Super customer service
Super customer service. Rachelle at the corporate office is very helpful as well as everybody at the counter. Thanks for making it so easy to rent a car.
Will not help get deposit released & NASTY female that answered the phone!
We returned our car on March 4. To date, we still have NOT received our $500 deposit.
I called the bank. They need a merchant letter to release the hold, which we won’t get until Monday IF they would have helped!
They said they won’t provide that service. I was listening to the negative customer rep. I wasn’t saying anything. She just said over & over the same thing— and then she hung up on me!
I will NEVER use this 1.4 rated place EVER again!
They can keep your deposit up to 30 days now.
The bank wanted a merchant letter to release the $500 hold! “We don’t do that.” I had questions, but she hung up on me anyway.
I am so upset. No one cares! If they allow people just to hang up on you, the customer, they DO NOT care. I am only asking them to do their job!
She then said, “that’s not our problem!”
Nasty I can’t even call her a lady.
Run away!!
Run away! It looks the cheapest but they'll rip you off with hidden fees
If i could put 0 stars i would
If i could put 0 stars i would. Accusing us of damage to interior we didnt do. They are trying to charge 5000 dollars. Its a scam.
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company, they will rip you off! Prepaid for a rental in Salt Lake City, when we arrived, waited 80 min for a shuttle, when it finally arrived the driver said there were no more cars and not to get on the bus, find another car rental company, which we did. Subsequently Easirent refused to refund our prepayment, even though they were not able to provide a car. Total scam!
Easirent doesn’t honor Priceline
Wow, after reading a bunch of the reviews and none of them are good probably 19 out of 20 or bad. I wish I would’ve went on here first especially reading the part about you. Don’t get your security deposit back which I won’t hesitate to take them to court so let me tell you my experience just like basically all of what I’m reading easy rent does not honor any discounts from any club members ship that you have I use Priceline in the quote I was given was not the price going out the door that I was quoted. I was quoted 235 for a one week rental, which I told them I need the vehicle for two weeks so with taxes I should’ve been paying over a little over 600 bucks when I told the guy at the counter about my confirmation with Priceline he didn’t even wanna look at it and I asked them were you gonna look at this? He said no I just need the confirmation number.
Then he quoted me $1065 for a two week rental and a $500 deposit which he said I would get back so we will see. Also I needed to extend my rental for two days because my vehicle is not gonna be finished with the mechanic tomorrow so I had to extend it until Monday so basically my $512 weekly rental for two more days they want $208. The hidden fees are just coming out of the woodwork like termites what I don’t understand is how this company has been in business for years with all these terrible reviews. Is anyone not going to the Better Business Bureau or taking them the small claims court because that’s what I’m going to do stay far away from this company read the reviews. Do not understand how this company is in business.
Darwin Jones was great when I needed to…
Darwin Jones was great when I needed to keep the car a few more hours. I have consistently received great service and light banter whenever I go in. They are my first option always.
WORST CAR Rental Ever
WORST CAR Rental Ever! DO NOT RENT!! They have the best prices but is just a strategy to lock you in. Once you arrive the extra fees start pilling up. We prepaid $153 for pickup Wednesday night and return Sunday midday. We arrived past our pickup time (7pm) due to flight delays and took the last service shuttle (10 pm) to their location. First we were greeted by a $50 charge because we were late, then they asked us where we headed (Lawton, OK) which they consider out of state which added another $50 per day. Our $153 car rental is at $493. With taxes and fees we end it up paying $600 for 4 days for a Fiat 500. Because of work I travel a lot! I have never experienced anything like this with the big companies at the airport. STAY AWAY!!! From this Car Rental Company.
