My faith in the human race was restored today,as I was served by a young lad (Gen Z ) I reckon. The store was packed and there 12 people before me, so I took a ticket & picked a few items up off the shelf whist I was waiting. He greeted me happily and I began to give him my order, which was quite large & turned out to be nearly $800 worth of stainless nuts & bolts etc.
As I handed him my list I was waiting for his face to change, ( sigh , gasp , eyes rolling, curse, etc etc ) But it didn't happen, to my amazement he just kept smashing my order into the sales computer, making all necessary adjustments & alterations required.
He then ripped out to fill my order, I was surprised
When he returned with my order on a trolley in a very timely manner, ( still not rolling his eyes or complaining etc ) I was wrapped, I paid the bill & took the trolley to my vehicle to unload. Next minute he had knocked off but still came over to my car to see if I needed a hand
Unloading, unbelievable...! Honestly it's been 40 odd years of going to get stainless nuts and bolts etc and I've tried many over those years, trust me, and I have never had such great service ( without complaints ) just outstanding...!! We do have a future after all... well done Tannis you've got a bright future ahead of you...Thankyou
