I loved it! Unyoked have thought of everything you need to switch off and feel like you’re in paradise without feeling uncomfortable like you often might feel when you go camping. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to regulate their nervous system quickly.

Jasper was so lush! The hike was as described , spicy but the comfy linen & bed ; kitchen kitted out with everything you could ever ask for ; all the amenities were well supplied. Making it a mission to collect all the sigils now - gives me peace of mind and comfort to know that what you see is what you get !

What an amazing experience! This place is an absolute must-do escape for anyone looking to truly disconnect and reconnect with nature.The location is perfectly secluded, offering a simple setup that still provides absolutely everything you need. There is nothing quite like sitting by the outdoor fire, listening to the waves of Johanna Beach blending beautifully with the sounds of the surrounding bushland. It was the perfect reset. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough!

We stayed in Tilly for a couple of nights. It was exactly what we needed! The cabin was easy to find and felt very secluded amongst the trees. It was stocked with everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and cozy and we loved waking up to the view. We also did one of the Strava walks which was a great way to explore the area. 100% recommend!

Amazing experience, nothing like am outdoor bath under the stars with a glass of wine and someone special to relax you. Follow it up with marshmallows round the fire.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic weekend away in unyoked’s cabin, Otis in Suffolk. The information pack provided beforehand was really helpful, and made the arrival stress free. The cabin is in such a lovely spot looking out onto a wild flower filled meadow. The cabin itself was so cosy, and we loved waking up and opening the blinds to the unspoilt views. We went on one of unyoked’s recommended Strava walks and found a lovely village called Hartest along the way. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for escapism.

Perfectly secluded and brilliantly equipped with all the camping basics you need. The bed was firm but comfy (and the views from those windows, omg!) The shower was also big and clean. Plus, the landscape was just so lovely!

What a wonderful location, superb views and great cabin. Some minor issues could not tie back front door to air the cabin as described and the bathroom door latch is broken causing the bathroom door to keep banging, not wuite the peace we had hoped for. Address these minor po8nts and it would gave been 5/5, would thouroughly recommend and we be looking at our next cabin stay

A very cozy cabin with an amazing view of the mountains through the window. It felt like every detail is thought through from the car parking to details in the cabin. Highly recommend for a couple of detoxing days.

Stayed at Tibor in the middle of winter, it was incredible! The views were insane, such a clean cabin, no issues with hot water and the composting toilet had zero smell. The sheep come up close to the cabin at night, sunrises and sunsets were stunning. The wood fired hot tub was so luxe - if you are competent with fire you can get it going in about 2.5 hours, if you are not then expect the 6 hours! The hike down to the cabin is also no joke, very steep and very loose so pack light and check the weather as it could be gnarly in the wet. Would 100% return to this cabin!

Loved the location , it was bitterly cold , sadly in the am it was a struggle until a bit of heat came from the fire. Access for me was very difficult , I have COPD so the slope was difficult to negotiate. I will probably go " unyoked" again when it warms up ,but, I need to be able to access on level ground or drive my Ute to site to unload. Overall, a good experience.

Unclean, trash full to the top, no hot water and drains were full so we couldnt sleep, wash or relax.

I am deeply sad to be writing this. After seeing their amazing posts on instagram I was super excited and booked time off for my husband and I to spend a few days off in the forest. We stayed at Tilly near Cirencester. When we first arrived, I checked everything to make sure things were clean. I’m glad I did because I immediately found hair, dead flies and bugs and so much dust around the bed. The tiny trash bin we were to use for the days we spend there was already full from the last trip someone had there. Anyway, I said its fine we can deal with it. Next thing, no proper hot water. It ran for a minute and immediately it was freezing cold again and the drain filled up so quickly that the water was going everywhere. And I can dust and clean around the bed but I am NOT cleaning someone elses drain. So, okay, no shower for us either.
As we stayed there with no cleanliness and uncomfortable stay, we had to make the decision cut our visit short because the bed was also not very comfy. I can see some people have aaid great stuff and Im super happy for them but for us maybe it’s a different cabin? Different bed? I don’t know. It was so disappointing to have to cut our stay short after spending so much money because we were so uncomfortable on a stay that was advertised as a Mental Health Break.

