Had a E Class with frayed strings and the back of the roof closure not fully closing, I had read of ongoing issues with Mercedes convertibles of a certain age with this issue and it didn't sound good and potentially a very expensive repair, came across UCS whilst searching for a solution, they had great reviews but Im always cautious so took it as I find them sort of approach, I am so glad I did contact them, Paul who took my enquiry was reassuring and kept me fully updated, Anis who completed the repair for me is such a nice genuine guy who really wants to help you. I enquired on the Tuesday, dropped it off on the Wednesday for them to have a look on the Thursday, got a call call Thursday lunchtime to say it was complete and ready to pick up, very fair price and fantastic service! Will definitely recommend and so glad I found them.

I have a mercedes c class cabriolet , some cables in the roof mechanism had snapped and a cable locating panel was damaged. My local MB dealership examined the car and said it could cost thousands to fix because of the damaged panel.
I discovered UCS online and called them about the problem, Paul was very helpful and was confident Anis could fix it.
I booked the car in and arrived and was greeted by Anis, he was very friendly, looked at the problem and told me to leave it with him.
I got a call from him later to tell me it was all fixed and when I got back to the garage I was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship carried out on my car. Anis had made a first class repair for a very reasonable cost.

I booked my Audi Q3 in with UCS in May 2026 due to a persistent sunroof leak. Water was entering through the bonnet latch area, causing wet A-pillars and dripping from the rear passenger-side B-pillars.

From the outset, UCS assured me they would thoroughly investigate the issue and identify the root cause. They removed the roof lining and carried out a comprehensive inspection of the entire sunroof system, including the mechanism, seals, drainage pipes, and any other components that could have been contributing to the leak.

I left the vehicle with them for a week to give them the time they needed to complete a proper diagnosis and repair. Throughout the process, they kept me updated regularly and even sent videos showing the tests and inspections they were carrying out, which gave me great confidence in their work.

Living in the UK, I knew it wouldn’t take long to put the repair to the test, so I waited until we’d experienced some heavy rainfall before leaving a review. It’s now been around a month since the work was completed, and despite several periods of heavy rain, there have been no signs of leaks, damp patches, or water ingress anywhere in the vehicle.

We’ve also had a few sunny days recently, and for the first time in months I’ve been able to enjoy opening the sunroof without worrying about water finding its way into the car.

UCS have given me real peace of mind. They’re based locally, so I know I can return for future sunroof servicing, and if any issues were ever to reappear, I have complete confidence in taking the car straight back to them.

Before finding UCS, I contacted several companies across West Yorkshire and Lancashire, but none seemed confident enough to properly diagnose the problem.

A huge thank you to the team at UCS. I can finally enjoy the good weather with the sunroof open, without constantly worrying about leaks. I’ll definitely be back when it’s time for a service.

I took my BMW E46 convertible to Paul and Anis after already trying another garage who unfortunately couldn’t diagnose or fix the roof issue properly. The soft top had become unreliable and I was starting to think I’d be facing a huge bill or complete roof replacement.

From the very beginning, both Paul and Anis were extremely knowledgeable, honest and clear about the process. Communication throughout was excellent — I was kept updated at every stage and everything was explained properly without any pressure or confusing jargon.

What really stands out is that these guys genuinely specialise in convertible roof and sunroof repairs. They clearly know BMW roof systems inside out and quickly identified problems that other garages had completely missed.

The repair was carried out professionally and the roof is now operating perfectly again.

My Volvo C70 convertible roof became stuck and completely stopped working. After speaking to UCS Sunroof & Convertible Specialists, they quickly diagnosed a failed hydraulic pump along with a few other faults that were causing issues with the roof operation.

I travelled from Todmorden, Lancashire to their workshop and it was well worth the journey. The team clearly knows convertible roofs inside out and had all the knowledge and experience needed to get everything repaired properly. Communication was excellent throughout, the pricing was very reasonable, and the turnaround was much quicker than I expected.
