! Friends and family commented on how great the food was and the day ran smoothly.

Vamos Paella catered for our wedding on 17th August and they did an absolutely amazing job - all of our guests commented how delicious the food was! The service was impeccable, you just went above and beyond and for that we are so so grateful! We couldn’t have imagined anyone we would rather have catering for our wedding and would definitely recommend them to everyone. From the tasting in Brighton, to the help with putting together the running order of the day, to the prompt response to my many many questions you were amazing and took away a lot of the stress that comes with organising a wedding in the middle of a field! Vamos Paella catered for our wedding at the end of June. From the first contact they were excellent, with quick responses/lots of help deciding about food etc, coping with numerous different dietary requirements etc. We had an excellent tasting session in Brighton for us and parents.

They were very helpful in the run up to the wedding, advising on staffing needs and with late changes to the menu and sourcing crockery etc last minute for us. They also sourced staff etc, which again was one less thing to worry about.

The fact that VP didn't need electricity/gas etc. was a real bonus as our venue didn't have any! They were also flexible on the day, helped serve our wedding cake as a desert and served tea and coffee for us.

The food itself was delicious and we got lots of compliments from wedding guests.

Vamos catered our wedding (140 people) on 20th July, and we could not have been more pleased. It was absolutely delicious, and we had complements throughout the night.

There was SO much food with ample for seconds (occasionally thirds...) and plenty left over. They boxed up all the remaining paella, enough for a late-night snack or two...

They also provided staff for the evening. We barely noticed they were there, which I mean as a complement! The staff were professional, went above and beyond, and really added to the smooth running of the event. Food was served quickly (which had been a concern of ours in the run up given our numbers)

Pricing was very fair, and was similar to - if not a little cheaper than - similar services on both food and staffing.

I would thoroughly recommend Vamos to anyone considering this type of thing for their event. Thank you so much Melissa and your team for being part - and making a real success - of our day :)

The occasion was my 60th birthday, held in a marquee with a band, disco and an outrageous amount of alcohol served! We had never heard of Vamos when we booked them and were in slight trepidation whether they could ‘cut the mustard’. We needn’t have worried, the food was delicious, plentiful and filling! The prawns were enormous! The chefs could not have been more charming and obliging, they served 170 people with ease and no flapping. Our guests were also delighted! Well done.

Outstanding food and very friendly service

Thanks so much for providing lovely food on Saturday. The chefs Kathryn and Oz were really friendly and everything went smoothly. Everybody thought the food was delicious. You’ll probably get some more bookings as one friend is a party planner!!

Just the job! Did exactly what was asked for - turned up on time, cleaned up thoroughly, either side of cooking and serving really delicious food. Very easy to deal with as well.

We spoke to a number other paella companies before we hired Vamos Paella for my 50th birthday party. We went with Vamos as we had a really good feel from our conversations with Melissa that she understood exactly what we wanted from the party. The paellas prepared by Edita and Meriel were fantastic. We did not tell anyone beforehand what was being served so it was a great surprise and went down really well. Since the party we have had so many people saying how great the food was. Many thanks to Melissa, Edita and Meriel for everything they did to make the food exceptional and add to a great 50th.
