I should of known better like the old saying "too good to be true". They quoted me a price $2K cheaper than the cheapest price I had. My house deal fail through and I emailed the billing department and text this guy Vinny the very next day for my $1000 deposit and got no response. I found out they are just brokers and they make money keeping the deposits from customers that cancel or when the actual moving companies charge more than agreed.
I never seen a company so many negative reviews and BBB complaints, I should of checked them out first. Don't make the same mistake that I did!

The movers they sent brought a U-Haul box truck that was exactly the “estimated” square footage of my move estimate after I was told by 3 people that a semi truck/trailer would be used incase I was over my estimated amount. The movers did their walk through and then the head mover said we had twice as much stuff than what we stated during our estimate. Before he would move a thing he wanted us to pay him the extra money it would take to move all our belongings(even though I was told during my estimate that if I had more than what was estimated I would not pay extra for it). We call customer service and was told we either pay the difference, get a U-Haul for the extra stuff, or leave the extra stuff behind. Since we needed to move that day (new owners were moving in that night) I had a neighbor take me to get another haul for the extra stuff while my husband stayed to help facilitate what the movers would move). While I was in route to get another haul, my husband had a neighbor come over to help him with something in the house and while he was inside, THE MOVERS FLAT OUT LEFT! DID NOT SAY A THING. Customer service was all confused at what happened and told us the movers will not move us because they said we were being rude…they then said they could get someone else the next weekend (which was not in my contract). I tried to explain that we had to leave that day since the new owners were moving in that night. I asked for a recorded of our conversations and was told that they don’t provide that for customers. I told customer service that they were breaking our contract by not providing movers that would preform the job. IMO, since we declined to pay movers the extra fee directly (which I am sure they would pocket) so they didn’t feel this move was worth it for them. After I returned with a U-Haul the next size up and had our awesome neighbors help load it we all had to laugh at the fact we didn’t even fill it up. All of our stuff would have fit in the size the movers brought (can we say scammers!?!). Trying to get our money back from costumer service was useless. You contact their billing department and no one messages you or call you back. Tried to go through my CC company and the movers told them they were “willing and able to move our belongings”. Love a CC company who doesn’t stick up for their loyal customers. So now I have paid to move my family twice. DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Don’t use this company!!!. This company is fraud and you should never trust what they said nor sign any contract with them. I signed the contract with United Choice Movers, but when the movers came to my house, the movers immediately asked for signing a new contract with three times more money. Also. United Choice Movers never refund any money even they did not provide the services. I will give them ZERO star rating.

I gave a detailed list of items for a move from Southern California to Washington State. When the driver arrived at my home, they told me that the load would require nearly double the size that was quoted. That was without taking a single measurement at either the time of the quote or the time of pickup. They then told me that we would have to pay the new cost or leave half of my belongings behind. I told them to leave. I will be doing a charge back on part of my down payment and possibly a lawsuit to get the rest of it back for Breach of Contract. I have sent them a message telling them that I did not appreciate the treatment and I have not received a response after about 3 weeks. I would give a 0 rating if possible.

FRAUD DO NOT HIRE. They are not legit. Hired them for a move from California to Washington. Movers arrived and instead of carefully packaging as advertised. They just threw things in boxes. The took boxes we had already packed into their boxes and charged us for them. Ended paying for 200cuft space more then was actually used. Every time we talked the price went up. We ended up paying triple what we were quoted just to get our stuff back. They routed our stuff wrong despite being notified may times before delivery that the destination had changes and they failed to notify the driver. He was on his way to Central Wa and we had asked it change it to Western WA. Left a bad taste for movers dealing with these frauds.

DON’T USE! SCAM SCAM SCAM! I really don’t want to even give them a rating as they were awful. They ended up putting us with another moving company that turned out to be a “BIG” joke. When my fiancé or I would call to speak to management to discuss how we were not satisfied we got the run around. I spoke with a so called someone a couple of days before movers weee supposed to be there to give them a list of everything we needed moved and was told no problem and quoted a price. Then the movers showed up and took maybe a 1/4 of our household belongings leaving us stuck with trying to figure out what to do with the rest. We ended up having to hire a car shipping company and a uhaul (the biggest one available) to move the remainder of our belongings from Texas to Washington. What seemed like a great deal turned into a nightmare! If you use this company, good luck! It was definitely a lesson learned!!!!