I did email the company giving feedback thinking hopefully someone else who genuinely spent their hard earned money would not have a disappointing trip like we did, but we have not heard back from them at all. So I decided to take it here instead. I did provide them with lots of pics in my email too.

Please check reviews for your specific cabin. I can speak for Tilly, it was not well maintained. Maybe choose another one.

We were saddened by how unpleasant our stay turned out to be.

My partner and I booked what we hoped would be a relaxing two-night escape into nature—a chance to leave behind the stress and chaos of everyday life. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to our expectations.

When we arrived, the cleaners were just finishing up and told us they only needed to collect some wood chippings before the cabin would be ready. Once we entered, however, we were immediately met with a strong smell of urine and faeces. Ironically, the only thing that helped was that one of the windows wouldn’t fully close, seemingly due to warped wood, which at least allowed some fresh air to circulate.

After settling in, we made ourselves a coffee, only to find stale water sitting in the bottom of both mugs, suggesting they hadn’t been properly cleaned. We went to wash them ourselves using the limited washing-up liquid provided, but then realised there wasn’t even a dishcloth available.

Later that evening, we discovered reddish-brown stains on the duvet, long black hairs in the bedding, and a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which made us question the cleanliness of the cabin.

Although we had booked two nights, we decided to leave a day early, checking out at around 7pm because we simply didn’t feel comfortable staying another night.

We fully appreciate that this is an eco-friendly cabin, and we expected some compromises. However, with temperatures exceeding 30°C, the composting toilet smell became overwhelming. There were also no cleaning supplies available should guests wish to freshen up the cabin themselves, and only very limited amounts of body wash and toilet spray were provided.

What felt particularly disappointing was that there are clear warnings about guests being fined for leaving the cabin in an unacceptable state, yet on arrival the outside area was littered with cigarette butts, and the cabin itself did not appear to have been cleaned to a good standard.

There is clearly potential here, and the location is peaceful, but the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail significantly impacted our stay. Hopefully these issues can be addressed, as with better housekeeping this could be a much more enjoyable experience.

Amazing experience. Our cabin was dog friendly and honestly was the best off grid getaway we’ve ever had with the three of us. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing stay at Leo in the Hunter Valley - so amazing that you’re able to take dogs with you. They had the best time and so did we! Stunning views, beautiful horses and a very relaxing, cosy getaway. 🙌🏻

The location was stunning and the cabin well equipped and clean. A very small space though with two people and a dog had the weather not been good. As it happened it was warm so we made good use of outdoor space and firepit. Three days with very little screen time changed my brain……I would highly recommend!

The cabin was cute, and we had a lovely weekend. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that the experience is driven by excellent marketing rather than exceptional value. I couldnt shake the feeling that i've been influenced, you book it to "switch off" so you don't question the value, you pay a lot of money to get back to basics, which feels ironic.
I paid for all the available extras because I wanted a carefree weekend, yet I was still hit with another unexpected charge afterwards. Honestly, just include it all in the initial cost. It's not the amount that bothered me, it just leaves a bitter taste when you think you've already paid for everything.

I completely understand there's a cost to running the business, and I'm not saying it's completely overpriced for what it is. But when friends and family asked whether I'd recommend it or book again, I honestly couldn't say yes and I couldn't happily tell them to spend their money too.

There are so many beautiful cabins and unique stays that offer a similar experience for much less. My advice would be to spend a little time researching your options. In my opinion, you're paying a premium for the marketing and brand, rather than an experience that's significantly better than what's already out there.

Edit (August, 3 months after stay): The team has responded below regarding the “upfront charges,” in August, so I would like to clarify. I paid for the additional extras before our trip and was advised that any further costs would be charged after the stay only if I had used more than what was already paid for.

I have not been reimbursed for the unused extras I was charged for. I have also provided screenshots of the payment and the relevant text messages and not heard back from the team.

While I appreciate the attempt to save face in the response below, it unfortunately reinforces my impression that the experience was driven more by marketing than by genuine service. Again, great cabin and switching off experience, I just would suggest doing a little more research, there are some great local guys who provide a beautiful time away.

Loved our second stay with Unyoked. A true nature escape and reset. Just what the doctor ordered!! Always such a great respite/retreat. Off grid, out of range, in the forest, and still a super comfortable, easy experience. The best of both worlds. Everything you need, and nothing you don't. Simplicity. Tranquility.
