Smile handle falling apart ripping away from all 4 eyelets.

Well I am disappointed to say, I spoke too soon. I reached out to customer service as requested via email with pictures and I am yet to get a response from them. And I also sent a follow up email and still nothing.

I know I’m just one person but I am in the service business and to me every customer counts, and I make sure I respond to my customers as quickly as possible to at least acknowledge them so they know they are being taken care of.

Below was my initial review.
I had high expectations based upon all the great reviews but after first hand use I see a major safety concern, as both of my smile handles are tearing away from the brass eyelets and that is a concern as if they fail while in use it can cause a potential injury.

The big thing that would make these better is the material with the D rings should have been doubles up and double stitched with better eyelets.

Due to these concerns sadly I will no longer use these in my gym.

After a quick response and resolution to replace my handles by Eliott the founder of U Clips. I felt that it is was only right to change my rating.

Customer service was above and beyond and unexpected.

Thank you Eliott these are the 3rd U Clip products I’ve owned and I am glad to see you stand behind your product.

Sorry to hear about your safety concerns for the Smile Handles. I understand your worry about the strap, it was a common cosmetic issue with our previous design and we did make the improvements that you mentioned in our new design.

Just so you're aware the space between the eye ring and the strap you are talking about does not support any load, it's strain from the lack of elasticity from the strap. The weakest link in the handle is the D ring, the handles that have failed have all been from the D Ring and not the strap. With that said we're open to sending you replacements with the new design, just send my team an email at support@uclips.co and we'll figure it out.

Another smile handle preorder here from…

Another smile handle preorder here from 2 months ago.

It was supposedly back in stock in April when I ordered it and even on their website the date says 7th April if you order today in the UK.

No updates from them and multiple attempts to contact them through their own website and Facebook have been futile.

No delivery, no response

Pre-ordered 2 smile handles and the W grip. Fair enough it was a pre-order which I was aware of, but the stated date has now been and gone, and no response to my enquiry about when they will actually be delivered. Very poor

Paid for It, Never Received It, Company Wants Me to Pay Again

I purchased two items from this company (Order #41738), a Viking Press and a Uclip attachment so I could use the Viking Press. The Viking Press was delivered without the plastic hex-shaped clamping knob screw. The company did not replace it, but they did issue a $8 refund for the cost of the knob and provided a link to purchase a replacement on Amazon. They also failed to send the Uclip, which is required to use the Viking Press, even though I paid $39.99 for it.

When I notified the company that I never received the Uclip, John Pimentel responded to my email by claiming it was delivered and offered me a 40% discount to repurchase an item I never received. Now I have a $69.99 Viking Press that I cannot use, and they still expect me to pay more money for the missing Uclip.

I would NOT recommend ordering from this company. They do not deliver all the items you purchase. I will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission.

Our new customer service representative was following guidelines because the proof of delivery showed your address on the pictures.

That said I understand products can get stolen and our SOP says if the item is stolen send the product at cost, hence the 40% off.

Exceptionally I can have the warehouse send you a new U clip for the troubles. Again I apologize for the inconvenience.

Very disappointing

The products were advertised as in stock, I paid immediately, and after almost two months I still have not received anything. On top of that, no firm delivery date can even be provided. That is not how you treat customers. If you do not have the goods, then do not take your customers’ money. Very disappointing and highly unprofessional.

Our pre-orders are indicated on the product pages for each product. I understand you can miss this though, so I am sorry it was not clear enough.

We run pre-orders to allow customers to reserve their inventory. As we're launching in new markets with a supply chain of 90 days with no forecasting data it's necessary for us to gage the demand using pre-orders. We understand that is not ideal and we will have this fixed by when we get the demand data and the supply chain catches up.

I apologize for the confusion and the bad experience with us.

Bad company.

I ordered at January a product by Uclips. After a time of no delivery a made a email. The answer: sorry the product is not in stock. You must wait till April to become the peoduct. Why Uclips offers products which they not have. Very bad Company.

save your money

Had to wait over a month for the Viking press which should’ve been no more than 2 weeks. At the month mark they said I still needed to wait for a restock so i cancelled my order. When wanting to refund my uclip because I never received my full order they still charged me for shipping even though they couldn’t get the order right. Just order these same products on Amazon for cheaper ..

well made but...

I believe the product is well made, however, here is my feedback for improvement:
1. It's so well made that they are actually quite (unnecessarily) heavy.
2. the strap is not adjustable which would have been great so that when using sideways, one can secure with strap instead of only relying on the rubber lip at each end.

My plastic handles that came with the cable machine have a strap that wraps around my hand and it more secure, even if it doesnt have a nice lip like this one.