Force us to take their rental car insurance
Force us to take their RENTAL CAR LIABILITY INSURANCE (RCLI) that was covered by my American Express Supplemental insurance in addition refused to take Aviva travel insurance that specifically states coverage up to 2000,000 sterling for bodily injury to another person. The desk person said our company does not accept that insurance, If I had tried to cancel the rental (that had been made less than an two hours before we visited the location) we would be charged three days rental
Insurance ripoff
I rented a car in Las Vegas, was not able to show proof of insurance that night. Went back the next day with proof of insurance and was told I would be refunded for the unused days, that did not happen. they would not provide a paper copy of transactions and did not send email confirmation. Tried filing a complaint on line but no satisfaction. Stay away.
rented a car Oct 25 phoenix location
rented a car Oct 25 phoenix location, we had to wait over a hour outside for the shuttle, bus to take us 3 miles away to rental office, I ordered a full size car and they only had 5 subcompact suvs the cqr they gave me would not fit my luggage in the trunk and it was Dirty outside, clean outside, the car had no issued and was the cheapest I could find for a full size care. which I did not get after waiting over 1 1/2 hrs
Easirent was awful to deal with
Easirent was awful to deal with. I booked with them due to price. I searched for airport car rentals in Phoenix and they were included in the list, despite the fact that they were actually located miles away. I waited in line for over an hour and during that time they “helped” one person in front of me and let two people cut in line for some reason unknown to the rest of us. The guy working the counter was surly and unhelpful. Will not use them ever again.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Easi Car Rental. The customer service was poor, and I was unexpectedly charged for going out of the state of Nevada. They were supposed to charge $25 per day, but instead, they charged me for six full days even though I only went out of state once.
They also tried to add insurance charges that I did not agree to. On top of that, the car they provided had mechanical issues — it was vibrating excessively in the front, making the drive uncomfortable and concerning.
I’ve rented from many other companies before and have never experienced anything like this. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, both in terms of customer service and vehicle quality. I would not use their services again and definitely would not recommend them to others
No refunds on early returns and insurance problems!
The problems I had renting from with Easirent!
1). They did not do refunds on early returns.
2). The car was hit in Family Dollar parking lot and they are telling me that I have to be responsible for the damage because I do not have a police report when here I paid $438 for collision & liability insurance on the car. And then also considering that when I went to the police station I was told that I could not file a police report because the accident occurred on private property.
Buyer Beware of extra charges
I made a reservation picking up at the Dallas LUV airport and returning at the DFW location. The rate was great, actually too great. BUYER BEWARE. When I got to their small gross office they started with a $100 drop off fee which was not noted on-line. In addition since I was going to Oklahoma for 2 days I would be paying $25/day more! Again not noted on-line. The lady at the desk seemed to care less. There were many customers from Texas who were upset that they had to pay a higher deposit. I started to feel like the company is a scam so I refused the rental and went to Alamo and paid a $150 more for piece of mind. Night and day experience.
I had tried previously tried to rent from Easirent at DFW but the line was so long I left.
OK People
OK People, You have been warned! Before you book from Easirent READ the reviews!!!! Horrible experience. Picked up car OUTSIDE of Tampa, Fla airport. Office was disgusting. It was raining that day & there was a bucket in the middle of the office due tot he fact that rain was poring thru the roof??? OK, that should have been the 1st sign of what was to come. Like many other reviews, they made me pay for Insurance coverage even though I declined because I didnot have my Ins. declaration with me???? who carries there Ins. declaration? Other bogus charges also. I called & spoke to a manager the next day, who I would like to name, but won't because she is & was useless. She told us she would credit the entire amount of the ins. coverage charge if we DROVE back to Tampa to sign a new contract !!!! I had emailed her my Car ins. declaration. We drove an hour+ back to their disgusting office to sign a new contact removing the charge, but then was told that they could only refund pro rated from the day I came back? What a bunch of bull & I still have not recieved the refund !!!! I am disputing the entire charge with my CC co. & filing a complaint with the BBB & the Attny General office in FLA. This company should be SHUT DOWN!
Do not rent from easirent
Do not rent from easirent. What a scam. I rented a car for my son to travel from Utah to Colorado. He became ill and was hospitalized. The car was going to be a day late, so I kept intouch with Andrew. He was very kind and told me he would waive the late fee. I received my Visa bill and the original charge was $202.04. On top of that there was a $500. charge and today I receive another $101.45 charge. Trying to deal with them is a nightmare. Andrew claimed that we didn't tell him the car was going out of state. There is nowhere in the contract that says you can't leave the state. I have been working with my bank to vet it resolved, but I dont have much hope A simple car rental of $202.04 has turned into an $803.49 nightmare. DO NOT RENT FROM EASIRENT. IT'S A SCAM!