DO NOT USE. ITS A SCAM. We had to move across country and my wife’s grand mother is in hospice so I was taking care of everything. I get on the phone with a sales rep who blatantly lies to me about the cancellation policy on the phone. William tells me a can cancel any time as long as it’s 3 days before they are scheduled to be there. I sign the contract and realize he blatantly lied to me and I try cancel within 24hrs do to being mislead and lied to. I also reach out to my bank letting them know what had happened. I email in my cancelation request and then get an email from Alisa that I’m committing “friendly fraud” and if I drop tell my bank not to look into it, they will refund me. The bank drops the case and of course I never hear from united choice movers again regardless of countless emails asking them for a refund. No response to even tell me no they are not refunding me. SILENCE. I never used their services, they blatantly lied to me on the phone and they kept my $1995 deposit. This company is hot garbage. Do not use them. They are liars and cheats and they are just a broker. They hire the movers and take money off the top. I can’t believe they claim to be a legitimate business.

If I could give them a -500, I would. This is the worst move I have had. I moved from Tennessee to Michigan. I contacted United Choice Movers to help me with my move. They are brokers, so I trusted them to hire a reputable moving company. The company they contracted for me then subcontracted with another company, and subcontracted with a third company. What a disaster. The original packers were great. However, between Tennessee and Michigan, the truck was broken into, or opened for some other reason, and items were stolen, broken, damaged beyond repair, etc. I am in the process of requesting a full refund from the moving company who hired the third contractor.

If I could give them a 0 star rating, I would. TOTAL SCAMMERS. They are brokers. They initially give you a super low quote so you go with them. Then, they use another company to come to do the moving. My quote was around $3100 for a small 1 bedroom apartment. Seemed reasonable. Buddy, the rep I had spoke with verbally said they would pack everything. But the contract line items said "PBO" next to it. PBO = Packed By Owner. So we had to pay an extra $1100 for packing supplies along with saying their was more stuff then I was quoted for (there was not. Our final total was $7100 and we had no choice but to pay it or be stuck.

And then the actual movers just throw stuff in boxes. Broke tons of stuff. No care in the world.

Do not use this company. They should all go to jail.

Very shady and disingenuous sales tactics. Do not use for any move. Grossly underestimated load size when exact items were given. When carrier showed up they wanted double the price quoted from United choice. Also they are a broker so who knows who will show up to carry your stuff. Stay away. They lie and do whatever they can to get you under contract. Once you pay deposit you are SOL for a refund no matter what happens. Beware!!!

First - they will lie to you about the deposit refund timeframe. it is within 48 hours of calling them, not from the date booked. 2nd, they will make your contract look like it is scheduled with a range from the next day to the date you actually scheduled it for... this means, you cannot cancel within 48 hours of calling, because your move date looks like it is the NEXT DAY. I fought with them and my credit card company and got no help/outcome and lost my $700 deposit for a move that wasn't for another 2 months because the contract reads like it was a range of dates. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT

My situation is identical.... My 87 year old mother with dementia contacted this place thinking she was moving. When I found out what she had done I got involved and from the very first phone call I realized it was a SCAM. I then dug deeper on the net and it was verified... PURE SCUM. Terrible people, awful customer service, liars and rip-off con artist. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I was told by Luis that the "billing department" does not have a direct line and that I cannot talk to a Manager. I have no clue if this "Alisa" is a human being or a bot! All who are associated with this "company" are truly scum of the earth. All you need to do is read the reviews. How does the state of Florida allow this place to continue to take peoples money??? God, is watching.

I signed a contract via email with United Choice Movers on Wednesday, 03/27/2024 @ 06:00:27 PM (ET) (03:00:27 PM (PST)) agreeing to pay $2,835.00 as a deposit that I had scheduled for a move dated 5/13/2024 order #UC4190935. After reading the emailed policy for my purchase I discovered I had 48 hours to request a refund, and that 20% of the deposit would be held. In order to request a refund I had to email their billing department. I sent an email requesting cancellation of my order and a refund on Friday, 3/29/2024 @ 11:48 AM (PST) or 2:48 PM (ET). I received an email Monday, 4/1/2024 @ 7:04 AM (PST) from someone by the name Alisa from the billing department stating that after review of the email sent and of my file, my request for a refund had been denied. I tried to call their customer service line, but twice I was told that a manager would be unable to make an exception or even talk to me (despite their policy stating otherwise) and that the billing department does not take calls. I am unsure as to what I should do at this point. I sent an email request for cancellation and refund within 48 hours per their policy, and I expect them to follow their own policy as well by refunding me $2,268.00 for my deposit of $2,835.00 - %20, but I am still being denied.