They are a scam company masked as a rental company
Do not deal with Easirent. they are a scam company masked as a car rental company. Here's my experience with them: On June 29, 2025, I was told by the guy at the counter that the Tire & Glass Coverage would not be charged for rentals of up to six days, but for rentals of seven days or longer, I would be required to pay $11.99 per day. I asked for clarification, specifically: "Is this coverage not optional, not waivable, and mandatory to purchase?" The employee confirmed: "That's correct." He then added: "If you do not want to pay the coverage fee, you must limit your rental to no more than six days." Based on this explanation, I believed I would not be charged for the first six days of my 14-day rental and would only be charged for the remaining eight days. When I asked him to confirm this, he responded: "Your rental is too long. You'll be charged $11.99 per day for all 14 days." As I urgently needed the vehicle, I proceeded to swipe my credit card to pay the security deposit and the coverage. The agent told me four consent screens would appear on the card reader and instructed me to approve all of them. When the Tire & Glass Coverage screen appeared, I paused to reconsider. At that moment, the employee returned with the car key and handed it to me--before I had completed the authorization process. Please note: I did not sign the Rental Agreement. The signature on the document is not mine. I believe the employee who misled me may have signed it without my consent. Upon researching the policy after the fact, I discovered the Tire & Glass Coverage is indeed optional--not mandatory as falsely stated. I immediately contacted Easirent Customer Service and was told to return to the branch to resolve the dispute and seek a refund. Accordingly, I returned to the DFW branch within five hours of the initial rental, on the same day. However, the only employee present was the same person who had lied to me. He kept asking for the name of the customer service representative I had spoken with, but refused to give me his own name when I requested it. The rental agreement states a charge of $167.89. However, $11.99 × 14 days equals $167.86. I asked about the $0.03 discrepancy, and the employee simply replied, "It's just 3 cents," disregarding my right to understand what I was being charged for. Unanswered Questions and Unresolved Issues Despite following their dispute instructions and returning to the branch on the same day, more than a week has passed with no resolution or acknowledgment from them. You have been warned.
We flew into West Palm Beach Fl
We flew into West Palm Beach Fl. We took the shuttle to the back of a hotel, got in line…small window with two people taking information for 2 customers at a time, so you’re telling everyone standing around all your information. On the wed site it said I would need my drivers license and a credit card, I gave the to the person at the window. Ok now I was being asked for a copy of my insurance policy (I have full coverage on my vehicle at home) I said it was not asked for on the reservation, the guy said I will charge you for insurance if you don’t have it…..I said no you won’t I was not told to bring it. …..back and forth….i had to have my daughter send me a copy on my phone. Fine, it was very dark about 8:30 pm, got in the car and went to our hotel. Next day I went out to the car to get something and looked at the seats in the car……it was nasty stained on all the seats from and back…..it was disgusting…..writing all over the roof of the car with crayons. Not a full tank of gas. The car smells like pee. Ok took the car back March 26, 2025, went in side…..was told to go out side and wait for the check out person, I said I want to speak to the manager, he’s not in today. Sure…ok talked to the check out person…..Tried is key word here to talk to him about the car being dirty……he didn’t care….he said we won’t charge you to clean it, I said your damn right you won’t change me to clean the car……it came like this and it’s nasty and was never cleaned. He could have cared less….dont rent from this place the cars are nasty 3 of us got Covid-19 from this car. Had to go to a quick care and get meds…..I’m so mad I could scream 😡
If it could be -10000
If it could be -10000, i would rate it that. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. They tell you about this imaginary deposit that you will get back when renting with their "low price" and never see it. I paid 520 DOLLARS for 4 days of a rental. What the scammer did, was put the "250 deposit" into additional fees on the paperwork instead of a separate (so it can be backed up by the company). There was a C U M stain on the back seat, handprints on the back window....We know what was happening. And the car was disgusting. I had no other option so they got me with all these lies. They are now refusing to pay the deposit back because they're scammers. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE ANYWHERE. Specifically in Florida.