This is their cancellation policy that they do not abide by:
8. Due to any cancellation within 48 HOURS of placing a reservation, 20% of the deposit will be held. After 48 HOURS of placing a reservation, your deposit is non - refundable unless a manager approves otherwise. In addition, an email describing the cancellation in detail must being sent to the billing department at billing@movingld If your first available pickup date is within fourteen (14) business days, and you elect to cancel, a refund of your deposit is not permissible unless authorized by management. If customer books their move within fourteen (14) business days of the pick-up date, the 48 hour window is null and void. All date change requests must be made within ten (10) business days prior to the pick-up/packing date. Failure to request a change within this time frame will result in an additional deposit of a $750.00 rescheduling fee. If the change is made within 72 hours from move date fee might be higher. If the customer would like to put their service on hold, the deposit may be used as credit, and the service can be held for a total of 12 months from the date of booking. All deposits will show on the billing cycle under either United Choice Movers or Long Distance Moving. By signing this contract, the customer acknowledges that filing a charge back/dispute of charges will result in a forfeiture of the deposit. In the event a dispute arises between United Choice Movers and the customer; the customer is subject to financial responsibility for the associated merchant and bank fees. As well as, satisfying any outstanding balance before the commencement of their move.

United mover are a biggest scam ever, they are monster they lie to you and They just want to take your money, please be careful.

I was also a victim of being scammed by United Choice Movers. They charged my account under "Long Distance Moving". Tried to charge an additional $7000 more upon arrival before starting the move. They left as I maintained my stance this was not the agreement and Buddy with
United Choice Movers who handled the paperwork and arrangement never answered any of my multiple calls while the movers waited for communication regarding the discrepancy.
The truck driver that tried to extort me left without telling me, only said he was going downstairs and would be back. And even though service was not provided and they left without even telling me, my account was still charged since they have my electronic signature for the original amount agreed to.
I was left stranded out of state, having to make multiple trips and had to figure out alternative means of moving while they were able to get away with keeping my funds.
They need to be reported and fined!

If I could give them a negative review, I would they quoted me $6500 to move from Colorado to Florida when they got here the price went from 6500 to 15,000 left us high and dry. Terrible company to deal with.

Do not hire this company.

They scope things out low and then at the pick up date they’ll charge you double.

I used their online quote estimate, and within an hour received a call at 9:22pm on a Sunday night. When I requested to speak with them later because my move wasn't for quite some time and it was also very late in the evening, the man on the other end of the phone became very irate. When I asked him why he was being confrontational, he told me I was "wasting people's time" by using their *automated* online quote service (you have to put in a ton of information along with phone and email just to see what it would potentially cost, and I was only requesting to speak with them at another time that is not late on a Sunday evening). So much to say, I definitely don't want someone this short-tempered or irrational to be handling all my belongings.

I wish my friend and I would've seen these reviews before he sighed a contract with these scammers! They quoted him a price of 2700 to pick up, move from storage to move to Cali to Louisiana and drop off. Yes to good to be true! Before anything could happen a deposit of 1000 was paid (which by reading the reviews, he can forget trying to get that back). When they showed up with a small truck for a 10 × 15 storage unit that is full to the top (which they already knew because they checked) they said they couldn't move it and it would be $9900.00. So they left and they were laughing about how they wasn't moving the furniture as per the storage owner since they were speaking Spanish and English about what they did. And of course like everyone else in the reviews you can't get a hold of anybody once they finish scamming you. One lady hung up on him and the guy who did the contract blocked his number. Please please DO NOT use this company. If they're ok with scamming a vet then they will scan you as well.

United choice mover is scam, not trustworthy. Don’t use it.
We were quoted over the phone for $5500 including loading, transporting and unloading for relocating from California to Arkansas. When the crew came to pick up my staff, the cost was double to $10,465 for additional space. Finally, My staff was delivered in 21 days instead of the promised 10 days. We were asked to pay cash before the driver was willing to unload. The truck is 18 wheeler with 2-3 households boxes. Some of other family’s boxes were unloaded to my home. We told the driver they are not ours. There is a lot of damage to my boxes and staff because the rain/water leaked inside the 18-wheeler. My mattresses and several boxes are totally wetted. Mold grows on some of my books, bags, etc. United choice mover is a nightmare.
